Wonderful Hotel with views of the Mosel River and valley. Rooms were clean and quiet. During our 5 night stay, Philip and the entire staff provided outstanding customer service. Excellent restaurant on the base floor. Easy walk from the train station. Overall a great place to stay while visiting Cochem and the Mosel River Valley.

I've been to this hotel already two times. Although the rooms are a bit old, they are always clean and neat. Also, it's in the best location possible in Cochem, breakfast buffet is variated and the staff is very friendly. I totally recommend it! 👍

Great hotel right on the Mosel. Graciously accommodated our last minute reservation. Bed and linens were comfy and the balcony was perfect for wine at night and breakfast in the morning.

We stayed 2 nights with our cats, maybe that's why our room was 1st floor. It would have been better views if that was higher floors especially we payed extra for a balcony. It felt like we payed way too much and the view wasn't so impressive and room was small. Disturbing part was that we were able to hear laughs and noises from the next door. The wall isn't as thin as it looks. But location was great, so as breakfast

This hotel is beautifully located along the Mosel near all the major attractions. Although it is in a touristy area, it is quiet at night. The beds are very comfortable and we have been grateful for the warm comforters during this rainy stay.

I would also mention the hotel breakfasts are some of the best I have had while traveling throughout Germany, with a wide array of food to choose from including yogurts, muesli, and cold meats, accompanied by scrambled eggs and fried bacon and sausage.

Finally, what made this hotel stay exceptional for me was the attention of staff to my needs. I had medication which required refrigeration and the kitchen staff were amazing. Philip Foerderer, the hotel manager, went above and beyond to provide me with restaurant suggestions, taxi bookings and orientation of the city’s attractions. I felt like he was my personal host.

Lovely, if a little old fashioned, but then that added to the charm! Ideal for our festival visit!

Location is great for being in the center of the tourist area. It’s among restaurants, shops and right by the boat access area. They do a self check in/out so there might not be someone there. Our room was comfortable. Carpet seems a bit old but possibly they stay with it to help with noise? You are able to hear the people in adjacent rooms but it’s not bad. We only ate dinner here one night and the food and service was good. Prices very comparable or better. I’d recommend this hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located, right in the heart of town, on the river. It's a family-style hotel with its own restaurant and lounge downstairs, and across from the cruise ship terminal and ticket office. The rooms are similar to those of a two-star hotel in China, a bit like a Japanese-style hotel. While not upscale, the hotel feels thoughtfully maintained. The pedestrian street church is nearby, as are many restaurants. Very convenient. Arrived early and received a free night.

The hotel has a great location and stunning views from the rooms.
Self-service check-in is available, and the front desk service is friendly.
Parking, however, requires advance reservations, and only short-term parking is available in front of the hotel. It's strange that I couldn't get freshly ground coffee for breakfast. There was a coffee machine, but the girl checking my room number in the restaurant refused to let me use it.

The location is right in the city center and close to everything. The room is equipped with a fan. During our stay the weather is so hot and the fan didn't helped much.
