I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Pros: The hotel is beautiful inside, newly renovated, and has a very nice design. The view of the Acropolis from the upper floor is amazing. Cons: 1. The gym is extremely limited – there are only two treadmills, a rowing machine, and some dumbbells. I expected much more. 2. What really ruined my stay, was the hotel’s location. The surrounding area is full...
Skylark Hotel Athens offers a generally positive stay, with a few aspects worth highlighting. The hotel, which previously operated under the Brown brand, has retained much of its boutique, design-led style, creating a pleasant and contemporary atmosphere throughout the property. Its location works well for visiting central Athens, and overall it represents fairly good value for the price segment. The...
My wash room when I use for shower or basin always leak water to bedroom.
The hotel is excellent! Excellent service, beautifully decorated, lovely staff, but the hotel is located in a less pleasant area (it didn't bother me as much). Great pool and restaurant on the roof!
The guest relation manager John iş the best told him it was my mama birthday he organized it amazing gifted us two bottles of wine and macarons . Even write a handwritten letter, very cute thank you. The hotel breakfast was bomb , pool is small not like in the pictures . Room amazing stylish , fancy . Everything great . Thanks John
Really nice stay at this hotel. The location is perfect - the breakfast really good quality. Air con :) Fitness center good. Roof top pool small but nice when the weather is really hot. We really enjoy our stay.

Hotel was great, basic rooms, but very clean and not expensive. Owner was very chill and helpful, however, breakfast was not so great.
Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff and a 24-hour reception, which was a lifesaver for my last-minute late check-in. Good location for those traveling by car. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and the cozy terrace was a nice touch. It’s also dog-friendly, which was perfect since we were traveling with our pup. Great experience overall!
Comfortable hotel. Friendly, kind staff. Close to the freeway and on the way from ATH to Delphi!
I can’t say how happy I am that my family and I have chosen to stay here. Let me start by saying the location is perfect. You feel at home here. Had a very hard time choosing a location in Athens since our bus got to Athens at 1:30am and we needed a hotel quick and the streets of Athens did not feel safe at that time trying to find a hotel. I called Hotel Chris at 2am and they answered the phone and...
Chris’s place is in fabulous surroundings of Kifissia, the most attractive neighborhood in northern suburb of Athens. Every morning you open the windows and you see beautiful trees and lovely houses. Inside you have real wooden furniture with nice color, the bathroom is also very clean. The breakfast is wonderful as well! You just have to make sure that if you travel alone, the taxi from Kifissia...
We choose this hotel because we wanted a location near the Eurohoops Dome where it was a basketball competition and was the best choice we could take. The hotel is very, very clean and cozy. In the Atenian hot days here is a refreshing place with a lot of green plants around. We had a room with jacuzzi and it was very funny. It worked well. Very good services and friendly stuff. Good value price/service

All nice..exept shower needs attention...no screen All water comes out it flood's the place.and makes the very slippery very unsafe, Everyone is saying the some thing on the comments... And rooms need hot water kettel To make coffee or tea....
Arrived in the early hours by bus from the airport, stops like 5 min walk from hotel and the reception is amazing, the rooms are absolutely great for what they charge. Only little point, would be great to have a shower cabin or at least a curtain.
Wish I had booked more nights here! Front desk is amazing. Better than hostels that I've stayed at, for roughly the same price. That said, if you're comparing to a hostel, you'll be impressed. If you're expecting a luxury hotel, you might not be. Private room with working air-conditioning and comfy pillows. The toilet flushes a little funky--you need to use a water bucket to aid flushing. Also, there...
We stayed here for one night as a couple after a flight from Asia. Wanted to charge extra 25 euros for early check in so we gave that a miss. The hotel entrance is obscured with frosted glass. The staff were not very friendly and couldn’t find our booking. The room was small but made large by having a complete mirror wall opposite the bed. The bathroom is tiny and re shower head has no rest so you...
The location is very convenient and overall the room was clean however there was an overwhelming and unpleasant smell of cigarettes in the room which made the stay unbearable. We checked out earlier due to this and had a very poor night sleep.
friendly staff decent location in eastern piraeus cool looking rooms that look like the advertised rooms with what feels like soundproof walls only major downside was the wifi, they have 8 different connections that keep swapping between each other and disconnecting overall. when i could finally get connected most social media apps would not work at all.

Did not enjoyed. Breakfast was served in room and rooms are already very tiny and not same size as mentioned on the description. the toilets are very old and sticky.
Felt safe and for the price is was not bad. It is out of the way from the city center, over an hour commute on the metro. The Air conditioner was not working and the showers have no curtain.
Not enough for the price Parking inside big enough. The smallest and cheaper rooms are.. small, not cleaned before we got inside, small bathroom with no shower curtain, water all over the place. The bed was nice, slept well. Same breakfast brought in room for 5 mornings - poor, boring!
It was fine. The room was clean and tidy, although it smelt of cigarette smoke. Check in and parking were super easy. If you want a basic hotel, then this’ll do.
Ideal hotel for a getaway Very well located hotel near the highway exit in a quiet area with restaurants nearby Breakfast served in your room Excellent welcome
I had such a great stay at this hotel. The staff made me feel super welcome, really friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was cozy, and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, I also appreciated how quiet it was, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was also awesome (plus really good coffee). I’d totally recommend this place and would 100% stay here again...

We have stayed in many 3 star hotels in Athens and this was definetly the most cleanest and with excellent reception staff & manager! The dangerous Omonia square is very exaggerated. Its true that there is a lot of immigrants, but we didnt feel scared. If you have traveled in any big citys as London, New York, etc... its no different. The breakfast is a basic breakfast basket, not a buffee, but you...
I was really very impressed and satisfied with the three nights I spent at the Hotel Vienna, whilst visiting Athens at the end of August 2022… It’s centrally located (close to Acropolis, Sindagma, Monisteraki, Plaka et al) just off Omonia Square and the main Metro Line… My standard double room was specious and extremely clean with comfortable bedding and aircon. The management and staff - especially...
My partner and I stayed at the Vienna for 10 nights. I can't remember ever staying at a hotel with such nice, courteous, helpful and genuinely friendly staff! It was a genuine pleasure dealing with them, even if it was just to pick up the key when returning to the hotel at the end of the day. Whenever we needed something (print out something, book a taxi, ask for a plaster, even ask for the name of...
Really good considering the price I paid for this room, including breakfast. The staff really stood out, being very attentive and you can tell they are constantly thinking about what the customer wants. They did so when I checked-in, by offering different room options. They did so when booking a time slot for the breakfast (unfortunately still a thing in Greece). They did so when consuming the breakfast...
Fantastic location and great price for being in the centre of Athens - super convenient for getting all around from the Acropolis to all of the bars, cafes and restaurants. Really welcoming reception and hotel staff. Would stay here again next time.

The hotel is clean. Location near city center .breakfast is correct staff are welcoming and helpful.
Hotel clean, cleaned every day. Breakfasts very monotonous and small selection. The worst is the area, visually very poor.
It was spacious enough for a solo traveler, and breakfast was included. I think it's a good value hotel. I don't think the surrounding area is very safe, but that's fine if you don't mind.
All the personal in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very rich and healthy. I liked especially the Greek olives, the Greek salad and the delicious Greek yogurt with honey. The location is not the best of Athens , but inside the hotel we enjoyed our two-weeks-stay very much. Bravo !!!
A good value for the price. Very clean and very helpful staff. The location is a few blocks from the metro and it’s walkable to museums and central areas. However, yes the location does seem a bit sketchy and has some visible **** use. I never felt unsafe or bothered by anyone, but I didn’t linger around. The hotel itself was a good experience and I would stay again.
It has complete supporting facilities, high cost-effectiveness, and is close to Constitution Square. Except for some alleys with a lot of idle people, it is generally safe.

If you’re girl traveling alone - I wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s closed to center, but the district is considered to be bad cause of immigrants and dirt. If you don’t like when weird dudes stare at you while you walk around, then its better to find another place😅 There were only guys in my shared room. Some of them were respectful and other spoke loudly on the phone at 7 am, another one was...
The hairdryer is broken. It's inconvenient having different staff every day. There's no way to enter directly by swiping a card. It's in a rather dangerous area. The surrounding area is quite chaotic.
The location is good, but it's not very clean, and the beds are terrible. The bunk beds are very noisy; I couldn't sleep properly at all. The springs in the mattresses are worn out and they make a creaking noise.
Good place to stay you meet many people
great experience. very clean and nice staffs. rooftop bar is great when you want to chill and watch the temple.
I enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are nice and ensuite relatively clean. The only thing is the room are very cold (you have to go to reception to get a blanket/remote for A/C) and don’t come with a curtain - I would suggest a female only room rather than mixed. The area also isn’t the best, I didn’t feel super safe and refrained from walking outside when it got dark. I met some lovely people here though

Booked a double room from dec 27th until dec 30th 2025 to spend my bday in Athens with my sister. I was recommended this hotel and I’m glad I chose it. The breakfast is included and offers both English and continental...
Had a great time staying in this hotel whilst visiting Greece to watch Scotland. The hotel is in a bit of a quirky area and surrounded by interesting markets. There is also an area behind the hotel in the lanes where you can stumble across quaint restaurants. The accommodation is not 5 star, but not advertised as so. It was very good and clean, but we were not there to spend time in the room! There...

Basic three star hotel with great location and fantastic staff. Just off Athenas street the hotel is convient to the major tourist attractions. We never had to walk more than 30 minutes to anything. I read previous reviews on different platforms before booking this hotel for a 2 night stay. I do wonder if I am in a parallel universe to other reviewers. My expectation was a quiet clean hotel in central Athens near the markets with a good breakfast. The reality was a noisy hotel in a very downbeat area. I had a room on the fifth floor facing the markets. The hotel has placed lighting all round...
Great location and super friendly staff! The room was very clean and the view of Acropolis and half of Athens was incredible (we stayed on the 8th floor). The rooftop area offers a 360° view of Athens and you can see as far as the ocean. The bar was only open during weird hours, but that could be because it was kind of low season. Clean and central hotel, the receptionists are friendly.
The room is clean and the location is quite good. However, the shower is a real challenge; you inevitably flood the entire bathroom while showering.
The hotel boasts a perfect location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was perfect and clean, and it was such good value. The area is right in the middle.of everything and close to the excellent metro. Thank you for my stay, it made my trip.
I stayed there for one night after a cruise. The staff was very friendly and got us into our room fast. I wish they had ratings for very good as this place was. Main reason for a lower rating is location. Close to the docks but not much else in the area.
Basic but nice hotel, located close to Pireus port (10min walk). Very nice staff, clean. Exactly what we were expecting.
Traveled as a single mom with my 11 year old daughter. I seriously found everything about this hotel exceptional. Nice location, great sea view, polite and helpful staff, convenient bus stop in front of hotel getting to ferry port in 30 min. Good value for money.
Staying here is inexpensive and on the coast. We started in a large three bedroom with no view which was more expensive than the ocean view. We changed to the ocean view that was wonderful. Unfortunately the beds are not that comfortable but tolerable.
For 50 euros a night with a view of the sea, it was definitely worth it, but I wouldn’t pay more. The interior is very old, and the sink in the bathroom was hanging as if it was going to fall at any moment. One good point is that the check out is at 12 that was very convenient.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and patient with all my questions - they really went above and beyond. They also gave excellent meal recommendations. Rooms were quite nice, including spa bath good air conditioning and small balcony. No coffee or tea, kettle, cups etc. Can get in the bar area but must pay for it nothing is gratis. Terrible breakfast not worth the price No cafe etc. Helpful staff. Located close to ferry terminals. Two good cafes very close by.
The room had slippers, there were enough towels. Also, you can ask for daily cleaning, which is very convenient. But: You have to leave your room key at the reception every time you go out, which I didn’t like. The soundproofing is poor. Also, there was no kettle or even a glass in the room.
Bed was hard as a rock, had to carry luggage up the entrance stairs, about 13 steps. We were required to leave our room at the desk every time we left the building. The location was great.
Property was very nice, only stayed briefly for one evening. Hotel carries sound very well due to the stone flooring, so I could hear other people walking or moving luggage quite loudly during the night. Very clean. Had to hold the shower head over my head with my hand which I don’t love, and only provided one thin sheet for the bed.
The area is very calm and feels safe. Public transportation is near (tram/bus/trolley bus). Clean and spacious rooms, given the price level.
