Very nice hotel, clean rooms and tasty breakfast :)

This was our third visit to Axos and we would not think of staying anywhere else in Crete! The staff team are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly and professional, and their genuine care for guests makes many people return time after time. The rooms are so clean and maintained to a very high standard, there is a lovely pool and the bar is friendly with just the right balance...

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — just a short walk from the sea. The hotel’s private pool was spotless and a great place to unwind. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and fresh. The hotel bar was a real highlight — with a great atmosphere. One evening, we enjoyed a wonderful live music night there, which made the experience...

Super clean. Bit old but amazing staff and great pool compensate for that. Very good value for money.

Close to the beach, great pool. Lovely bar and fantastic service. Nice breakfast every morning. Literal 2 minute walk to the beach great restaurants literally next door/across the road Highly recommended.

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Breakfast tasty and the products are fresh. Every now and then you can listen to live music in the bar, we had a great rock band. I highly recommend

Overall, Galeana Beach Hotel is a well-regarded option for travelers seeking a peaceful, beachside retreat with essential amenities and a welcoming atmosphere.

One of our best stays in Crete. The hospetality of the reception ladies, the cleaning team and the breakfast crew was the best ever. The rooms are simple but ok for us (its a 2 star hotel), access to the pool and beach was fine. Easy access to Rethymion by bus.

We don't like large hotels, so we are very pleased with our choice of Galeana Beach Aparthotel. We felt great here. A wonderful location where you feel like in the countryside. Wonderful and honest service. You can't complain about breakfast because it's not a 5-star hotel. The only thing missing was a few slices of tomato. By the way. When we returned home, I realized that I had forgotten my wedding...

The receptionists have a lot of information and are friendly. My room was basic but comfortable. Fridge,kettle,tv(only German channels)and the a/c worked well.We were on the ground floor and had plants and olive trees to give us some privacy. The pool was nice and sunbeds were always available. The breakfast was a bit boring(no hot food) but apart from that everything was fine. Plenty of restaurants...

Good hotel for this price, private apartaments. We went from 14-21.07 two adults, one child 9 years old. Pluses: -close to the beautiful beach- beach entrance is next to the hotel swimming pools -good breakfasts - but each day the same -good location, a lot of shops, restaurants next to the hotel, but quite surrounding -specious apartment with two rooms -friendly and helpful stuff Minuses: - pools...

The atmosphere is as described everywhere. A small Greek village where everyone has their own little apartment. It is very quiet and cozy and yet less than 50 meters from the apartments is a small town bordering Rethymno where you can eat and shop well. Although the gastronomy has adapted a lot to tourism (i.e. you can often buy schnitzel, hamburgers or English breakfasts), some restaurants have still...

Well maintained self catering apartments, clean bed linen and towels available every day on request, otherwise every two days. Family run bakery and cafe opposite and beach bar and restaurant to the rear. No pool , but beach 2minutes walk and patio area and garden attached to apartments. All in all very good, plain and simple

Perfect location, nice, clean room, 2 balcony 1 is with street view the other is with sea view. A/C perfectly working. There is a nice bakery. Shops around the apartment. Staff is very helpful. Everything was perfect. We loved it.

We had an amazing week in this apartment,the location is great everything is at the doorstep(bakery,bus stop, supermarket,etc), room was super clean, and spacious,private balcony.The staff very friendly,lady even waited to welcome us at half past midnight, and she was very flexible and helpful,we even could stay one night extra

Stayed for 9 nights. Lovely clean and cared for appartments with owners who care what you think. We had sea veiw with shared balcony although they do have private balconies as well, we wouldnt have had different. We enjoyed the socail aspect. Lovely outdoor area in garden with barbeque for patrons use. Uninterupted sea access and everything you could need within walking distance. Made very welcome...

Family appartments, no reception as such, but owners are always on site and respond promptly to emails/calls. The lady was very helpful, nothing was a problem. Rooms are very clean, sufficiently spacious. All have working A/C, which is a blessing. The seaview rooms (most of them) have very very large communal terrace facing the sea + small balconies facing the street. Communal BBQ place at the groundfloor...
