Wa had an absolute fantastic stay with our toddler! The homemade mezze breakfast is delicious and different every day. Quietly located in the mountains above Agia Galini, so a rental car is a must here. The rooms are well equipped and are cleaned from top to bottom every day (even the dishes!). Thanks to the very helpful owners we had an exquisite diner on arrival after a very long travel day full of delays.

We had to cancel our stay at Lenikos Resort due to the sudden and tragic death in my family. Despite informing the hotel of this heartbreaking situation and explaining that we could not travel under such circumstances, the management showed no real compassion.
They offered only a partial refund of €500, even though we had paid nearly €1,000. We were hoping for more understanding and humanity, but their response felt purely commercial.
In moments of grief, one expects at least a gesture of kindness. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
Very disappointed.

Lenikos is a great place to stay!
Everything you need for a quiet break away.
Close to Agia Gallia village, 45 minute walk (downhill so very steep on your way back!) or 5 minutes by car. There are 3 fantastic pools which were quiet when I visited so I had the pool to myself. The views from the apartment was breathtaking and the breakfast each morning is fantastic. Fresh and local produce.

The accomodation was clean and comfortable the staff friendly and the food excellent. The lady owner said she would "knock something up for us" for our evening meal and produced an absolute feast! The breakfast was excellent too. As a cat lover, I appreciated the colony of cats lurking about who were incredibly friendly and completely gorgeous! The views from the resort were amazing - azure blue sea and stunning mountains.

Lovely place to stay. Modern rooms and nice team. It is located a car drive away from the town and a good base to explore. Pools are nice. Breakfast we loved but is not a buffet and a platter of different Greek items. We had 3 young kids with us and it suited us well.

Lennikos Resort is a delightful collection of apartments set on the hillside above Agia Galini on the south coast of Crete. It has a spectacular view of the Gulf of Messara, Matala and Cape Lithina in the distance. Each apartment is well appointed with kitchenette, washing machine, TV and Wifi. IT is about 5 minutes from the seaside village of Agia Galini itself which has restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. Galini beach is close by and further afield is Matala beach. Kali Limenes (Fair Havens of St. Paul's journey) and Phaistos ruins are also worth a visit.

Perfect stay in this hotel. The apartments are really spacious and very well decorated. There are also 3 small swimming pools accessible for all the customers, with however rather few parasols (under 32°C it is hot!), except for the swimming pool located at the level of the reception, certainly small but very well equipped and very pleasant to read a little. The breakfast is just splendid! A multitude of sweet and salty dishes, home-made and which change every day, enough to please everyone. The service is perfect and the welcome very warm. A very quiet and relaxing place in the mountains! I can only recommend it!
