Excellent hotel and friendly staff, beautiful scenery and sea views from everywhere in the hotel and grounds, stunning sun sets, Lovely beaches nearby, walkable into Lassis with all its restaurants and amenities. 10 mins in a taxi to the capital Argostoli, and 10 minutes in the opposite direction to the airport.

We love this hotel. We have stayed here as a group of girls for 2 years running. The location for the beach is perfect, the pool area is lovely and rooms are great. They had music in the bar on 3 of the nights which was a nice addition. We particularly liked our after dinner drinks in the hotel bar, lovely cocktails made by Chris and served by Lambros. Stayed at this hotel in a group of 8 friends . It was a lovely stay and excellent value for money . We really liked the pool area and the terrace for drinks . Second visit this year. The hotel is so well situated, right on the beach. Away from traffic so quiet. Easy access to shops and taverns, easy walk into Argostoli. Hotel is clean, friendly staff, great choice of food from buffet for both breakfast and evening meal. Only downside is queue for coffee machines and allowing people to put towels on Su beds, though this won’t stop us returning.

For us what stood out were the staff, the quality of our room and food. This hotel is perfectly located if you want quiet but dont mind a 5 min walk to the beach or the town. The taxi services are great for further afield areas. Would we come back. Definitely.

Kefalonia is a lovely island and one of the best beaches is a short walk from this hotel - Makris beach. The hotel is immaculate with lovely staff. Shout out to Carla on reception who went beyond the call of duty to help me on our first day, and Sylvana on breakfast who was so friendly helpful and pleasant to talk to. Pool area is beautiful. Glorious views of sea if you have a sea facing balcony.

We enjoyed a tranquil week at this amazing hotel. The staff were friendly and would do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The view from our double deluxe room was outstanding. Just home from another fabulous stay at the Asteris. This is our 3rd stay now, and we have loved each one. This hotel is so chill. Just far enough away from Skala to feel super relaxed, plus slightly uphill from the resort so that you get amazing sea and Skala views. Don't worry though, the hotel has a mini bus to take you to Skala in a few minutes if you want to visit the beach or other amenities...

We had one of the best stays at the Melmar View Hotel. Dynos was very helpful and gave us some good tips on sightseeing. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was also a good spread. The best part was the view of the Ionian Sea from the bar and pool area was just superb. Brilliant hosts and setting, you'll not be disappointed with the atmosphere or location, if you want quiet unspoilt views of Kefolonia. The rooms are four stars but should be five - Spotlessly clean and amazing size and space.

This was our first visit to the Almyra Hotel. However, so many of the other guests are regular returning customers and I can totally understand why . Whilst the hotel is immaculate it is was the wonderful welcome and level of service that we received that was so special and somewhat unusual these days . We do hope that like so many others we to can return .

This hotel is wonderful, the staff make you feel so welcome. The rooms are very comfortable, each having a beautiful view of gardens or the sea. The breakfast was perfectly balanced, lunch was good too on the odd occasion we ate there. There’s no evening dinner option but there’s a taverna within walking distance nearby. The hotel is super. We had a wonderful stay. We had a roof top executive suite and a double room with sea view. Both of which were great. The hotel has a perfect view. Breakfast was good for us. The communal areas were nice and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool much as we prefer the beach (Emblisi) but it was lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Almya Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel (25 rooms?) just outside of Fiskardo Village (about a 15 to 20 minute walk down the hill - a taxi (5 Euros) or hotel shuttle is recommended coming back). We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others if you're looking for laid back holiday and within striking distance to the numerous high quality restaurants, bars and cafes on the harbour side...

The hotel is situated a little outside of Fiscardo with fabulous views across the bay. It’s about a 20 minute walk down hill into town which is quite pleasant, however as there no pavement don’t really recommend doing this in the dark or in the heat of the day. The Koukiunaria Hotel and Suites was a great find in Alykes. It’s up a short track off the road and close to the sandy beach. It has a beautiful pool with ample sunbeds for all. The large pool is surrounded by well kept gardens and has a good pool bar serving drinks and food. You can relax here in a peaceful setting away from the noise and bustle from the road. A little dated… breakfast below average

The rooms are beautiful, ours had a sea view. The staff work tirelessly but all are friendly and polite. There is extensive choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant as well as some nice snacks during the day at the pool bar. My daughter and I went in August but the hotel was surprisingly not too busy which we appreciated. We will definitely return.
