Lagoon View Apartments - Adults Only in Lassi

Wow what a nice place, owners Panos and Mary are two very hard working kind people.
If your after a nice quiet place to relax, then this is the place!
Chill and relax by the pool, lunch and dinner available and it is all home cooked by Mary and the portions are massive!
There is bar next to the pool for afternoon and evening drinks.
Rooms are lovely and comfortable, to be honest though you will spend most of your time next to the pool or down in the town.
Highly recommend this lovely peaceful holiday destination.

We holidayed with TUI in August and stayed at Lagoon View Apartments. The location is fairly remote with beautiful surroundings and views. Everything you need for a quiet, relaxing, peaceful holiday is here, with Argostoli and Lassi only a 10 minute drive away. Panos, Mary and his family were fantastic hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. A car is certainly recommended.

We just had a great holiday at Lagoon View apartments. Kefalonia is incredibly scenic and the view from the balcony was tremendous, Panos was very welcoming and treated us like old friends. We weren’t sure whether we were going to hire a car so Panos kindly dropped us off in the town on the first morning and walked from there to one of the nearer beaches in Lassi, then back to the apartment. It wasn’t too bad but coming back up the hill in the warm weather was quite tiring so we decided that a hire car was the best option which Panos organised and we got a much lower price than we had anticipated. As we had a car we then didn’t need to pay for separate trips and were able to drive to most of the attractions and several different beaches. Driving there was quite easy as there are a lot of other hire cars on the road and the locals will soon overtake. Most of the roads were good, although there are some quite narrow spots. We had two lovely meals there, after that we went self-catering because we could get to the supermarkets easily, we tended to go to Lidl, and the kitchen facilities were so good. The apartment has a washing machine as well, and very good Wifi. We would happily stay there again.

We stayed at Lagoon View in September for the second time. Lovely quiet place. Panos is a great host, very knowledgeable about the area. A hire car is a must. Already booked for next year.

We have just returned from spending two weeks at Lagoon View. The apartments are clean and have everything you need for self catering and the washing machine came in really handy. The owner, Panos, is really kind, welcoming and accommodating. He will go out of his way to help, where he can. His wife, Mary, made us a lovely meal (spag bol) on our arrival at 8:30pm(ish) - which we pre-arranged by direct email with Panos. It came across that Panos loves the company of his guests and will encourage everyone to socialise around the bar area in the evenings. It was great to meet the other guests to hear their backgrounds and the adventures they had had or were having on this beautiful island. A lot of the guests were returning to the island. I would recommend hiring a car (an automatic would be easier) to view the stunning scenery, visit quaint villages, towns, beautiful beaches and coves with crystal clear waters. The snorkelling was brilliant, with my husband even swimming with a Loggerhead Turtle at one stage. We loved visiting the towns of Argostoli, Assos (& walking to the castle), Fiscardo, St Georges Castle, Melissani and Drogarati Caves, Sami and Skala. We also arranged a trip with TUI to Ithaka ( the neighbouring island) which was one of my highlights of the holiday - stunning and calm. Our favourite places for refreshments and eating were Old Time Cafe in Troianata (stunning views and homemade food), Kastros cafe (St Georges Castle), Osteria del Borgo in Lakithra, En Kefallinia (homemade, homegrown and organic) in Lakithra and Olive Lounge (Kastro). All in all - a perfect holiday

My first solo holiday was at Lagoon View Apartments recently . I was a little apprehensive - but I needn’t have worried . Panos and Mary have created wonderful apartments, beautiful pool area with the most comfortable sun beds and nothing was too much trouble for them . They were welcoming, friendly and knowledgable of the area . Panos kindly took me into Agastoli as I wasn’t driving . The other guests were also friendly and this created a very laid back atmosphere . I loved my week and can’t wait to return !

We have just returned after an amazing 11 night stay at Lagoon View apartments. We wanted a base where we could explore the island from and Lagoon View apartments are perfect. Panos is a great host - he knows when his guests are arriving and is there to meet everyone with a warm welcome. The apartments are clean, modern and have every amenity that you could want. My biggest suprise was the washing machine - being able to come home from holiday with a clean case of clothes for me is a game changer (sad but true!) We did our research beforehand and knew that car hire would be essential, not research enough though to realise that Panos actually has cars that he hires at a more competitive rate. We will definitely book through him next time! We have visited Greek islands many times and realise that when you are in an apartment (not a hotel), there is an expectation that there will be a charge for the air con and the room safe so it was not a suprise to pay an additional amount. Granted there is not a view of the lagoon from every balcony, however if you step outside, the views from the gardens down into Argostoli and the lagoon are beautiful, especially at night where the lights are all twinkling. An excellent location for a quiet and calm escape. We had a fabulous time. Room was recently updated with new and modern walk in shower. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts are excellent! Panos couldn’t do enough to make our visit as enjoyable as possible, very attentive and keen for us to have a lovely time. Lots of information and advice offered on the island. Mary is an outstanding cook, all meals prepared fresh and excellent quality - good wholesome Greek food and happy to cater for a very fussy eater- thank you ❤️

We last stayed here in the Autumn of 2014 and were delighted to be able to return this year. Hard to see then how on earth it could be improved but Panos and Mary have managed it. There is now a beautiful but discreet poolside bar, perfectly managed by Panos, the best host you could come across. But now the lovely Mary takes pride in cooking a "meal of the day." And what a great cook she is! One evening we tasted the lightest mousakka we've ever had and another night had a delicious stifado. All served with Greek salad, rice and bread, it was incredible value for top quality food. It is great to see from the reviews since our last visit that others are appreciating this beautiful set of apartments with such attention to detail, and the tranquil ambience that the hosts clearly are so successful at achieving.
