I checked out various hotels in Göttingen, on Kasseler Landstraße around 14:00 16 June 2026.. One was too expensive, one had terrible reviews, and two had no staff, and the door was locked. There was a panel of buttons, including one for English, which led to another panel, which when you pressed 'Book', did nothing. I think you have to wait til 15:00 to get in. B&B Hotel was the opposite. Not expensive, good staff, OK room, OK breakfast. Good value.

I spent a night here as a layover for my next business trip. All was pretty fine, except for the bed. The bedsheets were just not right, although the bed itself was rather comfy. Although good in length, they are very narrow. One turn and the sheet ended already. I barely slept. The heater/AC was also quite noisy, and so was the large street right outside. Value was fine, and staff was nice.

Easy walk from the main Erfurt train station and to the sights of the adorable town. Easy checkin. Stored our bags so we could enjoy our last few hours before we left town. Clean, comfortable. We appreciated having a room on the back of the building as it was very quiet. We’d stay again.

I had a great stay! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was fast and easy — completely self-service through electronic kiosks at the entrance. I especially appreciated the use of a code instead of a traditional key; it was super convenient and hassle-free. The staff also seemed very friendly and polite, which added to the overall positive experience. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay at B&B Erfurt.
The room was simple and nice. It had AC and a hair dryer. Relatively clean.
Keep in mind that you should bring your own shampoo.

I arrived at 10pm, and left again at 06:30 the next morning, so I did not interact or even see any staff. Everything worked as advertised with codes, the room was great and as expected for the price. There was even air-conditioning, not a normal thing in Germany, and it was hot out, so that was really appreciated.
My one issue, no coffee. This is so German. There was a machine in the lobby but it only accepted exact change. Time to update the machine for one that accepts credit cards.
