The hotel is perfect for people looking for quiet and relaxing place tos stay. The only issue was the transport link to the main city and tourist attraction. There is no bus service I have seen in my stay, even if u order Uber u have to wait up to 20 minutes to arrive. If you are planning to hire a car then the hotel is perfect place to stay.

Coco Mat was amazing! What a great welcome to Greece. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us. Great stay at De Sol, everything in our room looks new and the amenities are amazing! We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the hotel who were so amazing to allow us to check in slightly earlier. They said it was a food buffet, but after checking it on paper, Serve food that looks like it’s been a few days They say you can't use the sauna spa in winter because it's closed. I think I should take a sauna in the summer. It's a bit far from Thira. It's a 40-minute walk.

My stay at the Santorini Sky was amazing. The views were breathtaking and the staff were very kind, welcoming and friendly. My room was very clean and the cleaners came every morning to clean the room and hot tub. The food was great and the pastries were delicious. The worst hotel that I’ve been in my life! Our room was so far from the hotel, we needed take the car and drive 10 min to get there. Also the room was dirty and around had a lot of constructions and masons. The breakfast was very poor.

One possible improvement, the private pools are not heated. When we stayed this resulted in the water being very cold. Looked beautiful but not enjoyable to actually go in.

The highlight of Santorini was this hotel/spa. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated with absolute royalty. I can’t say I’ve ever had better service anywhere and I’ve traveled quite a bit. Santorini is a beautiful island, and this place is absolutely worth it. Great hotel just a small walk back from the beach on perissa. Air conditioning worked really well and large rooms all with kettles. Also they price matched the rate when I stayed extra nights which was great for me travelling solo on a budget. Pool cold and brilliant Definitely great value hotel

My wife and I came for a cocktail by the pool of Istoria, and ended up staying the afternoon drinking and conversing with Stelios, the great bartender of Istoria.
