Hotels with sauna in Adelianos Kampos

We’ve been coming for a few years now, previously stayed at the Porto in Rethymnon, but Mr Damanakis is an exceptional general manager and his attention to detail and customer care is reflected by his entire staff so when he moved to this hotel so did we

The hotel is lovely, yes it does get busy with families in school holidays but that can be said of many places, the staff are all fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for their guests

We love them all and in all of our travels we have never found anywhere quite so comfortable and that makes us feel like we are at home while we are away. We will see you all next year

We stayed 4th to 14th September 2025 and as always our stay was fantastic

I was a bit dissapointed to not find any Beach Bags and Slippers in the room, as these are pretty much standard in a 5* Hotel, so when I was asked for feedback on their App, I told them, and the next day Beach Bag and Slippers were delivered along with some extra toiletries

Another slight gripe was the mini-bar in the room was not always topped up and there was a charge for crisps and Nuts! Comfy bed and a great shower in the bathroom made for a comfortable stay, but do take a multi pot adapter, as there are not many sockets

This is my 4th visit to Creta Palace, my husband went many times, throughout his teens and early adulthood. We have two children, at the time of travel were 5 and 8. We have visited Creta Palace in 2022, 2023 and 2025

This is a truly honest review of the resort and we hope many will find it helpful. Creta Palace is one of the most charming resorts

Our last visit in August 2025 was different to the previous years, in that the hotel has clearly made investments in areas and there are improvements, to an already 5* hotel, but these did not go unnoticed

There are members of staff who have been at Creta Palace since my husband was a teenager (he's now 42!!) so you really get the family feel, they take so much pride in their work and it comes across

The staff are so busy but they are highly trained and the service cannot be faulted. Room wise - we have been a few times now so we know what suits us and booked the Ground Floor Deluxe Bungalow

We loved our first holiday abroad with our two boys. The hotel was beautiful, the staff helpful and the food delicious!! Such a big range on offer and didn't feel too busy

Food was epic and the service around the pool really great. Just make sure to download the group app and book your restaurants as soon as you are confirmed. Got upgraded to a swim up room too so that was pretty special

This was such an incredible resort. The staff is absolutely impeccable and their beachside/poolside service was amazing. The buffet was impressive and the food was absolutely delicious. I’d go back over and over.

The staff at the hotel are very accommodating and friendly, helping you with anything you need. Our room was well proportioned, although we could have done with some more storage space for our clothing

We can highly recommend a trip to the Agreco Farm for dinner, The White (adults only fine dining), and Asia White - although all of the food, including the buffet, was excellent

The staff were helpful before we even got to the hotel by answering questions via Whats App, and booking the onsite restaurants for us

We were situated on the ground floor right near the activity pool, which was perfect for us with teens

We booked a massage in the Spa with the very friendly spa manager Hasmik. I got a really relaxing massage from the masseur Stefanos who was able to give me advice for my back problem

We spent 5 days in the Rethymno Palace as a couple, our teenage daughter and 4 of her friends. It's a nice hotel with indoor and outdoor pool and direct access to beach and sea

Food is very different, so everyone can get something to eat, but every day breakfast is the same, some different meals at lunch and some days supper was with fishes. At pool after 11 o clock you need to pay for a drinks

This hotel has everything you need for a great relaxing vacation. I had two massages there, and I’ve never been more relaxed thanks to Stefanos and Hosmik

Fantastic stay at an extremely friendly and professionally run hotel right on the beach. The rooms are spruce, bright and well maintained. We had a view right over the pool and palm trees

The meals were delicious, but the time was horrible. Also in the luggage store room you need to pay 2 euro for lockers every time you want to open it

I have to mention especially the young team led by restaurant manager Alexandros and Soula who lead them with friendliness kindness and humour. We loved staying there and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone

I cannot praise the hotel enough but what makes it so special is the friendliness and helpfulness of every member of staff from front desk restaurant staff and room attendants

The rooms were a little bare as unnecessary decorative items were removed, understandable otherwise the staff would be spending hours & hours cleaning the room for the next booking, but we still enjoyed our stay

We stayed at Caramel last week and can only praise the hotel. The accommodation was fantastic. We stayed in a bungalow with private pool

The hotel accommodation is arranged in separate buildings surrounding an amazing central pool and has a relaxed village feeling

Every single staff member (and there are many) was friendly, courteous, and extremely dedicated to giving their guests top notch service and a pampered experience. The food was absolutely amazing with so many choices…

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

Er is één mevrouw bij de receptie die zelfs Nederlands spreekt. Our room (nummer 217, 😊) is well sized with private balcony, airco and jacuzzi. It is all kept clean daily, including making the beds door twee lieve dames

If you need anything special there is a small shop on the territory of the hotel or you can go into the town 10 mins, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, including Lidl

People are usually staying near pool, so almost all sunbeds are taken (and yes, some guests are still having the habit of leaving a towel on a sunbed but showing up 3 hours later)

The pool is very clean and nice, the only downside is that it is still accepted that antisocial people reserve beds with their towels. Those towels should be thrown in the pool

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

What can I say Wow what a great holiday my husband and I had , from the management to the chambermaids we were made so welcome nothing was too much for the staff specially John and Maria , we will be coming back 100% Miss Lou and Keith

Really good food in the evening. Every wednesday really good live music with a choice of fresh fish or steak (you also can choose from the menue if you like). Breakfast ok but room to improvement

The hosts are really nice, friendly and made a good Service. Air condition costs extra but it is ok if you need it. Location near by the sea and also a Pool and a nice taverne at the hotel

Near by many tavernes and shopping locations. We dont need more than we had and had a really nice vacation at this hotel :) big thank you to everybody that make it a great vacation for us

What an amazing experience! The super kind staff made us feel like kings . It was our home away from home for the last week. Looking forward to come back in September

It is listed as 5 stars but in all honesty needs improvements to be listed as a true 5 stars, namely, the coffee at breakfast is undrinkable and quality differs from the one you pay for in the pool bar, 5 star hotel should provide also tissues, and if it is listed adults only no young children should be allowed

We are just back from a week’s stay. The decor is modern and stylish, especially the bar, pool and restaurant area which is at the top of the hotel with views over the beach. The rooms are very nice and spacious

I would highly recommend staying at the Atermono Boutique Resort. The staff went above and beyond making us feel right at home and all of them were extremely welcoming, friendly & always approachable

Toiletries and towels are provided. There is a lovely central courtyard where movies of your choice can be projected in the evening. Breakfast is varied with all the usual options and more

the first room we were allocated was not a superior and we asked for this to be changed so check what you booked) We were offered another room and this was fine. The rooms are not massive but you don’t need it to be

You can get rooms overlooking the central courtyard for more privacy, We never sat out on ours anyway. Never any issue getting a sunbed, none of the usual nonsense with people getting up at 7am to reserve

We had a fantastic stay and were made to feel very welcome by the staff. It was very relaxed and quiet, the old town was only 10 minutes away in a taxi with lots of things to do

There were some nice, good restaurants down the street (I recommend Vergina 1, super nice and the food is really good). The beach was also about a 10-minute walk away

Service: The service was great, especially Mary, a very pretty, friendly, nice woman who was easy to chat with. I'll be back just for Mary's sake 😊

The hotel staff were allways willing to help, and Mary even sorted a rental car for us and was very friendly and made sure we got a good deal

And you could quickly get to Rethymno town by bus (you have to buy tickets at the kiosk or supermarket, though)

A very friendly family managing this hotel. Always ready to help if needed. Very peace full place, near to the restaurants and shops. Room clean up starting at 8:30. Nice music ambiance near the swimming pool

What made our stay even more special was the people we met there. We got to know two amazing women, Agapi and Evangelia, who have become our dear friends. Their kindness and hospitality made our experience unforgettable

We had a wonderful stay at Rethymno Village. It’s a clean, cozy, and intimate hotel with truly excellent service and delicious food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax

Room was clean, air con was welcomed due to heat. Cleaners came every day except Sunday and made our beds up with the blankets in cute bows! Pools were great, very clean and never struggled to get a sun lounger

Staff were fab, really helpful and friendly, never stopped working and smiling. Food was just what you expect for an all inclusive. We always found something for all 4 of us. Plenty of fresh fruit available

It was my son’s 19th birthday and they made a beautiful and delicious cake and presented it to him at lunch time! Great location - 2 minute walk to beach and lots of great bars, restaurants and shops

Great beach bar across the road with lovely toasties for €3!! Bus to the old town for €2. Would definitely visit again

VERY Designer hotel, calm interiors, VERY helpful staff, AND 3 x swimming pools. Great lunches, drinks. Booked for family of 3, got upgraded to massive double bed and two twins. EVERYthing good. Will stay again !

Wonderful welcoming hotel in a perfect location in that part of Crete. Very close to many tavernas, bars and shops also easy access to the main highway if you hire a car

This hotel is what I always hope for but rarely get when going on holiday. A family run establishment which was modern, clean and very well run. Our room was well equipped and comfortable

The family could not do enough for us including moving us to a room on our last day so that we had somewhere to rest and shower before our flight

The hotel has 2 reasonable sized pools with sun loungers plus a well-stocked bar with excellent barman

Our 1 bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious and although we didn’t cook there were enough utensils and pans if you wanted to
