Rodos Blue Resort in Afantou

Really friendly staff, but ran on a shoe string so a bit under staffed. Breakfast and dinner was very standard each night with not much variation

Stayed here for a week, not a great hotel the beds are awful, like sleeping on cardboard (kneck and back are hurting because of it) the bed is a minimum requirement for a hotel and they can't even get that right. The pillows are worn. Spare pillows in the cupboard but they were also worn and realy dirty with yellow stains. Thin material blanket (I guess as it's realy warm).

The bathroom has a shower with a realy small tub, just about get both my feet to stand together. Handheld shower head. My toilet lid didn't stay up which was annoying (mentioned to reception desk on first day but nothing was done) hot water is a hit a miss.
Towels are changed daily and blanket folded that's about it. Bed sheets and floor sweeped once a week. Bathroom was not cleaned at all throughout our stay.

Breakfast was okay more English breakfast with toast, beans, bacon, mushroom sometimes boiled eggs or fried eggs. Beans were always cold. They had cereal and fruit. (some of the food for breakfast like cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelon, bread, got dry realy quickly but still served ).

On a bright note all rooms have a balcony and a little fridge which is very useful for water bottles. The staff are realy friendly and fresh watermelon is served everyday.
