Ikaros Hotel Elliniko in Athens

Ants and roaches were found in my room. The staff was overall friendly though!

Very nice staff, they really try to help you out with everything. But the hotel is too old, it is maybe cheaper option there but they still charged me quite a bit for a single room, so small and old, leak in the bathroom, you can hear everything from the road and they drive loud cars and motorbikes even late at night so you can wake up hearing them. The closest restaurant is 2,2 km away, so you can’t walk in that heat. Bus is an option if you have the local card. Make sure you have it before the check in cos the closest kiosk is 2,2km away. Left side you have some nice beach clubs along the coastline, the best one I though was bolivar. There is also a small beach near by, 1km away. There is nothing less than 1km away from the hotel, even the closest garage shop 1km away. These people should invest the money they make to fresh up the place. It’s clean but way too old, and still around 50€ night for a single and extremely small room.

Every day same breakfast....two slices of toast, two slices of ham and cheese.
