Excellent hotel and friendly staff, beautiful scenery and sea views from everywhere in the hotel and grounds, stunning sun sets, Lovely beaches nearby, walkable into Lassis with all its restaurants and amenities. 10 mins in a taxi to the capital Argostoli, and 10 minutes in the opposite direction to the airport.

We holidayed with TUI in August and stayed at Lagoon View Apartments. The location is fairly remote with beautiful surroundings and views. Everything you need for a quiet, relaxing, peaceful holiday is here, with Argostoli and Lassi only a 10 minute drive away. Panos, Mary and his family were fantastic hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. A car is certainly recommended.

It is just a place to stay, and it is enjoyable. On the hillside, with nothing nearby. A drawback is the cost of air conditioning. An extra. For the apartment we were in, it was 150 Euros for the week. With temperatures pushing 40 degrees when we were there in August, you will want air conditioning. Also, it is relatively isolated. Second visit this year. The hotel is so well situated, right on the beach. Away from traffic so quiet. Easy access to shops and taverns, easy walk into Argostoli. Kefalonia is a lovely island and one of the best beaches is a short walk from this hotel - Makris beach. The hotel is immaculate with lovely staff. We usually stay at the Grand Hotel which is just a few doors down the waterfront, but decided to try the Argostoli Mare Suite instead. Quite disappointed. Website for hotel was a bit misleading, breakfast is had is a separate restaurant so cannot be had on terrace. Very small bathroom with broken showers. A broken safe and very poor air conditioning. The cleaners make extremely loud noise from 7 am till noon, slamming doors and screeching each day. For the price it was very disappointing

We had one of the best stays at the Melmar View Hotel. Dynos was very helpful and gave us some good tips on sightseeing. When I first stayed at Fiscardonna, I remember the kindness of getting a few bottles of water and even one of the local wines. This time I didn’t get anything but the room is still absolutely gorgeous.

Charming Fiscardo Boutique Hotel Location is amazing. Room was super clean, nice bed and sheets and very spacious room. Location in the middle of town was quiet and peaceful. Hotel Service was great. Hara was great. There is no outdoor sitting area for hotel guests except roof which was not comfortable. But the town is right below with wonderful places to sit by the port and relax.

The lady at the reception was very helpful with whatever we needed. The only negative was when we first arrived we had to bring our luggage down a flight of stairs. The hotel was well positioned to enjoy the many restaurants at night and take a walk along the water.

This was our first visit to the Almyra Hotel. However, so many of the other guests are regular returning customers and I can totally understand why . Whilst the hotel is immaculate it is was the wonderful welcome and level of service that we received that was so special and somewhat unusual these days . The rooms are beautiful, ours had a sea view. The staff work tirelessly but all are friendly and polite. There is extensive choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant as well as some nice snacks during the day at the pool bar.
