Not a great property more of a conference facility

Beach facing across road but larger rocks at beach- not very well maintained so not the best if you like to swim in beach

Air conditioning not working even when we asked to change rooms, they said we will send our maintenance man to fix - came back from breakfast - fan blowing high but temp went up instead of down hotel room was 27.5C hotter than outside
Breakfast was ok there was a simple buffet of different sorts prepared
We spent 2 nights - 3 days
Don’t spend your money - go elsewhere

I was very happy with my stay. Would recommend for families with young children wholeheartedly. The rooms were clean and the view was beautiful. The location was also convenient.

The room was large, comfortable, had all the required amenities and a beautiful view of the sea. The pool was sizeable surrounded by a large area with a bar where live music was played every night. There were several options for lunch and dinner within the hotel and we would strongly recommend the open air restaurant on the first floor that provided very tasty dishes. Our stay was made very comfortable by the hotel staff that was very professional and kind. We have stayed in this hotel several times and plan to visit again in the future.

AKS … We stayed at AKS Hotel for 10 days as a family of four with two small children. While the hotel has some positive sides, our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by a major issue: the air conditioning in our room didn’t work and was never properly fixed ❌ The Bad: • Our room temperature stayed around 29–30°C the entire stay, even during the night. When outside temperatures rose to 35°C mid-stay, the room became unbearable — especially for our kids, who woke up every 30 minutes due to the heat. There was simply no way to sleep well. • We reported the issue on Day 1 and were told that the entire hotel was experiencing AC problems and that we should wait one day. • On Day 2, a technician came but only adjusted the settings and said it would cool down. It didn’t. • Later, hotel staff lied, claiming the AC display was defective and that it only looked like the room was hot — but the heat was very real and extremely uncomfortable. • They eventually offered a room change, but it was clearly just an excuse, not a true solution. It was offered late in the evening (around 21:00) and the room was on the 5th floor, making it difficult to move with two small kids. At the same time, they also said a repair team would finally fix the AC, so we stayed, believing the issue would finally be resolved. • The repair team did come, but whatever they did made no difference. When we returned from our evening walk, the room was still 30°C. • Our final nights were miserable – no proper sleep, and total discomfort for the whole family. • We chose not to argue further, just to avoid ending our vacation on an even more stressful note.

This is the place to stay if you want to get a real feel for the warmth & charm of Porto Heli & its people, rather than a cold, impersonal hotel. The hotel is very well located, with a beautiful beach right in front. The lounge, interior spaces, are bright and spacious, offering plenty of natural light. The location is ideal for relaxing walks into the centre where you will find tavernas, restaurants and bars right on the marina. The staff were very efficient and friendly and gave wonderful assistance with every need of our visit. Our room was spacious, bright, beautifully decorated, and offered an amazing sea view from the third floor. The bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows to suit everyone. The cleaning staff were diligent and attentive, ensuring that our room would be spotless every day. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. The pool was fantastic with crystal clear water and the hotel restaurants were a pleasant surprise, exceeding our expectations. My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights and we will definitely return next summer season to this peaceful and friendly atmosphere.

The rooms have a beautiful view, however two of our rooms smelt like someone had been smoking in them. The hotel offered no solutions except spraying air freshener. Overall service was very rude. Hotel pool is filled with mostly kids with no supervision.
EDIT: we addressed these concerns to the staff and manager who did not do anything to rectify the situation at the time. They did not care at all. Terrible customer service. The comment by the hotel is for show and if they had cared they would have found a solution at the time.

Fantastic hotel, pool and amazing staff - in August it is very much a family focused hotel with many young families so bear this in mind dependant upon your preference. Some local restaurants a short walk away, and other around 15 minute walk to the town which was fine for us but may be far for younger children or repetitive beyond 7 days. However, we had incredible food eating out for the week we stayed in the evenings. My main concern was the beach :( It is very unclean, cigarette ends everywhere, plastic and rubbish. This was disappointing as we told reception. There was no attempt to clean it and we were there a week. The girl working at the beach bar wasn’t aware of this being done. Given they capitalise on their lovely beach in advertising, they need to take responsibility for their environment. The beach is small and gritty sand, so it needs to do better at looking appealing. Do not currently come for the beach. The pool is however lovely. Until I see a photo of the beach clean or someone doing this I don’t have faith it will be done. Some of the ‘Garden View’ rooms are located on higher floors with limited views and you may look out onto the concrete second level balcony jutting out from the building. However, we could see the sea which was lovely, and preferred this room compared to one at ground level as the hotel did offer to move us. Overall a wonderful stay made better by fantastic, friendly staff but a mismanaged beach which needs to be addressed urgently by managers because this lets the hotel and its reputation down for me which is a pity, especially for the environment they celebrate on Facebook but are currently neglecting.
