visited this hotel with my girlfriend in August and I can honestly say it was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The room was beautiful, very clean, and offered an incredible view of the caldera

We had a suite, very spacious, well-equipped, and chic, with a fantastic large terrace and pool. The food was also outstanding, with a superbly delicious selection of dishes, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented

The restaurant deserves a highlight as well, not only is the food delicious, but the team there is just as welcoming and attentive. Dining with that view, paired with their warm service, was an experience on its own

Our room was beautiful and spacious with the most breathtaking view and waking up to that scenery felt magical. The restaurant was another highlight with delicious food full of flavor and beautifully presented

Our stay at Grand Ambassador Santorini was the perfect ending to our honeymoon. The view over the caldera is absolutely breathtaking, waking up to that sight every morning felt like a dream

The entire staff made us feel at home from the very first moment, and a special thank you goes to Pepi, the concierge, for her endless kindness, advice, and help with planning

Caldera View was an amazing place to stay! Highly recommend for adults only. The breakfast was the same fare every day of our stay but was excellent, delicious & filling. The staff was very friendly & accommodating

The location , the bus stop right at the property the pool is georgus and the rooms are huge and very updated the reception guy is very professional and helpful the whole property is amazing

Nice little resort located near the Caldera. Friendly service. Nice pool and bar. Breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus.

The hotel had recently been refurbished and everything about it was first class. Flora was lovely and incredibly helpful. Really peaceful atmosphere - laying by the pool on the new luxury sunbeds was the perfect treat

Our room had a caldera view and was peaceful, unfortunately, whilst there we experienced two power cuts so the generator kicked in so this was a bit noisy but at least we had electricity! The breakfast buffet good, pool area was very pleasant

From my experience and perception of my stay at the hotel : Cleanliness : good, cleaners friendly and helpful. Hand sanitiser in communal areas

We had a room with a Caldera view which was amazing seeing boats and cruise ships come in and out. We ate twice at the good heart hotel in Akrotiri which is a good 30 min uphill walk there

Good room, really nice swimming pool and all the staff is really nice

Overall the facilities are very good for the star rating, the room was very clean, the bed large and so comfortable, and the the balcony gave us probably the best view of the famous Santorini sunsets

If using google maps best to take the one that turns right off the busy main road even though it is a minute longer. There are stairs for part of the way and it is away from the traffic

This was our third time in Santorini and it won't be the last one, here we found a good value for money, a good reason to come back. Breakfast was very good, a good choice of sweet and salty food

As a vegetarian I can usually find something on the menu but when I requested vegetarian food I was sometimes given fish. Lots of sun beds and very good poolside service. Be careful on the paths as uneven in places

Downhill so allow longer for walking back. The bus route goes from there. Breakfast was good but we wouldn’t go half board again

The breakfast was filling enough to give you a good start to the day. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of clothing storage and the bathroom was simple and clean. We had a patio with chairs, TV, hairdryer

I loved my visit here with the family. I think everyone's interpretation of 3* is different. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are a good size with air conditioning, refrigerator, TV and a hairdryer in the bathroom

The shower, as mentioned previously is on the small size but perfectly manageable and yes there is a shower curtain but it was never a problem as the bathroom floor is tiled with a drain so if water leaks over it has somewhere to go

The hotel does provide drinks and snacks, there is a price list on main reception but we didn't purchase anything. Overall we had a fantastic weeks stay and would definitely book here again if we ever visit Santorini

Breakfast is continental, so if you are expecting a fry up or cereal this place isn't for you. There was fresh watermelon, pastries, cakes, bread, cheese and cold cuts as well as orange juice, water and coffee/tea

Irini and her family are very helpful. The air conditioning in our room was broken when we arrived and we were moved immediately to another room. We asked for extra pillows and they were provided straight away

The hotel has a fancy restaurant with outstanding dishes, but there are a few more affordable restaurants in a short walking distance (not as amazing but cheaper) Last but not least - The breakfast was absolutely excellent! They offer many vegan options when

The best hotel I’ve been to in a long long time. The rooms were clean and accessorised, we had a private balcony with a view to the sea and the volcano. The staff was so kind and thoughtful, always eager to help

Experiences – A traditional boat sunset cruise (Medousa) with Miltos and Stathis, horse riding in Akrotiri, exploring the Akrotiri ruins (get a guided tour and split the cost with others), and hiking up Skaros Rock for the views

There are a couple of little mini markets just up the road, and you can walk to the village where you’ll find Theofanis Greek Experience – an amazing restaurant with incredible live music, dancing, and yes… plate smashing

The staff here are something else – genuinely some of the most attentive and friendly people we’ve met on holiday. The highlight for us was meeting Eleftheria, who welcomed us like we were old friends

The location is so quiet and cozy. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond for everything. A special thank you goes to Martha at the reception who went above and beyond to help us hire a buggy

Beautiful views over the caldera, and walking distance to a nice village. The outdoor and pool areas were very nice, quiet and relaxing. All the Staff were very professional and extremely friendly

I don't usually write hotel reviews but this time I am having the absolute pleasure of sharing it about Santorini View hotel

The village of Akrotiri is about a 10 min walk from the hotel along a sometimes busy road, but the walk is worth it as there are a few lovely restaurants, Akrothiri (our favourite) Porto Bello and Paridise Restaurant, I would highly recommend them all for delicious food

We travel a lot around the world, so it takes a lot to impress us but there is definitely something special about this hotel! 10/10 the atmosphere was so relaxing and the views were absolutely unforgettable, the rooms were amazing and spotless

Great place to chill out (throw away your watches you don't need them) and relax, the pool was lovely for a dip to cool off and never busy and there is plenty of sun loungers to soak up the sunshine

There are plenty of buses and bus stops nearby to visit the islands highlights, we hired a car which made life easier as we could get to Fira, Oia, Ancient Thera, Pyrgos etc in the mornings before the cruise ship visitors arrived

The owner Kostas Papalexis was so warm, friendly and a lot of fun. His Mama cooked a wonderful feast for us. He planed a dinner for us in Athens that was incredible. We are a large group of women

Host Kostas becomes your personal travel agent, so knowledgeable and helpful about all aspects of visiting the island. Our family felt so welcomed and well cared for, we hope to return again!

On checking in at the hotel Mathios, I was informed I had been upgraded to a superior room, which immensely pleased me. I found my room to be a decent size

Mr Kostas the manager really made us feel so welcome, with his help we hired a car and saw the best of the island, his advice is excellent. Thankyou so much , we will definitely be back!! George and Hannah

I particularly enjoyed the wines, especially white wines. The trips provided by Kostas were all excellent. He was particularly keen to identify what your requirements were so that he could suggest most relevant trips

Within walking distance, you’ll find beautiful beaches and a charming town center with fantastic restaurants. This hotel is a true haven of comfort. Don’t miss the chance to experience it for yourself!

Great location in Akrotiri, this property is equipped with a swimming pool. The room was very spacious and clean with a nice terrace overlooking the Caldera

Thira’s Dolphin offers breathtaking views of an ancient fortress, the sea, and the caldera, creating the perfect setting to unwind

Perfect location for what we'd planned, seeing the island by car - ample free parking. We were received very warmly, well looked after, and the facilities were excellent.

We had a jacuzzi on our balcony, which was warm and clean with strong jets. Breakfast was very good, and there was oat milk available on request

Cons: there is a service road at the back of the villa that vehicles use to supply a wedding venue a stones throw away. So you can be lounging in your garden and have the noise of vehicles running along the back

She provided us with great food, touring/things to do, and transportation recommendations. She couldn't do enough for us, no matter the time of day. Zenya was also a terrific member of the staff, seeing to our every need

The outdoor area is very generous with two dining tables and a seating area and 4 loungers. The staff were very helpful and arranged our catamaran trip and even collected me from the local hairdresser

Lower ground floor houses a little gym next to the bedroom. The pool and hot tub are heated. Our friends staying is a nearby 5* hotel did not have a heated pool which meant they could not use

Wow! What an amazing stay wait till you see the views , didn’t want to leave. From the Villa itself to the amazing yard, pool and hot tub it was a dream come true it is truly exceptional

We had a wonderful experience at the Presidential Suites, going to Santorini for a wedding. The facility was very clean with extraordinary views of the Caldera and the island as a whole

The view from the front porch was amazing but most of all the service was excellent - the friendly staff and owner reacted swiftly to all our requests and were very helpful with organising a rental car, booking a massage etc

Amazing experience! Not only is it one of the most sensational views on the island but the staff and amenities are equally as good

Staying at Phos was an absolute dream!!! It was magically beautiful. I loved the privacy and Seclusion. The staff was incredibly attentive and so friendly and accommodating

We visited during the month of September and were not able to watch the sunset from our outdoor space (not sure if this is different during other months as the sun moves) but we could see it from the front entranceway of Pho’s, just outside our room door

The receptionist told us to wait for 30 mins and delighted us for offering us an upgrade honeymoon suite🤩 She also recommended some cafes and restaurants and tours and tourist spots near our hotel which is very good to know! Finally we check in our hotel room at 19:37

We stayed at Pho’s for 6 nights and absolutely loved our experience. The entire staff was friendly and provided exceptional 5 star service. We especially appreciated our interaction and connection with Margarita

Mrs Konstantina in the Reception as well as Mr Thanos (Restaurant/Service stuff) made us feel more than welcome, always on their toes to accommodate us! We ordered room service and they were eager to please with mouthwatering food and drinks (our compliments to the chef for creating such delicious food!)

Villa was beautiful and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Heated pool is not warm enough for us. However, the host let us use the jacuzzi free of charge ( our Villa only had pool)

Matina and her team were exceptional she went above and beyond to take care of us, and she organised a surprise birthday dinner and cake for my friend. That was really nice of her 🙂 I highly recommend this place

The villa with a private pool is a great place to soak-in the sun and let the stress melt away. When you’re ready to explore the island, the staff are super helpful and will provide suggestions and make reservations

The location is unique, in a peaceful and serene environment with beautiful architecture within the villas and enchanting gardens. Away from the ever busy center yet still close to all important sightseeing locations

I can not speak more highly of Konstantina and her amazing customer service. The breakfast was fresh, filling, and delicious. I would also recommend Faros Products, right beside Ponta Villas, for a great dinner

The property was very clean and the staff were wonderful and very friendly. We received excellent service from them and the food at the hotel restaurant was great. It's a very quiet area and I would stay there again!

Beautiful, slightly remote with stunning views, great rooms with views, excellent staff.

From the moment we stepped on the property we were greeted with the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced

There’s a boat service at the beach for €15 round-trip per person that will take you to the white beach, the red beach and the black beach and you can get out and swim and rent loungers and umbrellas for five euros per person and they will come back every hour or so to pick you up

There aren't many restaurants nearby, but the restaurant in the hotel serves good value for money for Santorini

The Apanemo hotel was on the quieter south side of the island. The view of the Caldera from our room was spectacular. The staff was extremely friendly and the included breakfast was delicious with many choices available

The only thing you really have to consider is location - it is a little bit remote which not too much around however we did venture out to The Good Heart which is a restaurant you can get to on foot by the hotel and it was amazing

Best place ever The staff were so friendly and helpful. It actually seemed like it bothered them when we didn’t call them to come get our luggage at checkout. The breakfast was great and made to order

I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The rooms were clean and the view was amazing day/night. Great value for money and close by attractions like red beach and light house.

We even asked for a coffee option every day that was not on the menu but they made it for us. The last morning power and water was lost on the whole island. They couldn’t make the coffee we ordered

When the power and water returned. They brought us the other coffee. This is where we will stay when we come back to Santorini

Only pain point was the lack of bus to get to the location, this requires good legs if you didn't rent a car

The hotel - has a really fantastic view (In our opinion better than Oia and Fira) - is very quiet, but still in a town - has clean room - has very good WIFI and lots of electric outlets and a very special thanks to Leuteris, you saved our vacation Best regards Sussie & Per

Lastly, it would be good to provide more information about Akrotiri ancient town site. We were interested in Remezzo but you hadn’t heard of it. We went to The Edfge twice (excellent), Theros Wave Bar and The Seaside

Beautiful hilltop villa Fantastic! Marta and her husband were wonderful. Everything was perfect. Great hot breakfast and list of best places to go and visit!

Perhaps you could provide guests with good directions or suggest they call you if they get lost. (Maybe it was just us but my husband doesn’t normally struggle with directions)

Our experience with Pancratium Villas and Suites was truly exceptional! Martha and her husband Leftheris were incredibly welcoming and committed to making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left he was always kind to us and with a great smile that always glowing. He helped us have an amazing time in Santorini with all his great recommendations

There are 2 sections- an older/more traditional set of rooms, and a new annex with more modern suites. The main pool is situated adjacent to the older rooms, with a slightly smaller pool at the annex

Worth pointing out that the hotel is situated on a very steep hill. We walked down into the village most days, but the way back up is a fair hike if you are not fit or have mobility issues

Nespresso machine has some Pods provided but worth taking some of your own. Breakfast is ordered for the week when you arrive, but items can be changed the night before on request

We stayed in a senior suite with Jacuzzi, that was very spacious and had a large terrace with peerless views of the whole island. Air con was almost silent, and very efficient

We have just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel. The property is located above Akrotiri village, and affords stunning views of the caldera, Fira and Oia

I booked this specifically to be close to the Akrotiri ruins. Hotel was hard to get hold of by Orbitz and myself with no response prior to arrival due to flight arriving after midnight and I overlooked that when booking

I booked a transfer taxi via Ryanair since I also asked for that from the hotel prior to arrival but got no response. The phone kept ringing and I left a message. They have breakfast for 5 euros if you’re interested

They just left instructions since no one was available when I arrived. There was no wifi info in the room so that was inconvenient. I didn’t have that wifi info until the following morning and so could not plan

Checkin is only until midnight in the fine print. It was fine but still anxiety producing since I didn’t know if I had a place to stay or not and there was no cancellation

Close to bus stop and about 20-25 min walk to the ruins either via road or trail route. The road is steeper and hilly so I took the trail

Overall I would stay again, other than the non responsiveness and the wifi info not in the room everything else was fine
