It was our first trip to Crete and Ariadne Hotel was a very good host. Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean, nice swimming pool, 2 minutes walk from the beach. 5 km away from the old city of Rethymno (waiting for the local bus can take up to one hour ), but plenty of good restaurants right next to the hotel.

This camping site is one of the best in Crete as well as in Greece. Very well organized, clean common areas. Literally, location is on the amazing Rethymno beach where you can sleep with the sound of the waves! Beach is fantastic with sand dunes ( gold sand) and clear water! Even there are caretta caretta cages on the beach thanks to Elizabeth Camping plus they have presantation night for caretta...

We had a great time at Camping Elizabeth! The stuff was friendly, the breakfast great and we were happy that it was so close to the beach ☀️

The camping is OK. The restaurant is very good , everything was delicious. Showers & WC are clean. I took one star due to the tick that my dog get during our stay. I'm sure about that, it was on visible place on the head and it appears after our check-in.
