Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Canale Hotel. Every member of staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern, stylish and very comfortable with spectacular balcony views across the bay to the mountains. To top things off, the breakfast was also an absolute treat. The owner kept going into our room to turn of the AC that was already barely working ..we were eating breakfast and I had a view of our front door and the owner went into our room twice ..it’s unacceptable!!! Lovely apartments . So relaxing and peaceful with brilliant view. Apartments very clean and well kept. Staff so kind and helpful Big room (except bathroom) and very comfortable beds However half way between argostoli and lassi so I would recommend a car or use kefalonia taxi company as we did. Property was clean, beds were comfy and views of apartment were beautiful especially at sunset. The staff were brilliant- polite, kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. The apartments are close by argostoli town, 30-35 min walk although it is a dark walk at night with no lights- can use phone light or taxi on way back.

We had a wonderful stay here, the view across the bay is truly stunning, the poolside breakfast is delicious, and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. It's very easy to get into town and there are some great restaurants nearby. We will definitely return the next time we are on the island.

We usually stay at the Grand Hotel which is just a few doors down the waterfront, but decided to try the Argostoli Mare Suite instead. A great decision as it has the same wonderful outlook, but more spacious rooms, in our case a suite, and is perfectly situated to enjoy all of Argostoli town without a car. Arrived late and a friend had to wait with our key. Very small elevator for bags. No shelves or drawers in bathroom. Could use more mirrors since can’t get ready in bathroom. Nice big room. Great view. Very clean and modern.

Oskars was wonderful. Beautiful place, views, pool, and great food. Convenient to everything we wanted to do. Our only complaints were the towels were air dried outside, so a little rough, and the shower was a bit small with a curtain that wanted to blow inwards! Otherwise, we highly recommend Oskars. The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke great English.

Lovely family run hotel, really friendly people running the place, delish cocktails and food. You get the sun all day when day by the pool and can even stay for a beautiful sunset with accompanying cocktails. A lovely great value stay. Friendly atmosphere. Pool was clean and quiet. Lassi is a 15/20 min walk or 8 euros in a taxi. Some lovely little coves nearby which you can visit or the nearest big beach is a 15 min walk. The facilities are basic but clean
