One of our best stays in Crete. The hospetality of the reception ladies, the cleaning team and the breakfast crew was the best ever. The rooms are simple but ok for us (its a 2 star hotel), access to the pool and beach was fine. Easy access to Rethymion by bus.

The receptionists have a lot of information and are friendly. My room was basic but comfortable. Well maintained self catering apartments, clean bed linen and towels available every day on request, otherwise every two days. Family run bakery and cafe opposite and beach bar and restaurant to the rear. No pool , but beach 2minutes walk and patio area and garden attached to apartments. Family appartments, no reception as such, but owners are always on site and respond promptly to emails/calls. The lady was very helpful, nothing was a problem. Rooms are very clean, sufficiently spacious. All have working A/C, which is a blessing. The seaview rooms (most of them) have very very large communal terrace facing the sea + small balconies facing the street. Communal BBQ place at the groundfloor...

I visit Crete often, I found this stay to be one of the best I’ve had. The hotel is quiet and very peaceful, but the staff are unbelievably helpful. I had some issues with my hire car and Mike phoned the company for me and translated, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff members. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, it’s been my favourite stay so far while in Crete.

The staff are very friendly, helpful, and polite. Beds are comfy, they are cleaning the rooms every day (including changing sheets, towels). Summer Dream was literally that! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Solid but kinda generic hotel with lovely staff

The room was clean and towels and linen changed every other day. The staff were amazing and helpful. We didn’t use the pool area as was up and out every morning. All in all it was a lovely hotel and everwhere for us was within walking distance. Having the supermarket next door was a plus, couple of minutes walk to the beachfront, cafes and bars.

Only stayed for one night, the rooms were big and nice and clean. Staff were lovely and good selection at breakfast.

We have just returned from Rethymno and after moving hotels (wasn't happy with our first choice) found the Kleoniki Mare. We were offered the only room available, the top floor apartment with our own private terrace. We loved it! Hotel is clean and good quality. The woman at the reception was super nice. It is a small 10 minute walk to the old town restaurant and party area, but the walk is nice and at the beach. I’m the night it is quiet and a pool and aircondition helps to cool down. Worth the money :)
