Thalassa Boutique Hotel - Adults Only in Lassi

I spent a lovely, relaxing week at this delightful hotel. As it is the end of season, it was quiet, but there were enough guests to make the atmosphere pleasant. I was in a room with a wonderful sea view, and whilst the building work in front of the hotel was a bit noisy during the day, you couldn't hear any of it from the pool area. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a TV that gives you access to Netflix, Amazon etc through your own login, which was a marvellous bonus when it was raining. The room was serviced to an excellent standard once a day and bottles of water provided everyday. Breakfast is lovely and served until 11am (which means you can properly unwind). The highlight for me is the staff: the wonderful warm and friendly women who served me coffee through breakfast made me feel so welcome. As a solo female traveller, I find this particularly valuable.

As I sit here listening to the staff unobtrusively close down the hotel for the season, I can hear a cockerel in the distance, birds twittering and looking out to the serene blue Ionian sea. This hotel is what dreams are made of, I have been a travel agent for 32 years and I have never found such good service in any European country, the staff (even this late in the season) could not do enough for us. The rooms, facilities are second to none, location for restaurants and beach access perfect. If you are looking for a romantic break or fun with friends - do come you won’t regret it. Thank you so much to all the staff for a lovely break.

For us what stood out were the staff, the quality of our room and food.

This hotel is perfectly located if you want quiet but dont mind a 5 min walk to the beach or the town. The taxi services are great for further afield areas. Would we come back. Definitely.

We had a great time at this hotel, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the hotel itself is fantastic, lovely surroundings , great breakfast with plenty of options , bars and restaurants less than a 10 min walk away, would highly recommend this hotel

Kefalonia is a lovely island and one of the best beaches is a short walk from this hotel - Makris beach. The hotel is immaculate with lovely staff. Shout out to Carla on reception who went beyond the call of duty to help me on our first day, and Sylvana on breakfast who was so friendly helpful and pleasant to talk to. Pool area is beautiful. Glorious views of sea if you have a sea facing balcony.

Excellent staff , Excellent accommodation , excellent breakfast and service only negative was undercooked shrimp which made very ill , it did spoil my last three days , had to go to hospital on my return to U.K. , but apart from that everything and everyone was brilliant,I would return again if they changed the menu in the pool bar , it was too elaborate,most people I spoke to said they would have preferred a snack bar type menu ,toasties hotdogs etc ,that is my only criticism,If I hadn’t become so ill , would have give it five stars all round

Have just spent our honeymoon at this beautiful hotel. Everything about this hotel is lovely, it has been done to a very high standard, it is immaculately clean throughout, with lovely spacious rooms,very friendly and helpful staff, the food is absolutely superb. Especially the breakfasts!! So much choice! Two lovely pools,plenty of very comfy sunbeds, and brollies, with fresh towels out every day, a fabulous gym, and great pool bar and restaurant. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. It has been an absolute joy to stay here.

My wife and I had a week here in September. I’d say we’re pretty well travelled and this has got to have been one of our best weeks away. The staff at the hotel were superb from reception to cleaners to the waitresses and waiters at breakfast and the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble and they even found me the Crystal Palace to Sunderland match to watch (but don’t hold that against them). For those who need Gluten Free options, there are plenty of those at breakfast and evening meal times, so don’t worry. The hotel is about a 5-10 min walk from the nearest beach that has sun loungers, umbrellas and a beach bar and restaurant. We went to Costa Costa bar and their loungers etc were 50 euros for the day (only went there once so the expense was worth it). We hired a car for 3 days and explored some of the island, including Assos, Fiskardo, Myrtos beach, Sami, Argostoli and Lixurio. Our first time to Kefalonia and the island is beautiful and so it was well worth the 198 euros for a Kia Picanto. Nearly hired a step through bike but the hills and tight turns would’ve had this 56 year old nervous, so we were pleased we opted for the car. Anyway, get yourself there. Brilliant!!!

Extraordinary 5 star hotel, amazing food and ambiance. Staff is exceptional and the hotel is walkable to two great beaches. We had a room with a swim up pool which was more than we expected. Staff is so accommodating and the island is a must visit.
