Canale Hotel & Suites in Argostoli

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were made to feel welcome and thoroughly taken care of. The staff are all so professional and warm and make you feel at home. We were upgraded to a superior suite and the room was absolutely immaculately clean and the views over the water to the hills were incredible to wake up to each day. My husband and I both tend to struggle to sleep when away from home but we both slept like babies! Breakfast was a real highlight and we were always excited for it each day! The service again was fantastic but the quality of the food was so good! I was obsessed with the pancakes and ate them most days! The location of the hotel is perfect and you can be in the main square in 5 minutes, close to some fantastic restaurants. We felt totally spoilt during our stay and our holiday left us feeling relaxed and refreshed. We didn't want to leave, which again, is unusual for us both as we can find being away from home difficult. We have already booked for next year and are already excited to return. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who gave us the best holiday we have ever had- can't wait to do it all again!

We had the chance to use the spa at the sister hotel nearby, and it was fabulous—exactly what we needed after travelling.

The moment you arrive at the Canale you are treated like friends. There was a welcome cocktail on check in and a comprehensive explanation of the facilities and helpful advise for your stay. We were given a room upgrade to a suite which was equipped with an outdoor hottub. The rooms are very modern with high quality amenities. As with the previous reviews it's not the hotel that's the only star it's the staff that make this hotel exceptional. We received the highest levels of service from the staff from their amazing breakfasts to the evening cocktails (thanks to Adonis), recommendations for restaurants, places to visit, wines and bars from Petros and Martine, exceptional service from Maria, Gerry and the rest of staff for making our stay special.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff who looked after us were truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The room and all common areas were spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were abundant, varied and fresh. So much choice! The staff completely made our holiday, they were so friendly, informative and wanted us to have a great stay. Hotel rooms are modern, well equipped, very stylish and extremely comfortable. Thank you Petros, Martine, Maria, Adonis, Gerry and the whole Canale team for an excellent stay. Very much recommend this well positioned, luxury hotel.

This is a nice boutique hotel in a nice island, great location, room is superb and the people working there are just out of this world. We were greeted by the nicest person, I forgot her name, but she is from Albania, the nicest person we found in our trip. Hotel is in a great location, across from the promenade, great restaurants and close to the ferry. The room was immaculate, great bed, and terrace. When back in Kefalonia, will go there

Loved our room and the hot tub which we used often. Everything from the day we arrived was perfect. We loved the breakfasts (although we don’t have big appetites) they were gorgeous. I loved my complimentary treatment at the Casaly., so thank you for letting me have that experience. The staff were the best and nothing was too much trouble for them. Finally, again, thank you so much, please pass on our sincere thanks to everyone that contributed to our wonderful holiday.

Where do I begin, after an unfortunate accident whilst on holiday my husband and I stayed at Canale Hotel and Suites whilst return flights to the UK were being organised. From the moment our booking was made we received service at its absolute best. The staff at this hotel are simply amazing, attentive and anticipate your needs before you even voice them, nothing was to much trouble and every single one of them went above and beyond. The rooms and facilities are first class, luxury throughout, the breakfast is plentiful and absolutely delicious and could keep you going all day, the location is fabulous with wonderful views of Argostoli Harbour, with plenty of restaurants and shops in close proximity. The sister hotel Casaly is just a few doors away and has equally amazing staff and fabulous spa facilities. If you are looking for 5 Star luxury in Kefalonia, do not look anywhere else book Canale Hotel and Suites!

I have never left a trip advisor review before but fair’s fair. When we first pulled up at Hotel Canale I was surprised to see three smartly dressed, smiling staff members waiting outside to greet us. Our bags were whisked off and we had a cocktail and a chat as we were checking in. The staff were happy to help us with recommendations for restaurants, trips, taxis and really friendly. It felt like a very personal service. The team give you the hotel WhatsApp number so if you want to book the beach, a restaurant or order a taxi you just WhatsApp them and they respond immediately. What a great idea! The room was spotless and maintained in that condition all week. Very modern and comfortable with a great view. When we went to the beach the staff took our beach towels in reception. New fresh beach towels were waiting for us on the bed. The breakfasts were amazing. Fresh, varied ( very) plentiful and cooked to order. The team remember what coffee, juices etc you like and after about the third day you don’t even have to ask. We have never been so well looked after at a hotel and we plan to go back. Thank you to all the team for making our holiday so special. Efkharisto and au revoir from Mark and Alison.

This cozy boutique hotel does everything right, all of the time. We were here for 8 nights and It was one of our best hotel stays ever! Here’s why: Excellent staff - every person working here is friendly, helpful, happy. Special thanks to Petro and Christina for providing wonderful advice on activities, food, beaches. Wish I got everyone’s names. Truly - all of you are so wonderful! Just like family. Special Perks (no added cost) - front row reserved seats at Costa Costa Beach; free valet parking; one free massage; signature beach bag. Great room - we booked the jacuzzi room and were upgraded to the top floor (much appreciated!). What a treat to come back to a hot outdoor jacuzzi every day. Great air con, large room, comfy bed, crisp linens, excellent hot shower. Delicious breakfast - Fresh fruit, fresh local pastries, yogurt and granola, juice, coffee, salad, and a variety of made to order eggs and pancakes. Whatever you want. All delicious. Perfect Location - overlooking the port and lovely hills, perfectly located on edge of town near all restaurants, and daily boat excursions. Easy to drive in and out. Easy to see the turtles at 9am! Close to airport. What a treat. What a wonderful stay! Many thanks to everyone at the Canale. You made our stay in Kefalonia truly special.
