We were unfortunate to have an accident on the motorway the night between 22nd and 23rd of December 2023. At 3 o'clock in the night we were at Oldenburg in Holstein without car and without a place to go. We phoned Hotel Mira Mare. They answered the phone, which was not the case with other hotels in the area. We explainede our situation, and they had 2 rooms for us. We were 4 persons. They also told us the number to the taxi, we should call. The taxi picked us and our luggage up 4 minutes later, and shortly after we arrived at the hotel.
We were headed for Austria, and the next morning we negotiated with the insurance company how to continue the travel. We should have been out of the hotel before noon, but we were not. Early in the afternoon we had a plan for continuation of the travel. Hotel Mira Mare was so kind to let us stay in the room until we could continue. The Hotel even provided us with a taxi for the first part of the onward travel.
We were in a pretty bad situation, so it was so good to receive all the help from Hotel Mira Mare. We were so grateful for the kind assistance.

Busy place at this night. A chef was missing in the kitchen and a little understaffed. But nice hotel room with a great wiew. Breakfast was good.

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night, because we were traveling from the Netherlands to Denmark (via Puttgarden)
We had a spacious apartment with two bedrooms. Perfect for family with 2 children.
Downside: no (private) outdoor space (but beach and park are nearby)

I cannot disagree with the other bad reviews it was really nice there. The rooms were not dirty the bathroom is small but clean the boss and the staff are super friendly you feel like you are related in a family because they are really very open and helpful. The food in the restaurant is delicious, the hotel is highly recommended for a three star hotel, it's really not bad 🤩 & thank you nadja for my ice cubes 🥰🥰🥰

We had the apartment, which was nice and clean but also in need of repair in some places. All that could have been fixed during the corona period. At breakfast I missed the fruit and the selection wasn't there either. Hasn't had such a bad breakfast in a long time. For the price, which I saw afterwards, the price was increased by 40%, I would have expected something better. So my conclusion, never again.

Quite alright. All good for the price. Breakfast is great. Food ok. Room, mine was small but clean. Other was not impressed with the bathroom ...
