Staying here is inexpensive and on the coast. We started in a large three bedroom with no view which was more expensive than the ocean view. We changed to the ocean view that was wonderful. Unfortunately the beds are not that comfortable but tolerable.

For 50 euros a night with a view of the sea, it was definitely worth it, but I wouldn’t pay more. The interior is very old, and the sink in the bathroom was hanging as if it was going to fall at any moment. One good point is that the check out is at 12 that was very convenient.

The hotel is not far from the port - 15 minutes walk-but you still need a taxi to get to the major passenger cruise line (like Holland America, etc) as the port is huge. Me and my friend were there for night there. We felt like home from the first moment. Reception staff was amazing. I loved that we got some candies as a welcome in the room. The staff was really nice, our flight was delayed and we had to check in really late, they were still super kind. However, the A/C in the room where our kids were meant to sleep was broken. The front desk person came in, tried to fix it, and then said “it’s dead.” My husband then had to suggest moving the cot into the main room. Perfect location, right in the heart of Psyrri. The hotel has an amazing rooftop with views of the Acropolis (and some rooms share that same view). The staff was always very friendly. We liked it so much that we came back: we stayed here for a few days in Athens, then went to Kefalonia, and when we returned by ferry, we chose to spend our last night here before flying out of Athens.

I had to quickly find a hotel in Piraeus on Saturday night, coming over form Naxos, as my husband had been taken to a nearby hospital.
