Our stay at the Pegasus Hotel was very pleasant overall.
The location is excellent – only about an 8-minute walk from both the town center and the beach.

The breakfast selection is rather small, but we always found everything we wanted. The hot egg dishes changed daily – from scrambled eggs to fried eggs or an omelette, which was a nice touch.

Our room was clean and had a balcony. If your room is on the north side of the hotel, it can be a bit noisier, as the balconies face the street.

The prices at the pool bar and main bar were absolutely fair.

What impressed us the most was how friendly all the staff were – warm and welcoming, but never overbearing. We have honestly never been to a place with friendlier people! The manager, Spiros, had wonderful energy and made sure everyone entered and left the breakfast room with a big smile, which we really appreciated.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Pegasus Hotel and will definitely come back!

A fabulous welcome from Adonis, Niko and George. 2 great weeks, a lovely spacious apartment, great pool with plenty sunbeds and Adonis' delicious food, mmmm ! Good quietish location but only 5 to 10 mins from the shops, the fantastic restaurants and the sandy beach. Already booked for May 2026, can't wait, Roda is such a friendly place.

After reading all the reviews, we expected amazing accommodation and hospitality. We didn't get it! The hotel needs a major facelift into the twenty first century. It's been left behind in the eighties. Rooms are dated. The furniture is dark and old fashioned, as is the one strip of wallpaper on the wall ????? The beds are hard, like sleeping on concrete. The only plus is the bathroom which is modern although the half sized shower door is of no use at all and the bathroom gets soaked everywhere. The rooms are kept lovely and clean as was the rest of the hotel, so top marks go to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was plentiful, although the same food was served every morning which is great if you like scrambled eggs and beans and, with eggs one day being swapped for little sausages like you get out of a tin. There were pastries and cold meat, bread etc but the hot offerings were only luke warm. Also after the second morning the soundtrack of serenity music (birds tweeting & chimes) , playing every single morning, quickly got very irritating. There was no atmosphere in the hotel, around the pool or in the bar. Staff were friendly but didn't go out of their way to make you feel like a valued guest. On the plus side the hotel has a good location. Just a five minute walk from a great cafe, amazing restaurants, shops and bars. Just be careful when walking though as the traffic is fast and there are no proper pavements for pedestrians safety. We had a great holiday and we loved Roda but we wouldn't go back to the Pegasus.

This was our first visit to Corfu and Roda. We looked at various reviews online and did some research of the area and what a gem we found. The hotel was clean, the pool is fabulous and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Spiros would always go out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for everyone. Vivi’s cold frappes at the pool bar were gorgeous. The snack bar serving pool side food was always clean and efficient. Arulla was fantastic! The location of the hotel was about a 5-10 minute was to the restaurants and beach. The only downside if I’m being is that there is not a crossing closer to the hotel to allow you to cross the road a little more safely especially at night. See you all next year!

Just returned from a week's break here.
Where do I start.
Check in process was straight forward, checked in by a friendly lady, asked to pay the levy immediately and given our room key.
So many steps to navigate with your cases, no offer of any assistance.
Our room was very tiny, 3 beds all next to one another.
The beds are like sleeping on paving slabs, absolutely awful.
Wardrobe doors squeezed like mad and hit the room door every time they opened and shut.
The fridge was absolutely tiny and didn't work, it only left puddles in the bottom of it.
In fact the room was really dated and desperately needs a refurb.
The bathroom was decent and modern except the bizarre reason to put the folding glass screen on the side of it and not the front, as you can expect the water went everywhere including over the toilet.

Outside there is a nice bar in the middle of the pool which was only open once in our week, not surprising though as the weather wasn't the best.

But still a lovely outside area with plenty of sun loungers.
There was also a Snackbar which had a small menu but that was hardly open too.
Inside at the bar there was never anyone in there or any atmosphere.
Again the lounge area is in serious need of a renovation, it was like going back to the 80s.

The breakfast, well that was an experience.
Cold beans and cold scrambled eggs were daily staples, boiled eggs that must have been boiled for 30 minutes.
A few pain au chocolate and mini croissants and the odd slice of dry sponge cake were available.
The orange juice was like excessively watered down cheap squash.
There was also ham, cheese and some salad, honey and Greek yoghurt.
The hot drinks made very nice hot chocolate.
Every day at breakfast serenity & wellness music of bells, chimes and birds tweeting greeted you from loud speakers, after 2 mornings, that was enough of the din and we went elsewhere for breakfast before we all went out of our minds.
We absolutely hated that music forced upon us all every morning, we wasn't the only ones either that hated it.
It was so annoying and ridiculous.

On checking out of the hotel, we had no, did you have a nice stay or was everything up to standard from the receptionist.
In fact zero communication from any of the staff all week.

After staying at the outstanding Pristine hotel in Sidari for the last 2 years, we found this hotel a real disappointment and we won't be stopping there again.
Overall, very disappointing which was a shame.

My advice to the hotel is refurb/ modernise it and get some atmosphere in the place.

Roda and Acharavi are really lovely places with some fantastic restaurants and coffee shops.
A special shout out to Restaurant Drosia, La Merida and the Smurf Cafe for serving quality food with exceptional service.

Just returned from 11 nights at this wonderful hotel. Great location. From the minute we got there the staff made us very welcome. The room was very comfortable (B&B) with a fridge & kettle/tea/coffee. Cleaned every day. The pool area is so relaxed & the Sun loungers are very comfortable. Cute pool bar & snack bar with music during the day. The bar area is also relaxing & well stocked. We go to Roda regularly & will definitely be back to this hotel.

My wife and i are currently coming to end of our stay here after 10 nights and are happy we chose this hotel. The hotel is very clean with a big pool and plenty of sunbeds with pool bar and a good snack bar with good menu .All the staff are very welcoming and a special mention to Spiros who was always smiling and chatty.Roda is a nice resort with shops , bars and nice restaurants and easy to navigate. We hired a boat whilst we were there which was good fun.Ahcravi is the next resort along which you can walk to along beach path or you can get the bus also Kasiopi is another town past there and is well worth a visit 10 euro return on bus.

What a lovely little hotel Spotless rooms, bar, and pool. Family run by George Adonis and Nico. Couldn't ask for better. Breakfast was amazing and I highly recommend the yoghurt and pancakes cooked by Adonis, no Aunt Bessies here. Plenty of sunbeds so no sunbed wars. Beach is a short stroll away as are the shops and bars.

We have just returned from the hotel and would return again. The manager Spiros is amazing, friendly and had a great sense of humour. He greets you every morning with a smile and nothing is too much trouble for him. The rest of the staff especialky Maria are also friendly and welcoming. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast adequate to start the day and Roda is a ten minute stroll away where you will find traditional Greek restaurants, bars with music or bars where you can simply relax in peace a quiet. My personal favourite was Roda Park which is traditional Greek food and hospitality. There is plenty to do with olive oil tours, which can be booked at the home made soap shop or on line, and you can hire quad bikes and scooters if you want to explore with the air on your face. The only slight negative is that the hotel is on a main road but we had a side room with lovely garden and pool view and the sun came round so we could sit on the balcony on the afternoon. On a night the road traffic dies down and it did not stop me sleeping although the mattress was a bit hard for my liking. I will be booking again as Roda has everything we needed for an Autumn break and I will be returning to The Pegasus as i doubt anyone can beat Spiros for hospitality and cheering your day.

First time we have booked bed and breakfast and we werent disappointed. This gem of a hotel only has 39 rooms which were clean and comfortable, good air con, fridge and safe. Hairdrier in the bathroom. Arrived lateish after 40 min journey from Corfu Airport and was greeted with a complimentary drink at the bar, most welcome. Rooms were good, we were a bit concerned that the balcony overlooked the main road but neednt have worried, the patio doors shut out any noise and didnt detract from our stay. Breakfast is typically continental style, cold meats, yoghurt, fruit, plenty of rolls, toast, bread, beans, sausage and eggs, greeted by the flambouyant and very helpful, Spyros. If you want full english its not going to happen but its enough to start your day. The pool and grounds are lovely, no fighting for sunbeds, nice cushions, so comfy. The snack bar serves decent food, we ate there during the day if we were there. The bar is also open all day, try a cocktail. The men preferred the beer here and in local bars rather than all inclusive offerings. In the evenings we would have a drink and a game of pool in the hotel bar before venturing out. We socialised with other guests and its a good atmosphere but as its b&b most are coming and going. Roda town is a short walk away with plenty of restaurants, entertainment and shops. We ate out every night, fantastic food and reasonable pricing, usually about 25 euro per head including drinks. One night we had a takeout gyros from the restaurant opposite, 3.70 euros and it was really tasty ! So, you can do cheaper if you want. All in all we saved money and had the best time at this hotel and in Corfu generally. I dont think we will go back to an all inclusive, we met locals and people we wouldnt have met, enjoyed great food and hospitality, hired bikes and stopped off at bars and cafes along the beach roads. The hotel itself is family run and a little gem of a place, the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Im sure we will return on a future date.
