We had a suite, very spacious, well-equipped, and chic, with a fantastic large terrace and pool. The food was also outstanding, with a superbly delicious selection of dishes, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented

This is hands down the best hotel in Akrotiri and one of the top in Santorini! The views are breathtaking, the private pools are just calling your name, breakfast is absolutely fabulous and the restaurant offers beautiful and delicious dishes by the pool

The Grand Ambassador Santorini Hotel is a dream. An incomparably quiet location with stunning views of the sea and the islands of the group

The complex is superbly chic and beautiful, perfectly reflecting the typical style of Santorini. Here, you can relax and enjoy your time

Our room was beautiful and spacious with the most breathtaking view and waking up to that scenery felt magical. The restaurant was another highlight with delicious food full of flavor and beautifully presented

More sunbeds are needed to stop the towel hogging due to lack of beds. Continental breakfast was sufficient for us as we ate out each evening. We never drink in the room but ours lent itself with its lovely views

Also the pool, which you were able to basically use 24/7 was completely clean

Staff were very friendly. Drinks were a bit too expensive. Location was good, there is 2 beaches close by and also best to get a quad bike for travelling around. Room and pool was amazing.

A negative aspect though was the fact that you were never able to get any loungers at the pool because they were constantly blocked by some towels laying on them (which isn’t really the hotels fault though)

Accommodation is beautiful, so clean, the pool area is gorgeous. The food in their cafe/bar is lovely too. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Akrotiri

It definitely has the cute and cozy Santorini Mamma Mia vibe :) It might seem a bit “old” and “broken down” at some spots but that’s just part of the flair and most importantly it was all really clean

The hotel had recently been refurbished and everything about it was first class. Flora was lovely and incredibly helpful. Really peaceful atmosphere - laying by the pool on the new luxury sunbeds was the perfect treat

Just returned from Kalimera hotel Akrotiri. Flora was so helpful and very informative. Helen served us each day with a huge smile. The pool guy and maid's keep everything pristine

Also ate once in the hotel which was lovely and very reasonable. Perfect location to walk to the archaeological site and the boat trip to the white, black and red beaches

Cristoff worked hard to maintain the pool area and was pleasant Enjoyed the stay overall

Reception also organised a quad bike hire on our final day. Bus stop outside the hotel makes it easy to get around. Remember to take extension lead for extra sockets and kettle if you like a cuppa in your room

Our room 22 had the biggest bed we've ever seen and cleaned daily ( I did take kettle for early morning cuppa ) Village with a handful Tavernas is 2 min walk, we ate at Portobello 4/5 nights, was delicious

Lucky for us, Caldera Romantica restaurant was right across the road and we had some time to spare before sunset! The hostess was able to seat us outside without a reservation and was very kind and helpful! We had a beautiful view of the caldera and the colorful sky while we enjoyed our incredible grilled octopus and white wine! We're so happy we stumbled upon this lovely restaurant! Highly recommend

Great spot! Friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast. Comfortable room and a well kept pool. Good restaurants nearby for dinner as the hotel restaurant wasn't open the night we were there.

The food was generally very good, however, we did a half board deal through Tui and we were late in the season so there were a few nights with just us in the restaurant so the food was reheated by the lady on reception, which was a shame because, on the other nights it was excellent

The hotel is in a beautiful location. We had a pool view room with balcony from which the sunset could be viewed. The hotel was clean and staff helpful. It is about 25 minutes walk into Akrotiri

All of the staff at Caldera Romantica were wonderful! From the breakfast staff to the pool bar servers, everyone was very pleasant

Such a fun night! The pool area is gorgeous, but we were lucky enough to stay in a room with our own private lounge pool

Experiences – A traditional boat sunset cruise (Medousa) with Miltos and Stathis, horse riding in Akrotiri, exploring the Akrotiri ruins (get a guided tour and split the cost with others), and hiking up Skaros Rock for the views

There are a couple of little mini markets just up the road, and you can walk to the village where you’ll find Theofanis Greek Experience – an amazing restaurant with incredible live music, dancing, and yes… plate smashing

The staff here are something else – genuinely some of the most attentive and friendly people we’ve met on holiday. The highlight for us was meeting Eleftheria, who welcomed us like we were old friends

We stayed at Hotel Goulielmos for 10 days - which I thoroughly recommend so you can really see all of Santorini and enjoy what the country has to offer without rushing about, plus have time to relax

Hotel Goulielmos is honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. It’s tucked into the cliffs of Akrotiri, not crowded at all, and has that peaceful, away-from-it-all feeling

The location is perfect, on the water and away from the heavily touristed Thira and Oía. The rooms are comfortable and spacious whilst the breakfasts are so delicious and generous

Very nice small hotel on the beach. Good service, clean, nice breakfast on the terrace with a sea view. Cozy bar with fair prices, small private beach with free sunbeds for the hotel guests

Hotel Akrotiri was a peaceful escape from the usual Santorini crowds. The staff and especially the owner were incredibly kind and welcoming. The bus stop and an ATM right at the hotel made everything easy

Nice hotel in a great location, if you're lucky you will get a balcony view of Fira, Oia and the volcano. Pool is perfect with amazing views of the sea and church

Great location in Akrotiri, this property is equipped with a swimming pool. The room was very spacious and clean with a nice terrace overlooking the Caldera

As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us with a chilled glass of juice and helped us to our rooms. The pool is nice to take a dip in after a long day

Hotel is spotless and the staff treats us like family. They are very helpful and generous. They offer recommendations for restaurants, beaches, wineries, etc. , as well as arranging rides and rental cars

Hotel is away from busy city of Fira, but still near anything we need. We hope to bring the family for a vacation

Fantastic location looking out over the caldera amazing breakfast one of the best restaurants just below it.

The outdoor area is very generous with two dining tables and a seating area and 4 loungers. The staff were very helpful and arranged our catamaran trip and even collected me from the local hairdresser

Lower ground floor houses a little gym next to the bedroom. The pool and hot tub are heated. Our friends staying is a nearby 5* hotel did not have a heated pool which meant they could not use

Wow! What an amazing stay wait till you see the views , didn’t want to leave. From the Villa itself to the amazing yard, pool and hot tub it was a dream come true it is truly exceptional

You will need a car or use the taxi on offer at the property. The location is not really near anything and getting to the beach is a 10 min drive. Taxis on the island are expensive

With each villa having it's own pool and hot tub, it's a place to relax and appreciate the immense beauty of the island, water and volcano. I highly recommend this facility

She provided us with great food, touring/things to do, and transportation recommendations. She couldn't do enough for us, no matter the time of day. Zenya was also a terrific member of the staff, seeing to our every need

Best place ever The staff were so friendly and helpful. It actually seemed like it bothered them when we didn’t call them to come get our luggage at checkout. The breakfast was great and made to order

Beautiful beautiful beautiful spot! The views are amazing, food and staff! It wasn’t “In town” but that’s what made our stay more private without people walking around seeing us in the pool

The only thing you really have to consider is location - it is a little bit remote which not too much around however we did venture out to The Good Heart which is a restaurant you can get to on foot by the hotel and it was amazing

We even asked for a coffee option every day that was not on the menu but they made it for us. The last morning power and water was lost on the whole island. They couldn’t make the coffee we ordered

Daily Breakfast is included and was great! You are able to select from numerous breakfast options. This location is close to Akrotiri, so you are away from the chaos of the busy tourist areas

This accommodation and the manager Cleopatra made our holiday an absolute dreammmm!! From the moment we arrived we felt at home thanks to our lovely host she went above and beyond our whole holiday and made it so so special

Melidonia Suites is a great modern hotel in one of the quietest areas on santorini. perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Our suite "Nefeli" was really good with a pool and outdoor seating area and sun bed

Food was really good with breakfast everyday and dinner options are very good. The chef is really really good 👍. The staff overall are very helpful and were keen on us having a great time

The rooms, views, food and staff were all just exceptional. The breakfast and food were AMAZINGGGGG. We even got engaged on this trip and the staff made is so special for us

Beautiful decoration with a little seat « swing » in front of the dressing table. The breakfast is good you have the choice between the greek , the continental and the american

I recommend to ask for the room 3 Best view on the caldera , private pool with jacuzzi , big terrace and a private hammam in the room. The room was spacious and beautiful

La decoration de la chambre est top et vous avez même une petite « chaise balançoire » devant un miroir qui fait office de « coiffeuse » On voulait plus quitter la chambre avec de tel équipement et la magnifique vue

The employees are very nice and helpful , always smiling , extra thanks to SOPHIA at the reception and VASILIS the man who brings the breakfast and handle the logistics

Just an advice , it’s better to rent a car or a quad as the city is at approximately 15/20min by car or bus. Buses are not too regular (1 per hour)
