We were in February 2019 due to the transfer of the flight of Aegean Airlines, the company paid for this hotel with dinner and breakfast for all passengers and we were lucky to spend the night here for one night

Divani Caravel Hotel delivered a genuine 5-star experience right in the heart of Athens. The hotel is big, spacious, and elegant, offering a very comfortable and luxurious stay

I requested a special surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday at midnight, and the team organized everything perfectly exactly as expected. The attention to detail and care made the moment truly special

The hotel is located about 10 minute taxi ride outside of Athens but as a result it has the most stunning views of the entire city particularly the puffin on from its night story restaurant

It’s a five star hotel with a paralleled access to swimming pools and luxuries that are not common in Athens hotels I highly recommend staying here

The hallways are a bit confusing to navigate, and the layout feels a little strange, but the rooftop pool offers a view of the Acropolis

Plus, the infinity pool on the rooftop is perfect for photos! Probably because there are so many guests (and many rooms), after calling the front desk, service takes a long time to arrive (sometimes I even had to directly ask a housekeeper in the hallway for what I needed)

The towels in the room were also very dirty, and the bed sheets felt damp. I definitely do not recommend this hotel

The new refurbished rooms are top standard compared to the other InterContinental's I've stayed at. The pool was too cold to use, but was October

High standard service. Professional chain brand hotel. Breakfast was nice. A lot of options. Rooms spacious and bed very comfortable. It was just that the hotel is very old, needs a renovation.

The universal adapter I brought didn't work in the room, but luckily, I was able to borrow one from the business center. Breakfast was decent, and it's about a 20-minute walk to the Acropolis

I recently attended a corporate event at the InterContinental Athenaeum Athens by IHG. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t comment on the rooms, but the hotel itself made a strong impression

Facilities: Hahahahahahahahaha (This part seems to be an expression of amusement, rather than a direct comment on facilities, so I'm leaving it as is to preserve the original sentiment

All aspects were taken care of by their professional team. Breakfast was very good, a lot of options. Although their hardware, like furnitures, were like 20+ years old

Lots of towels, robes and slippers. Very nice sized frig and housekeeping was very good. For qualifying members, food and service was terrific daily

If you do the: hop on hop off busses,as we are there is a stop in front for the 2 main companies (we prefer the big bus brand) If you're going to Athens, the Athens Marriott is a nice place to come home to after a full day of being a tourist

Although I must suggest that you leave the food out until the stated time. Breakfast is amazing! We thought so and I overheard another guest describe it as the best he's ever had in a hotel

Most convenient airport hotel by far ,walk across the street from arrivals, no shuttle or taxi needed. Metro/Rail connection also right there. Excellent facilities including spa, pool, restaurants

The bathtub was contained inside the shower cabin, and the water pressure of the rain and hand showers was great

Perfect location if you have a flight earlier in the morning. Room clean and very comfy.

The subway entrance right downstairs is super convenient, with direct lines to all the major attractions. The blankets and towels had a weird smell – both fragrant and stinky at the same time

We got the junior suite for our family of 4. The room was quite spacious and the kids loved the jacuzzi bathtub. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location was also great with the subway just outside

This is one of those grand old five-star hotels. The service is truly five star. The bathroom room was spacious while the room was small but very ornate. The facility was very convenient for our meeting

Absolutely perfect hotel! The rooms are beautiful and the facilities are brand new. There are three private beaches, a heated indoor pool, and an outdoor pool

To the left is the pool, and to the right is the Aegean Sea – simply stunning! The breakfast is amazing, and they even offer free electric bicycles

However, in the off-season, the prices are much more affordable and the experience is even better, though you won't be able to enjoy water activities

Nice hotel located in Vougliameni. WiFi works fine across the whole hotel. Plenty of restaurants in the surroundings. Has its own private beach and nice pools. You can also take the city’s buses

The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend this hotel (not sure how it got the rating it did) based if nothing else on the ridiculous bathroom - $179 a night for a room where you can't open the bathroom door and walk into the room, you have to edge your way in and close the door to access the shower, and where the shower is so close to the sink and door you can't get to the sink if either the door is open or the...

They were super helpful and supportive. Thank you to all of them for making my visit unforgettable—I can’t wait to return!

All ok apart from some staff didn’t speak any English almost so difficult to communicate

If you’re looking for a memorable stay in Athens, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s truly a gem, made even better by the incredible team that ensures each guest feels valued

It was probably an excellent property forty years ago; today it performs well mainly thanks to the staff. The food at the rooftop restaurant, which is also where breakfast is served, is very good

Recommend going during the summer months. The off season is usually their time to conduct maintenance on the historical structures. Scaffolding blocks some views

There is a bar and a small pool on the top floor roof garden, but I didn't get to visit since I was there the first days of January. I also didn't get to use the spa facilities, but I plan to do so on my next stay

Cleaning every day with change of bed linen and towels. Varied continental breakfast, cozy lobby, free transfer to the airport every hour. 24-hour bus to the center of Athens every 10 minutes for 6 euros

They offer airport transportation shuttle service. There’s a gas station/cafe right cross the parking lot that sells food & snacks which much cheaper than the hotel. The king room standard I selected was very spacious

The bathroom was a decent size as well. Overall I recommend this hotel & I would stay here again

We booked a room but couldn't make it due to delays. They did a free cancellation and when we arrived the day after we could make use of the shower and Pool against a small fee. The people are super friendly and gentle

Checkout at 12 is huge benefit, you can also take a shower after coming back from the beach before heading to the airport. 5min to the beach that is not so overcrowded as others in this area

5 minute walk to the nearest beach and just over 5 minute walk to Glyfada centre with its numerous high end shops and restaurants

Definitely go up there! Rooftop pool was above average size for a rooftop pool, especially in an archaeological gem like Athens (considering how close the hotel is to the Acropolis). Will stay again on our next visit!

The only downside was that the selection of hot breakfast items was somewhat limited. It would be wonderful if the hotel could add a live cooking or made-to-order station to further enhance the overall experience
