Divani Caravel Hotel delivered a genuine 5-star experience right in the heart of Athens. The hotel is big, spacious, and elegant, offering a very comfortable and luxurious stay

I stayed a total of 5 days in between tours. If had to find any improvement, maybe have a bidet in every toilet. But overall, I recommend this hotel. Close enough to city centre via subway or €8-10taxi

I requested a special surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday at midnight, and the team organized everything perfectly exactly as expected. The attention to detail and care made the moment truly special

Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options, the staff were friendly and professional, and the small Christmas gift was a lovely and thoughtful touch

We had the most enjoyable stay at the Divani caravel. It’s is a 5min drive from the centre of Athens and has nice coffee shops nearby. The rooftop pool is beautiful with great views of the city and the Parthenon

If you do the: hop on hop off busses,as we are there is a stop in front for the 2 main companies (we prefer the big bus brand) If you're going to Athens, the Athens Marriott is a nice place to come home to after a full day of being a tourist

Although I must suggest that you leave the food out until the stated time. Breakfast is amazing! We thought so and I overheard another guest describe it as the best he's ever had in a hotel

Incomparable level of service and quality of goods and services! Magnificent view of the sea! The staff is well trained, educated and polite! Wide range of cocktails and drinks while you have more than 4 different cuisines to choose from if you want to enjoy your lunch or dinner! I’m a regular customer there and every time I get the same level of hospitality and service!

Excellent, really great! The only downside was the weather wasn't warm enough for a swim in the sea.

However, in the off-season, the prices are much more affordable and the experience is even better, though you won't be able to enjoy water activities

Would highly recommend! Beautiful marina with upscale shopping just a short golf cart trip away! Fine dining right on site. Enjoy seafood, melt in your mouth steaks, and delicious fresh sushi! Stay at this Four Seasons

The room faces the sea, and having a balcony is really nice.

The first room lacked basic seating and space for luggage; the second was better with a table and two chairs, but still odd setting for a luxury hotel

The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.

This is the second stay for our family at this hotel and once again it exceeded our expectations. On arrival, the porters assisted us with our luggage, the staff at the front desk were welcoming and made checkin simple

It's in a very good location, clean, the breakfast has a great variety, and the staff are friendly. However, the free swimming pool is cold; it's impossible to use it in winter.

The buffet breakfast is good value with a great selection to choose from, although I found the hot food cold, I still ate it as I'm not fussy but the wife didn't. The room service food was awesome and big portions

Good hotel for families with kids. It's a bit less than half an hour's walk to Syntagma Square, but it doesn't feel like a long trek

The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, modern, with a great rooftop restaurant and pool with great views of the Acropolis, especially when lit up at night

There's a nice Cafe next door if you fancy a change for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also a good freshly made pizza takeaway shop across the road. I would recommend this hotel 🏨 if you don't mind the surrounding area

Novotel usually offers good value for money, which is why I often choose this chain when I travel to different European countries

Rooms were clean and pretty comfortable. Funny they provide drinking water as welcome drink and not on daily basis whereas they will replenish the mini bar daily for free

It is located not far away from the metro station. The room is clean and spacious. The breakfast is bountiful and delicious. The WiFi connection is stable. The view of the Acropolis is spectacular!

Honestly I wouldn't recommend this hotel (not sure how it got the rating it did) based if nothing else on the ridiculous bathroom - $179 a night for a room where you can't open the bathroom door and walk into the room, you have to edge your way in and close the door to access the shower, and where the shower is so close to the sink and door you can't get to the sink if either the door is open or the...

All ok apart from some staff didn’t speak any English almost so difficult to communicate

The hotel is very clam and nice. We love it

However, there was a slight downside as the soundproofing could be improved, especially noticeable with noises from the corridor getting into the room

We stayed at the hotel during the off-season and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the Acropolis and many attractions

This is by far the most luxurious hotel I have ever been to. With a surreal view of my favorite Acropolis. The service is perfect, the staff is friendly, the food is of the highest quality and the rooms are perfect

The room was very clean, they also have a pillow menu for free where u can choose the pillow that you like. The breakfast was very variable, an open buffet with lots of choices

Nice hotel selected by our tour group. Room was a little tight but nice. Lobby and bar area is spacious. Breakfast area had a great view. Close to a 24 hr supermarket, pharmacy, bakeries and good restaurants

They offer airport transportation shuttle service. There’s a gas station/cafe right cross the parking lot that sells food & snacks which much cheaper than the hotel. The king room standard I selected was very spacious

We booked a room but couldn't make it due to delays. They did a free cancellation and when we arrived the day after we could make use of the shower and Pool against a small fee. The people are super friendly and gentle

Very clean and tidy bedrooms with very comfy beds and clean sheets, also there is excellent air conditioning, nice enough bathroom with great shower. Rooftop area and pool were very nice with an ever present lifeguard

Also the Hotel is well situated on the X96 bus route from the Airport and A1 to Piraeus and A2 to the Acropolis. Didn’t try the buffet breakfast as there are various eateries in Glyfada centre

Checkout at 12 is huge benefit, you can also take a shower after coming back from the beach before heading to the airport. 5min to the beach that is not so overcrowded as others in this area

Room was okay, just the bathroom needs really improvement. Pool on the top is great for a quick cool down, but it is pretty small for swimming :)

Both pool and beach towels are provided daily. Only downside would be the busy main road the hotel is situated on but that isn’t a major issue

there was lots of good restaurants and bars near by but was a 40 min walk to down town or a 10 Uber ride but the hotel was clean friendly good food great balcony rooms Most of all we eere back early 10 am from our cruise and they had our rooms ready by 11 for our whole tour group this was amazing !!

A 3-star hotel, the air conditioner needs service (constant squeaking), beds are old and hard, no early check-in, this hotel used for tour groups so the waiting area is constantly full with no seating

Stayed for 3 nights as part of a coach tour. Hotel is on a very busy city street with cafes, supermarkets and a few bars nearby. Check in was fast and efficient. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the street

There was road noise constantly but not as bad could've been expected. The room was standard sized and the bed was reasonably comfortable if a little tired. Hallway carpets were worn and stained

Wonderful hotel with plenty of entertainment around the restaurant, bar, and open-air cinema! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant in the evening. It was delicious, and the view of the Acropolis was stunning

It was a real nightmare; it's inconceivable that a 5-star hotel would allow something like this. We reported the problem to the front desk, and they were well aware of it

You get one free non alcoholic drink and towels with your fee, and the staff is wonderful. You can order food by the pool, and they come around and give you all the water you can drink. The food was delicious as well

The pool on the roof is perfect, beautifull view from rooftop, breakfast is also excellent, staff is very friendly. The beds room were very clean, the shower good be done cleaner. But in total a very good hotel

We had one the best fried calamari there. We were in the rooftop bar and even though the calamari were from the restaurant, we asked if it was possible to bring the dish to the rooftop and they gladly did it

Great hotel in a good location. Near the beach and the the tram. We could go to acropoli in 30-40 minutes directly from there. The room was clean and modern. They also provided some useful hygiene packets

Breakfast itself was delicious and plentiful, though it could use a little more attention from staff. Tables weren’t cleaned as quickly as expected, and fresh eggs didn’t always come out fast enough

We stayed two nights but never managed to try the banitsa, as the small plates disappeared the moment they were brought out. A bit more assistance here would make the experience perfect

More like a motel than a proper hotel. Location is excellent, directly next to the seaside (1 min walk). Very bad experience waiting for 2 hours to check in

It is also close to the commercial street and it is very convenient to buy food and go shopping. The hotel customer service Christina and Julia are warm and thoughtful. I will choose this place again next time I go there

The location of the house is very good. It is on the street of Glyfada. The beach is just across the road and you can go swimming

My only wish was for a table and chairs on the balcony to sit in the evening and a rail for hanging long dresses, however I utilised the rail in the bathroom so its not issue, you just adapt to whatever situation you are in and make the most of it

Very friendly stuff and courtesy. The stuff made our stay so comfortable. We had out room cleaned everyday. We become friends with few of the ladies, especially Irene she was so outgoing and friendly and upbeat

Ok so you may need some ear plugs if Yr a light sleeper but you will find most of the hotels on the main road are like that. I'm a very light sleeper but was able to sleep fine

This hotel wasnt our first choice but we got let down 24 hrs beforehand by the apartment we had booked and this was picked for us by our travel providers

We stayed one night at the Margi to be close to the airport for a flight to Santorini. The pool area is excellent, the dining on site was really nice with outstanding wait staff and gourmet meals

The spa is included and is a quiet sanctuary not to be missed. Located in the lovely Athenian suburb of Voulemani, beaches are just a short walk away as is the spectacular marina

It is a great place to stay in it’s own right but for us it provided a nice stopping off point after a long airline flight prior to further travels starting at the cruise ship port

Very nice hotel, great restaurants and plaza just two blocks away, many people walking and dining at night, only thing is it does take about 50 mins to get to Monasteriki square by public transport

It is a bit off the beaten track but was perfect for our purposes which was to visit the Olympic Stadium approx 1. There are numerous great cafes and restaurant within 500 yards of the hotel
