Central in Worms

Fairly average stay in a fantastic location, however upon leaving my key in my room and the door locking behind me, I was left completely without help at 11pm, and needing to leave at 6am.

The out of hours number for reception was no help: I rang it about 20 times over the course of an hour and it rang out every time. Will not be staying again.

Central Hotel Worms: This place sucks. The hallways are extremely dark. The reception isn’t when you walk in. the entrance is not on the main road. This place is also stuck in the 1980s. Everything is carpeted— including the walls of the elevator. there are no extra plugs in the room— one for a fan which is very necessary in the summer and one for a scented plug in. I took out the plug in to be able to charge my phone. The bathroom is incredibly cramped. The sink sits in front of the toilet, my legs were touching the sink. There isn’t any shelving in the bathroom. the bathroom lighting is awful. The shower was horrid. Very cramped, and I’m not a big person. As soon as I turned on the water, the bottom of the shower started to fill up with water. The water was fine at first and then it got cold- not even 5 minutes later. I tried to make it hotter, and then it was way too hot. I got out of the shower and wanted to sit on the bed. There was a hair on the sheets. I tried calling down for new sheets— THE PHONE WAS DEAD. I went downstairs to get help at reception, it was closed. I knocked on my neighbor to see if his phone was working, also dead. Then he asked me for the WiFi code as it was not located in his room. I sent a message to the property via booking.com to get new sheets and someone did come by. He changed the sheets though he couldn’t explain why the phones didn’t work.

Two days later, I came back to my LOCKED hotel room that had a “do not disturb” sign on the handle and the room had been made up. The towels had been changed, the trash had been taken out, and the bed was made up. They came in without my permission, consent, or knowledge.

Truly one of the worst experiences I have had with hotels. I wanted to cancel my booking from the first night but the cancellation policy would have cost me the entirety of the stay and I simply didn’t have the means to pay for this stay and another one.

Never in my entire life nobody treats me like that, they didn't let us in because we came after 23 pm , we called them before 23 pm ,no answere!!
Then we tried for another 40 minutes and nothing , we travel 1200 km.!!!!
How dare you!!!!
I Do not recommend this hotel, how can you leave your customers like that!???? This is disgusting!! Never go to this hotel!!!!never!!!
I hope they face bankruptcy soon 🤮🤮🤮it was fully paid!!! Mdf
