The happy hour wine is also disappointing — it’s just very cheap boxed wine, which doesn’t match the expectation. As for the staff, the cleaning staff were quite unfriendly, often not even acknowledging greetings

It’s extremely basic: cheap sliced bread, low-quality ham and cheese, yogurt, cereal, a small cake, and fruit that wasn’t fresh (some pieces were even spoiled). It feels overpriced for what you get

I stayed here recently and the main issue is that it simply doesn’t offer good value for money. There are much better and cheaper options in Athens. The biggest problem was the beds

Everything was great! The hotel is beautiful and clean, as are the rooms. The staff are amazing, and there are lots of common areas. The bar has a fantastic view!

A couple minute walk from Monastiraki metro station. A short walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis museum. Stayed in single room, with private bathroom and balcony

Hostel is a good low cost (for central Athens) “no frills” place to stay in an ideal location in Monastiraki.

Also, there’re no lockers for suitcase - your either leave it next to bed or in locker room which is not safe as the staff says. There’s computer, chess, pool, kitchen (including fridge, cutleries)

Some of them were respectful and other spoke loudly on the phone at 7 am, another one was unpacking his suitcase all night, so your neighbors are really random

The view of the acropolis from the bar at night is fantastic!! Especially if seeing it for the first time. The welcome from George at reception was most welcome after a long day

If you’re girl traveling alone - I wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s closed to center, but the district is considered to be bad cause of immigrants and dirt

If you don’t like when weird dudes stare at you while you walk around, then its better to find another place😅 There were only guys in my shared room

The location couldn’t be better: right in downtown, close to all the coolest spots. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly and polite, which made the experience even more special

Good, central, clean and cheap. Been there before. This time I stayed at the lower floors. Second floor. Much more noise from staff and guests this time. But total experience is ok for short stays.

I arrived around 1 am and was worried the hotel might be closed for the night. However they have 24hr service so you can check in at any time

It’s better to book a hostel than this hotel in the same price point. There is a smell of chemicals on the Hotel floors. The hotels next to this hotel are way way better, there are 3 4 of them in the same lane

I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest private room option I could find in Athens. As a Japanese person, I was quite surprised that the elevator here didn't have doors

Charming hotel in an old historical building. The rooms are very clean with high ceilings. Bathrooms and toilets are shared but it's worth spending a night in this conveniently located hotel.

It's well located, near the center of Athens,(10min on foot) and next to the metro. The neighborhood is quiet, it's not what people think it is. If you are a student, or a young traveller, the place is very great

If you want close proximity to main train and bus hub, then yes. Comfort... if you're not picky. Overall, fine for the price. Bagpackers will rejoice.

We are very pleased with the apartment. Well equipped, bright and spacious. The lovely lady cleaning room let us check in much earlier than stated, which we appreciated very much. We had apartment 5 with 2 bedrooms

Specious room, excellent insulation for noise control. Even though there were parties on the nearby streets, I couldn’t hear any noises due to excellent insulation of the doors and gates

We originally planned to rest briefly before exploring the surrounding area, but the bed and the balcony were just so comfortable that we spent the entire afternoon in the room

The best location you can find with this price. Both the bar on ground floor and the rooftop bar are amazing.  I feel like the tidiness of the room and the bathroom can be improved, but overall great time there.

It was very fast check in, the breakfast was simple but very good and on time. Easy check-out. They have a pretty rooftop view.

The hotel has nice decor, and I appreciate that they offer triple rooms. There's a large supermarket nearby, which is very convenient for shopping. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a great variety of tasty options

Also, the shower stall doesn't have a glass door to contain the water, so after showering, the bathroom floor gets completely wet, making it easy to slip. This is a design flaw that I hope the hotel addresses

We stayed 5 nights. We all loved this hotel. The lobby atmosphere was very nice. The breakfast was great. Our room was 12th floor and the lift always came soon. The restaurant was a little bit pricy.

The hotel is on a main road that leads to everywhere important in Athens and it’s safe at night. There’s a bus station in front of the hotel

However, the safe in my room was broken. I didn't want the hassle of changing rooms, so I just went without using a safe for my entire stay

I stayed there a night until my flight the next day. Hotel was 1/2 way from downtown Athens to the airport and 8 mins walk to a mall. It was perfect considering the low price I paid for a Friday night

I didn’t need anything except a clean bed and shower and the mall to kill a couple of hours and grab a bite. Asked for a noon check out which was accommodated

The room was clean but very basic, old furnished. The main sat back is the status of the building and corridors as well as the long journey it take to get to the room, especially when carrying a suitcase.

I highly appreciated the staff from Boss Boutique Athens for their helpfulness and friendliness. We had a trouble with our rental car and their staff/ manager were willing to go beyond and help us in resolving the issue

It’s budget hotel with a twist. Part, is that they charge for the water/coffee (no tea!?) in the room and the coffee in the breakfast is awful. Unless you pay for it , other than that it’s cute hotel with great balconies

It’s a wonderful hotel🤩 The staff are really wonderful, each and everyone of them, from Esther the manager, trough Vasilis at the reservation, the reception always helpful smiling staff, the room cleaners and really amazing Despina and her colleagues at the restaurant, they are all there to make your stay a homely and pleasant time

The rooms are all large, modern, immaculate clean as well as the large comfortable balconies. The breakfast is really tasty and has large variety and very good coffees

We stayed at Athenian Riviera Hotel & Suites for our wedding weekend, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place! 💍✨ From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, not only for us, but also for all of our guests who travelled from different parts of the world

The location is the best there is in a peaceful neighborhood of beautiful Vouligmeni, beneath a lovely pine little forest, parking is always available and the benefit of the 3 minutes walking to the fantastic beach just 200 meters

Very friendly service, clean and nice relaxed vibe to the dining/lounge and pool areas. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and local eateries that were good value. We had two rooms and that were spacious and quiet.

I can't say that the hotel lacks anything. Very good rooms but above all spotlessly clean. The breakfast it offers is also rich and with a unique view of the Acropolis. I will prefer it in every stay I have in Athens

Centrally located to everything! Absolutely breathtaking view from our private balcony of the Acropolis! Our first night we were still adjusting to the time difference, so we asked the gentleman at the lobby desk where we could get a bottle of wine

He went upstairs and got a wonderful bottle of Red, 2 glasses, an opener, and a small dish of nuts

The only downsides were some unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom at times and significant noise from outside, likely from an AC or mechanical unit, which could be disturbing, especially during the night

That said, aside from these issues, the hotel delivers good comfort, great service, and a warm atmosphere. With a bit of improvement on the noise and bathroom ventilation, it would be an excellent stay

The apartment is one room with two beds, each bed is for two people, the staff are nice and they try to do everything they can for the comfort of the guests, also the manager is humble and kind, we had a good time in it, there are almost all the shops that the tourist needs are close to the apartment, but the nearest metro station is far away 17 minutes, and there is no bus to go to the station, but...

Great place to stay 5 min to the acropolis and shopping and dinner. They were so helpful on our stay because we had to switch hotels on our last evening due to road closures due to a big biking event

The Ava Hotel was in a perfect location adjacent to shopping and the Acropolis. We thought the hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were eager to please.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the bnb for a couple of nights, the place was perfect. Perfect location, never used public transports, room was fresh with air-conditioning and without at night

The hotel is great first of all comfortable and beautiful rooms equipped with every comfort (including air conditioning which is life in the current weather) we had a nice and spacious balcony and we used the pool on the terrace several times: enjoyed the beautiful view, swam and sipped cocktail is just amazing

Clean, modern hotel with basic rooms. Located close to metro station. Pleasent stay, but definitely not 5*. Cheap and low quality cosmetics, many single-use and plastic items in the room which isn't exactly "green"
