A very fine property, this hotel has a very special charming atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful and both restaurants serve very fine dishes. Most likely its biggest asset is the location alongside the banks of the Rhine river ! Our room was located on the top floor with a huge deck and a stunning view. There is however a big negative comment to make there is absolutely nothing foreseen for guests having diabetics at the breakfast buffet and that is very unfortunate ! Certainly when you see how vegans are being pampered a matter that is unacceptable and inexcusable ! That being said a great stay and highly recommendable to vist the Papa Rhein hotel ! Ahoi Ahoi

The hotel is old-fashioned, and the rooms are very small with minimal amenities. For €400 per night, without SPA access.. I would expect at least a coffee or hot water machine in the room, Shampoo and Conditioner, but even that was very poor, 400Euro/night !! Outside the hotel, there is ongoing construction with high noise throughout the day. We stayed for two nights and, after a long day of sightseeing, wanted to rest at noon, but it was impossible due to the constant noise. There are many nicer options hotels in town, I’m using order in other networks hotels, but I was sure this one different and, I regret that this was the one I booked

Beautiful environment, every inch carefully designed. You can chill and relax. Comfortable and quiet rooms with amazing view, comfortable bed. Friendly and caring staff. Delicious food. Calming view from the room and restaurant and rooftop pool.

We had a few days of hotel tours in the area, and we arrived from one of the highest-rated 5-star hotels in Hessen. And let me tell you: PAPA Rhein surpassed it by far! PAPA is extraordinary; it is incredibly clean, the rooms are cozy, and there is a very warm atmosphere! Everyone, absolutely everyone on the staff, is friendly and smiling. The breakfasts are delicious—IT'S SIMPLY OUR TOP CHOICE. Usually, we always book suite-type rooms, but we only had a twin available this time, and it was fantastic!

Papa Rhein in Bingen is a standout concept hotel right on the Rhine, combining modern design with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine is exceptional, both in the main restaurant and on the rooftop – every dish was a delight. The rooms are stylishly furnished with great attention to detail, offering comfort and a unique vibe. The hotel is highly modern, with plenty of parking available right at the entrance. The seminar rooms are fully equipped, making it a fantastic choice for business events. While I didn’t have the chance to try the wellness area, it looked incredibly inviting, and the rooftop pool is certainly a highlight I’d love to experience next time. Special mention goes to the friendly staff, who made the stay even more enjoyable. Papa Rhein is the perfect mix of style, comfort, and functionality – I’ll definitely return!

It's a nice hotel, but I wouldn't call it a spa hotel. There's a small indoor pool and 3 saunas but it's all very small and crowded. The views of the Rhine are fabulous, staff is friendly and the breakfast really scrumptious. Room was nice and modern and clean.

Bingen at its best
Tolles Hotel direkt am Rhein, Zimmer mit Balkon mit Blick auf Fähre und Rhein. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sauna sehr gut, Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche übrig und die beiden Restaurants lecker.

This review is for the restaurant Boothaus in the hotel. It is again in "The Guide" and completely undeserved. Slow service, and food that at it's best, is barely acceptable. I had the fish, which was basically a scrap from a salmon, the tail section that was cut off from the main filet, boned, and cooked to the correct temperature in a sous vide. The skin was left on, and the lateral line not removed. It was a tasteless, expensive dish with elaborate presentation. That did not excuse the poor quality. Stay away.
