The location is great, the breakfast is good, but the room is a bit small for three people. The bathroom is impractical.

Everyone and everything was fabulous! Staff was very friendly and helpful, location was perfect, hotel was very clean, breakfast was very good, and we would highly recommend Athens Lodge to anyone looking to stay in that area! The only thing that was remotely an inconvenience is that the elevator is very small.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! What started off as a major hiccup in our trip (stolen phone in Syntagma Square) turned into a very positive experience. All of the staff- house keeping, kitchen staff, and reception always had a friendly smile and demeanor. They were resourceful and helpful with setting up transportation, offering dining and shopping suggestions, and most of all supported me with moving forward without my phone for this trip. Our room was always cleaned and bed made up daily. Very comfortable bed! The breakfast was amazing! Many options for whatever you like…the bougatsa was our favorite! Special thanks to Ellie for her hospitality and kindness! Efcharisto poli!

This hotel is literally in the heart of the Psyrri area. Very very popular, fun and loud restaurant out front. Luckily, they turn off the music at 11pm. So many bars and restaurants in the area.

Be aware that you do not receive the room in the picture. There was no balcony in our room. They told us there is only one room like that and they show it for all the rooms. Very disappointing. But, the rooftop makes it ok. Little tables and chairs on the roof to take a bottle of wine and enjoy the view of the Acropolis.

Bathroom is European tiny.

Staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Helps with reservations for dinner and travel to airport or port.

Hidden Gem
Great part of town (next to Little Kook) with a spacious balcony with a view. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot!
In the heart of Monastariki square! Very cute, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. The only negative is that it is right next to the little kooks store and was playing Halloween music constantly!

I saw the reviews on Ctrip that it was quiet, but after checking in I felt cheated and booked three days. The hotel is right next to the fairy tale world where internet celebrities check in, and there are a lot of people. At night, the room is full of the sound of air conditioners from surrounding hotels and the low-frequency roar of large ovens, making it impossible to fall asleep.

Fabulous stay, well located in the middle of bars and taverns but very well soundproofed so no noise pollution. We were upgraded to a suite with a view of the Acropolis. We are regulars in the area during our many stays in Athens. This hotel is one of our best.

Good locations and very friendly receptionist. Breakfast has a good variety including omelet made on your request and Greek yogurt. Bonus top floor common place with a view of the palace.
