I would like to extend a special thank you to your concierge, Xenia, who was incredibly helpful with every question and request. Her professionalism and attentiveness truly enhanced my stay
Divani Caravel Hotel delivered a genuine 5-star experience right in the heart of Athens. The hotel is big, spacious, and elegant, offering a very comfortable and luxurious stay
I stayed a total of 5 days in between tours. If had to find any improvement, maybe have a bidet in every toilet. But overall, I recommend this hotel. Close enough to city centre via subway or €8-10taxi
I requested a special surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday at midnight, and the team organized everything perfectly exactly as expected. The attention to detail and care made the moment truly special
Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options, the staff were friendly and professional, and the small Christmas gift was a lovely and thoughtful touch
We had the most enjoyable stay at the Divani caravel. It’s is a 5min drive from the centre of Athens and has nice coffee shops nearby. The rooftop pool is beautiful with great views of the city and the Parthenon
Athens, 385 Syngrou Avenue (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
If you do the: hop on hop off busses,as we are there is a stop in front for the 2 main companies (we prefer the big bus brand)
If you're going to Athens, the Athens Marriott is a nice place to come home to after a full day of being a tourist
Although I must suggest that you leave the food out until the stated time. Breakfast is amazing! We thought so and I overheard another guest describe it as the best he's ever had in a hotel
The Athens Marriott is a beautiful hotel, but what truly makes it unforgettable is the service and staff. From the moment I arrived, Mary Ann went above and beyond to make me feel welcome
Together, Mary Ann, Nikos and Harry exemplify the high standards and hospitality that make the Athens Marriott stand out among the best hotels in the world
She has that rare gift of making guests feel like family, always greeting everyone with a sincere smile and anticipating needs before you even have to ask
She is, without a doubt, the heart of the Athens Marriott. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made every interaction a joy
Athens, 10 Ag. Nikolaou & Iliou Str. (17 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.
This is the second stay for our family at this hotel and once again it exceeded our expectations. On arrival, the porters assisted us with our luggage, the staff at the front desk were welcoming and made checkin simple
It's in a very good location, clean, the breakfast has a great variety, and the staff are friendly. However, the free swimming pool is cold; it's impossible to use it in winter.
They welcome you with genuine smiles and are ever prepared to fulfill any need. The accommodations are exquisitely adorned, offering a seamless combination of coziness and opulence
The service throughout my stay was exceptional, every staff member was welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure my experience was seamless
Athens, 2, Megalou Alexandrou St. (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It is located not far away from the metro station. The room is clean and spacious. The breakfast is bountiful and delicious. The WiFi connection is stable. The view of the Acropolis is spectacular!
Beautiful if small rooftop pool. Highest recommendation for this hotel. Convenient for Hop on Hop Off buses
Honestly I wouldn't recommend this hotel (not sure how it got the rating it did) based if nothing else on the ridiculous bathroom - $179 a night for a room where you can't open the bathroom door and walk into the room, you have to edge your way in and close the door to access the shower, and where the shower is so close to the sink and door you can't get to the sink if either the door is open or the...
All ok apart from some staff didn’t speak any English almost so difficult to communicate
The hotel is very clam and nice. We love it
However, there was a slight downside as the soundproofing could be improved, especially noticeable with noises from the corridor getting into the room
Athens, 40 Apollonos Street, Vuliagmeni (19 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Incomparable level of service and quality of goods and services! Magnificent view of the sea! The staff is well trained, educated and polite! Wide range of cocktails and drinks while you have more than 4 different cuisines to choose from if you want to enjoy your lunch or dinner! I’m a regular customer there and every time I get the same level of hospitality and service!
Excellent, really great! The only downside was the weather wasn't warm enough for a swim in the sea.
However, in the off-season, the prices are much more affordable and the experience is even better, though you won't be able to enjoy water activities
Would highly recommend! Beautiful marina with upscale shopping just a short golf cart trip away! Fine dining right on site. Enjoy seafood, melt in your mouth steaks, and delicious fresh sushi! Stay at this Four Seasons
The room faces the sea, and having a balcony is really nice.
The first room lacked basic seating and space for luggage; the second was better with a table and two chairs, but still odd setting for a luxury hotel
Athens, 19 25 Parthenonos St (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We stayed at the hotel during the off-season and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the Acropolis and many attractions
This is by far the most luxurious hotel I have ever been to. With a surreal view of my favorite Acropolis. The service is perfect, the staff is friendly, the food is of the highest quality and the rooms are perfect
Everything was good, starting with their warm welcome, to their extraordinary hospitality, the service was great, the hotel is beautiful, its location is perfect near everything, we just walked to all touristic places
🧼 Cleanness:
Very clean room and quick house keeping services 👌. 👔 Services:
Over all the services are great 👍 👌 and fast. 🛫 Are you traveling for business or entertainment this hotel is great option
The room was very clean, they also have a pillow menu for free where u can choose the pillow that you like. The breakfast was very variable, an open buffet with lots of choices
We had great time at this hotel, I recommend it 100%. Not to forget the restaurant at the rooftop where we had dinner, a very nice gastronomic experience
Athens, Attica Avenue 40.2 Km (12 km from centre) 🧭 Map
From the moment of arrival, the experience feels seamless and thoughtfully managed; perfect for those arriving late, departing early, or simply wanting an stress-free stopover
Combined with its convenient location just minutes from the airport, and an efficient, courteous shuttle service with excellent drivers, the Holiday Inn Athens Airport is a dependable and enjoyable choice for any traveler passing through Athens
They offer airport transportation shuttle service. There’s a gas station/cafe right cross the parking lot that sells food & snacks which much cheaper than the hotel. The king room standard I selected was very spacious
The beds are small but comfortable, and amenities such as in-room coffee, reliable Wi-Fi, and good soundproofing make it easy to relax and recharge. The staff deserve special mention
Whether at reception, in the restaurant, or during the shuttle service, their warm and accommodating attitude added a genuine touch of Greek hospitality to our stay
Every team member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and professional, going out of their way to make guests feel welcome and well looked after
Athens, 87-89 Alexandras Avenue (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
there was lots of good restaurants and bars near by but was a 40 min walk to down town or a 10 Uber ride but the hotel was clean friendly good food great balcony rooms Most of all we eere back early 10 am from our cruise and they had our rooms ready by 11 for our whole tour group this was amazing !!
A 3-star hotel, the air conditioner needs service (constant squeaking), beds are old and hard, no early check-in, this hotel used for tour groups so the waiting area is constantly full with no seating
The Zafolia Hotel in Athens offers a seamless blend of classic comfort, professional service, and an enviable location just outside the city’s most tourist-heavy zones
It doesn't try to compete with boutique trends — instead, it exudes a quiet sophistication that appeals to mature travelers, couples, and conference guests alike
Stayed for 3 nights as part of a coach tour. Hotel is on a very busy city street with cafes, supermarkets and a few bars nearby. Check in was fast and efficient. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the street
There was road noise constantly but not as bad could've been expected. The room was standard sized and the bed was reasonably comfortable if a little tired. Hallway carpets were worn and stained
Athens, 4-6 Michail Voda Street (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The buffet breakfast is good value with a great selection to choose from, although I found the hot food cold, I still ate it as I'm not fussy but the wife didn't. The room service food was awesome and big portions
Good hotel for families with kids. It's a bit less than half an hour's walk to Syntagma Square, but it doesn't feel like a long trek
The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, modern, with a great rooftop restaurant and pool with great views of the Acropolis, especially when lit up at night
There's a nice Cafe next door if you fancy a change for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also a good freshly made pizza takeaway shop across the road. I would recommend this hotel 🏨 if you don't mind the surrounding area
Novotel usually offers good value for money, which is why I often choose this chain when I travel to different European countries
Rooms were clean and pretty comfortable. Funny they provide drinking water as welcome drink and not on daily basis whereas they will replenish the mini bar daily for free
Athens, Kleomenous 2, Kolonaki (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Nice hotel with great views from the dining room and roof top pool of the Acropolis. Excellent food in restaurant and wide selection for breakfast buffet
Unwind from today's fatigue and embrace a soft night's sleep. Good night, may your dreams come true.
Wonderful hotel with plenty of entertainment around the restaurant, bar, and open-air cinema! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant in the evening. It was delicious, and the view of the Acropolis was stunning
It was a real nightmare; it's inconceivable that a 5-star hotel would allow something like this. We reported the problem to the front desk, and they were well aware of it
You get one free non alcoholic drink and towels with your fee, and the staff is wonderful. You can order food by the pool, and they come around and give you all the water you can drink. The food was delicious as well
This is the second time that I am staying at Saint George Lycabettus and as always the stay was exceptional. Great customer service, helpful and professional staff, comfortable room and perfect location!
Athens, Michalakopoulou 50, Athina (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Nice hotel selected by our tour group. Room was a little tight but nice. Lobby and bar area is spacious. Breakfast area had a great view. Close to a 24 hr supermarket, pharmacy, bakeries and good restaurants
I loved the breakfast buffet with fresh squeezed orange juice and eggs to order. I would recommend this hotel to others visiting Athens Greece
Great hotel. Had to get used to the half shower wall. Everything else was above average.
Friendly and helpful staff. Room doors stay open, are not spring loaded to close.
Outstanding hotel in a great area. The rooms have new TVs and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed having a big shower with great lighting. The hair dryer is modern too
The location is excellent: close to a metro station, making it easy to reach the entire city. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub instead of a shower, which makes showering less comfortable
Piraeus, 93 Iroon Polytechniou Ave (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
We arrived late at night and in the room were snacks and small bottle of wine which was a perfect way to end the evening after a long flight! Room was clean, breakfast had many food choices and the staff was cheerful
Great location, nice staff and the parking is a big plus. The hotel is clean and the rooms large. It could do with a few cosmetic improvements and refurbishment but the ratio quality/price is one of the best
From the attendant that open the elevator door to the prompt ,room service. Bottle of wine delivered with beautiful big glasses. Complimentary nuts and chocolate. Spectacular sunset from our balcony
We got to the hotel early and the front desk accommodated my husband and I by allowing us to check in early so we can rest. The hotel is near the cruise terminals which was also convenient
Woke up to a bit of rain and they had umbrellas to take on our tour Athens
The breakfast is ok, not the main asset but the staff really kind
Athens, Litous 11, 16671 Vari-Vula-Vuljagmeni, Gretsiya (18 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We stayed one night at the Margi to be close to the airport for a flight to Santorini. The pool area is excellent, the dining on site was really nice with outstanding wait staff and gourmet meals
All boxes get ticked from 5 star amenities to incredible service, attention to detail, turn down service, glass bottle spring water, perfect breakfast with a huge selection and even a la carte
One of my favourite hotels ever! Nice boutique hotel with amazing amenities in an ideal location. The pool area is what you see when you arrive. The rooms are well kept and nicely stocked with comfort food and drink
My favourite hotel in Athens, by far. I love everything about this hotel from staff friendliness, courtesy, professionalism to the incredible breakfast and excellent restaurants. The spa, sauna and gym are perfect
The spa is included and is a quiet sanctuary not to be missed. Located in the lovely Athenian suburb of Voulemani, beaches are just a short walk away as is the spectacular marina
It is a great place to stay in it’s own right but for us it provided a nice stopping off point after a long airline flight prior to further travels starting at the cruise ship port
Piraeus, 23 Karaoli & Dimitriou Street (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The breakfast is generous and varied, the rooms are spacious and warm—an important detail, especially when traveling near Christmas. The hotel staff is extremely kind and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant
A big plus for those arriving by car is the underground parking, which adds real comfort and peace of mind
And one remark about the price: I had tried to book through a well-known platform and the price (supposedly a special offer) I received turned out to be at least 20 euros more expensive! Fortunately for us, as it wasn't certain whether we would stay overnight in Piraeus, I preferred not to make an online reservation, and I think I probably never will again!
Theoxenia Palace Piraeus is a great choice for a successful city trip. The location is very convenient, close to everything you might need
The bathroom was quite good, clean, and provided everything needed for hassle-free and enjoyable use (three types of shampoo for hair and body, lotion, bathroom slippers, clean and relatively new towels, cotton swabs, etc
And all of this at a price that, when it was told to me at reception, I thought it must be a numerical mistake and I had to have them confirm it to be convinced I had heard the requested amount correctly
Athens, 4 Rovertou Galli Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel boasts a prime location near Acropolis, making it easy to explore. The on-site restaurant offers delicious cuisine, enhancing the overall experience in Athens.
The lobby on the first floor is neatly and warmly decorated. The rooms are European-style in size, but clean and adequate. The staff are all very friendly and helpful
Additionally, the airport transfer service provided by the hotel was excellent, with a great driver and high-quality vehicle, making us feel truly cared for
The hotel terrace offers a stunning night view of the Acropolis (there's even a hot tub, though we couldn't try it this time as we didn't bring swimwear)
This is the most hospitable hotel I've stayed at in Europe, leaving a perfect impression for my husband and me on our first visit to Athens
The staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for local Greek food and bars to visit
Athens, Leof. Poseidonos 35, 17561 Palaio Faliro, Gretsiya (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The facilities are relatively old and there is a strong smell of disinfectant in the room. But in front of the unbeatable sea view, these are acceptable
It's in a great spot, with the sea and a small pebble beach at the doorstep. The area is nice enough, with some good restaurants and shopping (including supermarkets) around
The rooms are good, though not the most soundproof you will ever have. Great breakfast in a newly renovated room. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and are the biggest asset of the hotel by far
I found this to be a perfect choice for a few days before boarding a cruise. The hotel has a shuttle to the busier parts of Athens and to a private beach. The rooms were clean and well maintained
An incredibly beautiful getaway spot. You really feel like at home with its warm and friendly staff. The location is really comfortable for summer and winter. The view is amazing It's beautiful
This is my go to place when visiting Athens. I've been here a number of times throughout the years and the Coral hotel continues to surprise and deliver above and beyond
Athens, 19 Patission & 10 Veranzerou St (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The rooftop restaurant view was good, but the food itself was not as good for the price. We had the Prawns and Salmon and it was tasteless. We didn't go up there again after the trail throughout our 7 nights stay
The breakfast was very rich with a wide variety. The staff were warm and friendly.
The check-in was very warm and speedy. Hotel itself was just a few minutes walk from the Rail station in Omonia Station. The Duo at the reception were very friendly and warm, always smiling and saying hello
We stayed post-celestyal cruise. The view from the rooftop restaurant was great. The food was excellent, including staff interactions. Answering whatever questions we had even seeking out the answers if they didn't know
We were only there for one night before leaving on a cruise, but overall I was very happy with our stay. The front desk check in was excellent and the breakfast spread was outstanding
Our first trip to Europe, so there were things that I imagine are very European. Tiny elevators and key card access to power your room were a first for us
The staff were very friendly and helped me find a Covid test and order a taxi. They supported us throughout our stay and were able to inform us of our surroundings - very reliable and pleasant
Very close to the Metro station and easy to arrive from the airport. Staff was very professional and welcoming. The room was very clean and a very comfortable bed
Good rooms, not too big but it's ok if you are not spending too much time at the hotel. Not the great location but overall it's safe.
It's a prime location, and the outdoor restaurant and bar on the first floor offer excellent value.
The three single beds, including mine, and the sumptuous, delicious breakfast were impressive.
One of the good and cost-effective hotels in a very central location, highly recommended.
Average breakfast. Rooms are a little small but not tiny. Good price for location.
Staff is polite and amazing.
Athens, 8 Timoleontos Vassous Street (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is not in the heart of downtown, but its location is still convenient, with the Syntagma Square, Hellenic Parliament, and National Garden just a half-hour walk away, and only a 15-minute walk to the Lycabettus Hill
The only negative was that the internet/wireless was not very strong in the room that we were assigned which was frustrating. All in all, an excellent hotel that combines comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality
The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, but one person deserves special mention - Vangelis, whose kindness and attention to detail truly stood out, making our stay memorable
The staff was amazing very accommodating to our every need. Very clean and I really loved the bright and fun motif of the hotel. Especially the roof top beach and restaurant
Breakfast was fresh, varied, and satisfying. The hotel rooftop restaurant has excellent food at very reasonable prices, with quick and friendly service
We didn’t use the beach facilities because of the weather but we dined at the restaurant good food and excellent service. I Would definitely recommend and would stay there again
Athens, 114 Michalakopoulou Str (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Plus the sealment had green mould on it around the bathtub so you need to look into this. Breakfast was good but not as excellent at Airotel Achaia Beach in Patras
The hotel is absolutely hailed for its impeccable cleanliness and great staff service and in addition, wide variety of breakfast. A little far from the subway, about 15 mins’ away but very satisfied overall with the stay
Very conveniently located in the city. Less than 10min walk to subway station. Super nice staff in the hotel. We stayed for four nights and had some problems with our first room
Very good service, with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.
The rooms are in excellent condition, and the breakfast is excellent. Above all, the front desk staff are incredibly friendly, and the hotel is located in a quiet area
I’m not writing this to say that she or other workers should take this as room service responsibilities nor to encourage others to expect such during your hotel stays
