Amazing place to visit of you are in Daun! The staff is very kind. We come here since 8 years for the Eifel rally and this place is must if you want to enjoy your stay !

The personnel at this hotel were very attentive, helpful and friendly. They made our stay enjoyable and easy.
The rooms are very outdated, but they provide everything you need. The cleanliness could have been a bit better, but it wasn't awful.
In the restaurant, Maar y Sol, there is a room for smokers, which I found very strange. The tables outside and near the windows were all taken, so we were seated near the smoking room and I found the smell unpleasant while eating. But again, the staff was friendly and attentive.
Overall an okay place.

At first glance, at second glance, almost repulsive.
We were in the Restaurant, which seemed from the outside very nice to us. We ordered for four people, food and Cocktails. The Cocktails were all very good.
The food was to a large extent also crafted very well, my shrimp and the Wedges were just outstanding, a real recommendation and my respect for the chef.
However, My Chili con Carne had to court the taste of the Finished and the food was (served at last) for more than 30 minutes after placing the order. A Person got the ordered Spare Ribs but after 15 minutes, while we have waited for ages. Also little was that my ordered Tapas consisting of shrimp and Wedges (starters), came to my Chili con Carne. Good planning is different. The shock of our companions got but when you visit the toilet. Unclean and unhygienic.
We will not be there again to eat, even if all the prices are really fair.

we were on a Bicycle tour in the eifel. because at the same time -rock am ring took place, were assigned the properties almost completely. the happier we were, as I received during our multi-day tour, on the eve of the arrival in daun, a reservation confirmation from the hotel for an overnight stay. upon arrival we were informed however that we had never called and there are no rooms were free. without words.

The service here was really great I found. The only problem was that the restaurant is disturbingly full of flies. Food and room was fine, nothing to write give about but comfortable enough.
