Princess Hotel in Lassi

Absolutely lovely hotel. We stayed at the beginning of October for 1 week. We were on the top floor overlooking the main road and with fabulous views of the sea. The room we had was immaculately clean and spacious. Very nicely decorated. Large bathroom with bath snd shower. Room was cleaned every day and new towels and bedding changed twice. We had an outside balcony which was just ideal for the two of us, with table and two chairs. The pool was really nice with steps leading into it which you could walk down easily. This was especially good for me as I struggle to use steps attached to the side. The staff were fantastic. Extremely friendly and helpful all the time. The breakfast was very good with a hood selection of fresh of produce each day. (Breads, fruit, Greek selection cereals, jams, honey as well as pastries and cooked selection of eggs sausages etc. Would definitely go back

Twin rooms are small, but once you get your head around that everything else is just wonderful. We're on our last night and I would definitely come back. The ladies in reception are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much bother. As for the cleaners they are so thorough and thank you Rosie for looking after us. Bar staff are there with a smile every day considering the long hours they work. The best beach is literally across the road too so the location is perfect and no hills to climb

Such a good hotel for couples. We were just one floor up and I would have preferred higher up - but I never specified this when booking. And guess what? The weather was so hot, we were glad of the shade by the end of the day And by day 6 we were really happy with this room. It is wall to wall sunshine outside and round the pool. Yes; bathroom a little tired, but shower was perfect, as was the bed. Huge wardrobes, loads of coathangers! Pool area and bar very pretty. Bar open til late, really lovely place to finish your evening. Ten minute walk to restaurants, bars and tavernas. Probably 5 mins to beach. Taxi rank almost outside. 8 or 10 euros to Argastoli. We loved our week here and will be back.

Our room AIr conditioning and TV were not working why we checked in. Front desk said none of the TVs working then next morning the receptionist said that was a lie and sent someone in to repair it. Air conditioning worked after we had it repaired. Light in the bathroom was blinking so they sent someone in to repair which lasted about one night then it started blinking again.
Breakfast was pretty good.
They had one man working bar who did not know how to make the advertised drinks, or maybe they didn’t have the ingredients. Same man working breakfast who was pleasant but then we heard him yelling and arguing with other staff several times during our stay.

We can not praise the hotel and staff at the Princess family run hotel high enough with a few words. At our late evening arrival check in was friendly quick and simple. Our standard double room on the first floor was clean and comfortable with a tiny balcony with small table and sea views in the distance so very adequate for pre dinner drinks or coffee /brandy at the end of the night. The air conditioning was included and was excellent. The room was modern and spotlessly clean and had a fridge, kettle and hair drier as standard. The bathroom was clean but small and the bath /shower set up was a bit dated although we believe there is an on going refurbishment program so as this was the only negative of the whole holiday experience at the Princess it was a minor issue. We know most other rooms had modern bathrooms already especially the superior double rooms. In the last few years when visiting other Greek islands we have stayed in 5 star all inclusive hotels so missed that lovely friendly Greek hospitality that a smaller traditional Greek family owned and run hotel gives you. From the moment you arrive outside the Princess and view the exterior of the hotel it oozes traditional Greek charm and affluence, which continues throughout the hotel from the reception to the dining areas and even the pool and pool bar. There is a total calmness around the place which makes the hotel a very relaxing and easy place to stay at. You judge any hotel on its location, facilities, cleanliness, quality of food and probably most importantly the proffessionism and support you get from the staff. We can honestly say that all the staff treat you in a friendly informative manor in which nothing is too much trouble no matter how stressed or busy they are. Special praise should go to Individuals, Victoria, Roza and Spiros who for which nothing was too much trouble when we needed information about the resort or service. All the staff were of the same helpful polite nature and if I could remember all their names I would have listed them. It was also a pleasure to see some of the family that own the hotel dining and relaxing around the lounge and bar area early evening, enjoying the calmness and ambience of the place as well as the guests. The hotel is 3 star but feels better than that and although it only does bed and breakfast, there was a huge variety of high quality hot and cold food on offer. When you are considering booking a hotel on an island or resort you have never visited before, location and accessibility to local beaches, restaurants, bars, shops and transport links are critical in making a perfect stay. To keep it short the location of the Princess hotel is perfect. Short ride to and from the airport, 3 lovely beaches 5 minute’s walk away, local restaurants and bars 5 - 10 minutes walk, bus stop 2 minutes walk to catch 2 euro bus ride to beautiful town of Argostoli and finally two supermarkets 5 minutes away. It's a beautiful hotel :-) the room was new, renovated and so beautiful! We love the Pool and the breakfast!! The people hwre are so friendly!! Perfekt! We will come again!
