Peters Hotel & Spa in Homburg

My stay at Hotel Peters was unfortunately an unpleasant experience for multiple reasons.
Despite the fact that I was looking forward to staying in a nice hotel (like it presents itself on the website), it started with a very negative note. I had reserved 2 rooms but unfortunately my colleague couldn't join the trip. Despite the fact that I informed them 3 days in advance they immediately replied that I will need to pay a cancellation fee of 75% of the value of the room. I pointed out that I am still staying at the hotel and that this is not a cancellation of the reservation but that I unfortunately do need to chance the reservation for unforeseen circumstances. This we negatively received. Arriving at the hotel I thought we could solve this but despite the fact that the hotel was almost empty, I couldn't count on their consideration: "Your colleague not joining is not our problem but your problem".
Then the room: small room with a tiny desk where you first need to remove everything before I could fit my 13 inch laptop on it. No fridge where I could store something The shower didn't have a shower curtain or door therefore I was standing a flooded bathroom after my shower. Additionally, I had a living cockroach in my room (see picture).
Arriving at breakfast the next day I was not even greeted. Only words were: "Zimmernummer?". You could also order an omelet but after 15 minutes of waiting at my table nobody came and I needed to walk up to the waitress to pass the order.
You would expect more of a luxury hotel.
