Alkinoi Resort & Spa in Monemvasia

What a FANTASTIC Hotel. From the moment we made online reservations to the day we said goodbye, the staff, service, hotel, location was the best I have ever experienced. Everyone was ready to help make our experience the most perfect it could be. They succeeded. The room decor is modern. The beds were soooo comfortable. The pillows..were...soooooo nice!The bathroom spacious. The pool was just fantastic. The entire hotel was just soooo clean and beautiful. The breakfast was the best we had in all our stay in Greece. The staff is so welcoming, we felt like family almost instantly. And the VIEW of the Rock not to mention how close it was to City Center, restaurants, shopping, site-seeing. It is a PERFECT gem. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel over any other when visiting Monemvasia!

Excellent breakfast options. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was clean and well layed out. Parking was on-site and secure. Would I recommend this hotel... absolutely!

Excellent option when visiting Monemvasia. The hotel is new and modern with wonderful amenities. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was a memorable one. The breakfast is another reason to choose the Alkinoi, with fresh squeezed orange juice and a wonderful assortment of Greek breakfast fare.

Fabulous stay at this hotel in August 2025 with the family for 7 nights. Ioannis, Sia and Angelika couldn't have been more helpful during our stay and the view of Monemvasia is breathtaking! A brilliant hotel to explore the region and beaches and just a 5-min cab to the old town. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Alkinoi Resort & Spa in August for 7 nights. Ioannia, Sia, Angelika and the team all made us feel incredibly welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them with brilliant local recommendations. The beautiful view of Monemvasia every morning will stay in our memories forever. Thank you!

This place was paradise. Beyond what i thought it was gonna be. I would wake up to a beautiful view and staff was phenomenal. Knowing me by my 1st name. Food was excellent, drinks were the best i had. Definitely coming back

Alkinoi Resort & Spa was excellent. It exceeded our expectations.

Easy parking.
We booked the suite for four people. The room was very spacious. It was the most spacious room I have ever stayed in, in Greece.
The queen size bed is an actual queen size bed.
The pull out couch has proper solid mattresses and is very comfortable to sleep on.
Very clean room.
Nice bathroom. Great shower.
Their sea view is beautiful and not obstructed.
Great little balcony to hang wet clothes and hang out on.
The pool area is too nice. You will not want to go anywhere else. Huge deep pool with salt water. The whole area overlooks the sea and the castle across the way. Comfortable tanning beds and umbrellas.
The staff that serves the pool area is wonderful. Efficient and calm.
The breakfast buffet is very good and very clean. The lady who runs this is amazing. She is on top of everything, making sure that everything is clean, tidy and replenished.
The buffet has drip coffee, Greek coffee, assortment of teas, fresh orange juice, assortment of dried fruit and nuts, yoghurt, jams and honey, assortment of sliced breads and breadsticks, pickled vegetables, cheeses, three kinds of eggs, cheese and spinach pies, cereal, big assortment of fresh fruit, big assortment of cakes and pastries. A personal favourite was the Portokalopita (orange cake).
Very clean bathrooms for pool and restaurant access.
What we did not enjoy was the very strict gym and pool schedule.

Loved our stay at the Alkinoi Hotel. Gianni and the team could not of been nicer of more helpful. The hotel was modern, with effective air con and stunning views of Monemvasia. The pool was salt water with a good depth and size. The cocktails were delicious and the menu offered a tasty selection of different foods to suit all appetites. The hotel was easy to find with good parking and I would definitely go back if visiting Monemvasia.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Alkinoi. So glad we booked more than a couple of nights.
It is excellent value for money. The views are truly amazing which are complemented by a beautiful pool and sunbathing area. The hotel is serenely relaxing and the staff cannot do enough for you. The standard of cleanliness is not just clean, but pristine. The beds are superbly comfortable with nice soft linen. Wonderful buffet style breakfast with an array of choice. It is the perfect place from which to explore Monemvasia and the surrounding area.

This hotel is one of the best hotels that we stayed in Greece in terms of its excellent customer service, facilities, comfortable room with a huge balcony overlooking the sea as well a beautiful view of the Monemvasia island where the old town is.

We were warmly welcomed by Yannis, the hotel manager who helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. He gave us dining options both in the old town as well as those in the new town.

Its sea water swimming pool has a pool bar and many deck chairs and has the same gorgeous view.

The jacuzzi too has the same picturesque sea view.

Breakfast was excellent.
