Nice terrace and beautiful view of the Moselle. But they find paying with Bancontact terrible. Not under 20€. Waiter (too old to serve) was super rude and arrogant. Next time we will definitely go somewhere else. There are enough to enjoy a nice glass of wine.

The room is big and very comfortable, it is silent, good bed. There are no lifts, so we had to climb 4 floors on stairs. It is not easy. The breakfast is very good.

Let me start by saying that a lot of the low ratings here are very recognizable.
The (downstairs) wine bar doesn’t serve food or beers. It’s a wine bar only. It looks fairly nice and modern and the wines are genuinely nice.
However, the service is absolutely terrible. Impatiently and not talkative or considering. It was made clear that we can pay immediately when we didn’t want another two bottles for the group. The place was only half occupied, so there was no reason that we had to be on the way out within 5 minutes.
On the way out, the waiter “with the grey hair” (there are two btw) smashed a door in one of our party when we’re about to leave.

An experience we won’t forget any time soon.

Wine was good. Service was terrible. Paying by card was not ‘possible’. On our way out, the door was literally thrown in my face. Do yourself a favor and skip this place!

Very poor service; waiters were very un-friendly. Didn’t want to accept MasterCard/Visa but actually could when we couldn’t pay otherwise.

I dined here on July 6, 2022. It's a tourist trap - maybe good for drinks, but not to eat.
I ordered their most expensive three grilled meats. The meat was all right but the garnish potatoes were sour from beginning to spoil.
My meal and a glass of wine came up to 28.10, but a credit card can be used only if you spend over 40 euros.
A local person gave me a piece of advice to pick a restaurant that is a stand alone restaurant and not a restaurant with a hotel or guest house.
I would not recommend this restaurant, and I will try my luck somewhere else.

Food and wine were delicious. Presentation of food was very well done. Service was very efficient. Prices were moderate about 45 Euro for two meals with wine and sparkling water. Lovely view of the river. Nice breeze on the second floor patio.

The location is very good in the center. Breakfast is wonderful. High quality food and every one can find something to eat. The room was clean and tidy with a fan. Unfortunately their is no elevator and no one could have helped us with Our suitcase to the third floor..

The deep-frozen Schnitzel and the Lukull-Hollondaise were made error-free and warm. The fried potatoes were okay.

In the case of fresh products, the kitchen is overwhelmed. Medallions were raw inside, the beans mushy.

Claim is great. Result mau. Price-performance ratio is not right. The waiter had no word of apology.

We were with 4 women last week, the 4. Times in this Hotel and we will visit again and again. Rooms really nice, newly renovated, in the bathroom, very nicely decorated, staff very nice, room very clean, Breakfast good (weather permitting on the covered terrace with views of the river Moselle), and also the food in the Restaurant good. Location absolutely super, very Central, right in the old town, and even there, where what is going on. As long as we Cochem only in this Hotel. Price-to-performance ratio is absolutely correct.
