The family-run hotel, located near the tourist area with restaurants, bars and shops, 2 minutes from the bus stop in the direction of Rethymno.

Built: 1989

Renovated: 2009

Location: in the village of Platanias, just 50 m from bus stop, 6 km from the center of Rethymno, 65 km from the center of Chania 72 km from Chania airport, 77 km from the airport of Heraklion.

Only 44 rooms. There are non-Smoking.

Consists of one 2-storey building.

Beach: public sandy beach, 100 m from the hotel (1st coastal line). Umbrellas, chairs and beach towels - for a fee. The beach is 1 km away.

Accepted credit cards: American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro.

Pets are not allowed.

Rooms:

Studio: maximum occupancy: 1-3 adults.
One Bedroom Apartment (60-65 m2): maximum accommodation for 3-4 adults.

This was our third visit to Axos and we would not think of staying anywhere else in Crete! The staff team are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly and professional, and their genuine care for guests makes many people return time after time. The rooms are so clean and maintained to a very high standard, there is a lovely pool and the bar is friendly with just the right balance of being chilled out and lively. The breakfast is excellent! In terms of location the area has everything you need; a really nice selection of tavernas, close to the beach, supermarket, local gift shops and an excellent bus service so you are in rethymnon in about 20 minutes. We are just home and can’t wait to go back next year

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — just a short walk from the sea. The hotel’s private pool was spotless and a great place to unwind. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and fresh.
The hotel bar was a real highlight — with a great atmosphere. One evening, we enjoyed a wonderful live music night there, which made the experience even more special.
The staff were outstanding: warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile.
This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, quality, and great vibes!

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day.
Very friendly, polite and helpful staff.
Breakfast tasty and the products are fresh.
Every now and then you can listen to live music in the bar, we had a great rock band.
I highly recommend

Close to the beach, great pool. Lovely bar and fantastic service. Nice breakfast every morning. Literal 2 minute walk to the beach great restaurants literally next door/across the road

Thank you Axos team! We had a fantastic 5 days right at the start of the summer season. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Whilst it’s definitely the people who make the place so fantastic, the rooms were bright and clean with everything you could want for a self-catered holiday. Breakfast included was also a very welcome addition!

Very great staff and services. The bartender are very good and everyone is nice and friendly. Really recommend it.
In one night me and my friends where near the swimming pool at 12 in the night because it was my birthday and the owner surprised us with shots on the house and even brought a sparking candle and sang me happy birthday. Really great people and very friendly. I will come back when I get a chance.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The pool area was awesome. The location was near to the beach and there were plenty of shops and eating places nearby. After checkout I was able to use the pool area and there was a complimentary change area to use before we went to the airport.
