Quiet hotel with simple but comfortable rooms. Everything was clean and tidy, although the hotel doesn’t feel very modern. A good option if you want a calmer place away from bigger crowds. Staff was friendly and unobtrusive.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in and I’ve travelled the world. No minbar or fridge or kettle. The cleaning lady is a liar and runs a scam with the receptionist to take 150 dollars for „smoking“ I smoked once near the window and she saw me and used it as excuse to almost call the cops on me???? Then they end up banning me? Like ban me for all I care. The only thing that’s good about the hotel is the location not even the hotel itself. It’s close to where I needed to be. And even then it’s not that great because there is a nosy big football field where they yell 24/7 and I had to walk 3 flights of stairs everyday to get something from the communal fridge and there are no staff to help you in the desk only during the breakfast time which is not even included. I can’t believe I paid a 100+ euros a day for this garbage. Never again.

Great service and super clean rooms! Very friendly reception. Great place to stay if you want to be close to the university.

Pleasant location, friendly staff, good parking
I stayed five nights and would book again. The location is very pleasant and safe, in a residential area. It is short (5-minute) enjoyable walk to the bus stop. Public transportation is excellent, so all of Mainz is easily accessible. Additionally it is only a 10-minute walk to the Gutenberg university.
The hotel is rather short staffed, but they work very hard to ensure that you have what you need. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, a breakfast is provided every day (for additional cost), and they give contact information in case any problems arise when they are not on site in the evening (which didn't happen during my visit).
I prearranged my arrival as instructed, so I knew what to expect and I had no trouble getting entry when I first arrived. Free parking is convenient and spots were always available.

The breakfast was good and the coffee machine was a nice addition.
The refrigerator in the room was not functioning.
Unfortunately patrons smoked just outside the entrance.

Nice, clean and calm hotel in walking distance to university. I enjoyed my stay.

For this price I find the hotel definitely recommendable. The location is very quiet. The rooms are really super clean, renovated and well kept. Can’t comment on the parking places as I’m here by train, or on the breakfast. But the personnel are very friendly and uncomplicated.

Nice, spacious clean room, but nobody there
The room was nice and spacious. Clean.
The problem is that there was nobody at the reception in the evening when I arrived around 6.3pm and my phone could not connect so I had to ask people to call for me. In the end a letter was left outside for me but I wasn't warned.
