Hotel am Hafen in Mannheim

Great place!!!
There is everything you need.
Good shower, wifi, parking, comfortable bed and very clean.
The hotel is small and intimate, you have very friendly and flexible service.
My own favorite thing in this place is that they grow very very tasty chili papers in the parking lot. :-)

Nice place, a walk away from the city center. Staff was amazing and the rooms were clean.

Good alternative to the standard business hotel in Jungbusch -
The family-run Hotel am Hafen is located in the Jungbusch district of Mannheim, in the middle of a lively nightlife and bar scene. During the two Corona years, the rooms were renovated and designed in an attractive and modern way with smooth floors and simpler furniture. The rooms are not air conditioned and the elevator was still under construction in June 2022. Parking spaces secured with a courtyard gate are available. Room no. 5 with a view of the courtyard was sparkling clean, charging adapters were ready, WiFi worked perfectly, self-check-in with a QR code was possible. The entrance to the hotel is unappealing and smells of the typical mix of age-old food smells and cleaning products found in an apartment building.

Very nice hotel. We were on the business trip ( 4 men team ) and booked the hotel, which was very convenient and close to site. Rooms were clean and comfortable ( room we were in was obviously recently redecorated ). Comfortable beds. The host was very friendly and helpful. Since we had weekend free, we were allowed to use the terrace grill for ourselves.
Car was safely parked every day in the closed hotel parking.
The only minus is that we were on the top floor and hotel does not have a lift, but it was not a great issue.

A basic hotel that gets the job done. Well suited for a short stay on a work trip. The breakfast was ok as well.
