Where to stay with pets in Agia Galini

The food is first class and truly a great buffet - lots of homemade and homegrown food. The drinks are below average in price with a cocktail being around €11. A good bottle of wine around €20

The village is a brisk 10min walk along the seashore , passing lots of taverners, but well worth the walk. Hire of a car is essential too. We used Anna Cars from Heraklion - no hidden EXTRAS and fab people

Also a free A La Carte dinner at Tomatini the on-site restaurant. Also a voucher is handed to you for a free lunch - this is any salad and two main courses for two people - anything you want

Whilst here we were the ONLY English - which made for quiet socialising in the eve as everyone was German. Quiet a few kids , but they were generally well behaved

There are several pools in the hotel and also private pools in some of the rooms, so there is always an oasis nearby if one wants to cool down

This is one of the best places to locally - if not the best. A great welcome with local iced tea, homemade biscuits and a cool flannel

We had a beautiful renovated room with a sea view. Excellent box spring, large walk-in shower and sufficient closet space. The entire hotel has a beautiful design in terms of interior, everything is coordinated

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I was instantly greeted with a warm welcome by one of the ladies at reception who was very accommodating

Check in took 5 mins and I was shown to my room straight away to leave my suitcase after which I was shown the main areas (breakfast area and the pool)

The hotel is located further up the hill; there's a large parking lot below where there was always a space available. Agia Galini is a very beautiful place that invites you to stroll around

This small, family-run hotel is enveloped in beautiful bougainvillea. The welcome and everything else is always very warm 💗, especially from the lovely Anna at reception. The rooms are functionally furnished and clean

(Luckily, we brought a kettle 🤣) There's a small refrigerator and a TV (which we never turned on during our 14-day stay 😉). We booked air conditioning for €7 per day. The rooms are cleaned daily (except Sundays)

The beach in Agia Galini is about a 15-minute walk away. (Bring your swim shoes!) By car. there are many beautiful beaches. 👍 A truly wonderful holiday 😄 We were always struck by the amazing Greek hospitality

The rooms are simple but very clean. The terraces offer incredible views of the Libyan Sea.We go there mainly for the welcoming. Manolis and his wife do everything to make your stay pleasant

Very nice hotel, close to the beach, tour agencies, car rental, bars and restaurants. Staff is very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple, but enough. Rooms have a big balcony with seaview

The pool is not 24/7 open but it was clean and did the job well ;-) the room service was so cute, they drapped even our clothes for the night realy lovely! I missed it now at home

Every year I go to Manolis the owner of the Sunlighthotel. I always feel very welcome at his hotel. Now he renovated the rooms of the top floor which I would like to recommend!

Lennikos Resort is a delightful collection of apartments set on the hillside above Agia Galini on the south coast of Crete. It has a spectacular view of the Gulf of Messara, Matala and Cape Lithina in the distance

The rooms are well equipped and are cleaned from top to bottom every day (even the dishes!). Thanks to the very helpful owners we had an exquisite diner on arrival after a very long travel day full of delays

Lenikos is a great place to stay! Everything you need for a quiet break away. Close to Agia Gallia village, 45 minute walk (downhill so very steep on your way back!) or 5 minutes by car

I'm very satisfied from my stay in Ostria hotel. I really like the big balcony in front of the room. The staff was kind and helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast was really delicious.

Our room was at the 3th floor and was very quiet and had a spectacular view! The staff was really friendly and helpfull! I really recommend it and I will definitely come back next year! (Ps there is a elevator inside the hotel and outdoor stairs)

let's say the truth, considering that the average price we paid for other Hotel in crete was 35-40 euros. this was a bit expensive (80 euro, sea view with breakfast)

This is a very good family-run 2-star hotel. Cleaning is done every day, and once in three days, the towels and bed sheets are changed. The hotel is close to everything - tavernas, supermarkets, beaches and sos on

It's a 5-minute walk away from the town one way, and the beach the other way. Far enough to be completely quiet at night, and close enough to get there within walking distance. I can highly recommend this hotel

Nice apartments to stay in Agia Galini. The owner was a very kind and helpful woman, who upgraded our room to a sea view one that was available. It is located uphill but has some parking spaces

The location for visiting the surrounding area is perfect and the owner is nice and sweet. We recommend it for a couple of nights, considering the current price level is a good choice

Good price-quality, the room is nice, a bit old but considering the price is ok, it is recommended for a few nights as we did! I would have preferred more attention to cleanliness, considering the room is a standard double room not too big and the bathroom is small it should be easy and quick to have it perfectly cleaned

Neos Ikaros hotel provided a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all its guests. The owners and the staff were consistently helpful and attentive throughout the entire stay

The hotel also has a few very friendly dogs and some adorable cats. We loved playing with them, and it’s truly heartwarming that the hotel helps homeless animals by taking them in and caring for them

It is peaceful but near to town to be accessible (don't forget its hilly!) If you have a big appetite I suggest you order breakfast, it will set you up for the day!! We love it here
