Avra hotel in Agia Galini is an absolute perfect place to stay. The hosts could not be more welcoming, helpful & lovely. The place is spotless clean & so quiet, linen & towels new & so clean. It is in a great location close to beach, town & restaurants. We had a gorgeous balcony with a fabulous sea & mountain view. I would highly recommend this place. Thankyou for making our stay so perfect.

We have been coming here for several years. Small hotel, very friendly, run by a charming, quiet helpful couple, they are always to hand if you need advice. The rooms are very clean with lovely sea view. Really comfortable beds. Soap shower gel/shampoo provided. As is kettle with cups and coffee. Small fridge. You can buy inexpensive soft drinks and beer.....great after coming back from beach. The hotel is on a hill, hence the lovely sea view it is not a difficult walk to or from the beach. Highly recommend. The price does not reflect the accommodation, such a bargain!

This is our 5th visit to Avra. There are steps you need to be aware. However there is nothing else negative to say. The couple running Avra are kind and friendly. We always stay in a room at the top with a sea view. The room is clean, comfy bed, kettle and fridge. Also air conditioning. Shower/shampoo and soap provided, also a hairdryer. It is peaceful but near to town to be accessible (don't forget its hilly!) If you have a big appetite I suggest you order breakfast, it will set you up for the day!! We love it here.

If you want to experience a friendly, typical Greek familyhotel, clean rooms and a super nice breakfast, you need to go there! A good swimmingpool nearby "Adonis", soft beds and last but not least mosquitofree rooms because of the nets on every window! Lovely owners who are always there for you.

Christina & Michaelis are wonderful hosts. The rooms are small but spotlessly clean. There is cold beer and soft drinks in the fridge that are very keenly priced. You feel that nothing is to much trouble for these guys and you are being looked after every day that you stay. ♥️♥️♥️

For sure worth more than 2 stars. Owners are fantastic, rooms are super clean. It's very close to the centre as well as the other beach, and in case you have a car they also have park reserved for customers. Super!!!

Good location, very good parking opportunities, the warmest welcoming, really clean and tidy rooms, the owners are exceptionally helpful and nice people.I had my wedding anniversary there with just one day notice before and they organized the best way our morning with flowers and bubbles and everything. Can suggest this hotel for sure. Plus they help you with every information you may need. Thank you very much Avra Hotel for making our vacation perfect!

I believe in Agia Galini you don't have to stick to the hotel in the seaside but a bit inside one is better in price and quality. Avra is the one, the owner's service was great and even touching, and the price is very very reasonable compare the room they offer. I have stayed 3 different hotels in Agia Galini with high google scores and many reviews, I would say this was the best one. I have got the seaside view room, it had a really nice view, the room was clean & modern, wifi was very fast. The water pressure in the shower is great too. In crete island, most of people are very friendly and great, the owner of Avra was super nice but I felt beyond sincere there. You wouldn't regret to stay here. Book the room!

Amazing place with an awesome service. We went around all of Crete visiting plenty of places and this hotel made us feel as if we were at home. We stayed only one night, sadly, because we had planned our trip, but it was one of the best: Christina was so friendly, smily, welcoming us, explained all perfectly regarding the place and the village (lovely place, cute). The room was perfect size,perfectly clean, smelling amazing, small details around, bed comfortable and smelt fresh! The hotel has a tiny garden in between buildings, such a different place with a lovely balcony to enjoy the trees in the garden And the flowers around.Breakfast was perfect!! In a small space u can find everything for a good breakfast with an attentive service offering coffee and all u need. We sat outside in a lovely sofa with plants and flowers around.we felt as if they knew us forever and we were their best guests!! Many thanks !! Liz and Ben
