Nice New hotel. It's fine for a night. The HDMI ports on the TV are blocked so can't use streaming device. Also, no provision to cast or mirror from phone so only TV provided by hotel. Real bummer about that.

The hotel is located in an exhibition area in Erfurt, next to a large supermarket and a small Vietnamese restaurant. There is an S-Bahn station in front of the hotel. Parking spaces are available at the hotel for a fee. The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, but several of the service staff in the restaurant did not seem particularly friendly...

The Mercure Hotel is conveniently located, but it's an older hotel. It's a standard 4-star hotel with parking available for 25 euros per night, which is very convenient.

It's located immediately to the right after exiting Erfurt Station. It's very convenient for travelers using the train. The hotel is a little old, but it's well-maintained and I didn't find it unpleasant. The tourist attractions in the old town are within walking distance. The location is right to the right of the train station exit, and the room faces the train station square, so it gets very sunny from the west. As soon as you open the door, there's a musty smell. Most importantly: there's no air conditioning!!!

The quiet location of the hotel is an advantage for people w/ cars. One needs about 10min walk to the nearest train station. Rooms are comfortable. The bath towels could be of better quality. Very nice hotel in a residential part of Erfurt. Free parking which is a big plus. It's a short 5 minute walk to public transportation and then 10 minutes to the Christmas markets. The best hotel I've been in my life. Awesome staff and rooms, with incredibly comfy beds and a bathtub. There is also a sauna and fitness room. Very recommended if you want to visit Erfurt.

The mirror in the room was greasy, the bathroom wasn't clean, the large bed was actually two single beds pushed together with a gap, and the restaurant with beer garden terrace was closed due to staff shortage.

The hotel is about 1 km from the central station. We were allowed to check in just after 2pm but could leave our bags in the luggage room. Room of older standard and they had limited so you could only have the lowest level on the AC. We were given a room right off the stairs, the door slammed loudly all night, I don't understand why they don't install silent closing doors like they had on reception...

This is a wonderful hotel, but we were very disappointed in the customer service we received. We were called on the phone multiple times in the middle of the night by the front desk, who said another room was accusing us of being loud. We were sleeping! Great hotel but when it's 93 outside the AC in rooms don't work. We complained and hotel tried to remedy situation but others staying at hotel also told us their air-conditioning also didn't work in their hotel rooms. Nice a bit outside Erfurt. I've stayed here many times on business trips; can't complain! They even have a charger for EV cars, which is nice (costs I think €20 per charge, but was nice to have to charge my car overnight).

The hotel appeared to be fully booked. There weren't enough parking spaces, nor were there enough places for breakfast. This resulted in unnecessary waiting times. However, the staff were consistently friendly and tried to resolve the situation.
