Best Hotels in Afantou

Nothing to phone home about it suppose but all edible and nice enough. Pool - pools were good, large with a kids pool which my daughter had great fun in

where to start, first off, this resort is not a 5*. It may be on paper but for service and variety it is not. On arrival you only get one bottle of water in the fridge for a Junior suite with a private pool room

The buffet in the main restaurant was very good to be honest loads of choice

Drinks - all the traditional cocktails were terrible, we couldn't drink them. Stick to the beer, easy mixers, and if you like coffee ask for a cafe frappe with Irish cream

The resort could be doing with opening another bar for a quiet experience. Near the pool or on the beach etc. The beach was fine, I would say the beds on the beach seem old and one broke when I sat on it

The grounds are well kept and the rooms are clean and spacious, the cleaners are the star of the show and work wonders. The food whilst nice enough gets very repetitive very quickly

We got transferred to there because the other hotel needed some water repairs. The AC didn't give cold air, the mini frigider was not even good we put food and water in itt

The outside of the mini frigider was hot and the INSIDE TOO. At least the staff was very good with us. The outside pool was good, but little for me

I recently stayed at Afandou Bay Resort Suites and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The buffet was extensive and delicious, offering a great variety of options

Mary at the reception for her exceptional service and kindness. Plus, the beach is just a short walk away from the hotel!

The food was really good and much better than I'd expected. The pool area was small but very clean. This hotel is spotless and a credit to all the staff for maintaining the hotel to a high standard

I like a good moan but this hotel hasn't given me a reason to. The rooms have a fridge, hairdryer, tv with a movie channel and they are well kept and spacious. Moss will do all she can for you and make you welcome

We stayed here in may and upgraded to a new pool room that was absolutely stunning and the view was even better looking over afantou village. Sadly we only stayed for 2 weeks and wish I could've stayed longer

As a family, we have stayed at a few hotels on a number of Greek islands, we don’t expect a lot but whilst many travellers return here again and again, we won’t be!! Overall our holiday was OK, but it wasn’t the best - the good parts: We had one of the new rooms which were clean and well equipped, no concerns with it, generally the hotel was clean throughout

This is a big standard hotel - not the best but not completely awful, the bits that made it not so enjoyable: The pool area is so overcrowded. We are pool people and I had to get up at 6

Benefit is a bus stop right in front of the hotel with regular services to both Rhodes and Lindos. All in all a good place to stay

The location isn't ideal as there isn't too much to do outside of the grounds (a bus stop is right outside however) but the actual hotel, pool and facilities are brilliant

Stayed a week last year. Perfect place for families. Relaxing atmosphere. The "zoo" with all tbe farm animals perfect for kids

It is situated right next to a busy road but thanks to the set up and gardens you will not hear anything from the room. The pool is small but ok and there is a garden next to the pool to relax in

The shower doesn't have hot water late in the evening and very small shower cubicle (it doesn't fit a large person). Nice location by foot to Afandou village which is very lively and where you can catch buses to the city

A bit of a travel to the beach as such. Poor greek dude had to take a car for the luggage the steep hill getting in. And it was CLEAN!!! And honesty was key. you could help your self with beer 24/7 just leave cash

Excellent restaurants to eat out any time of the day in Afandou town centre , hotel is b&b basis good quality breakfast with juice & coffee , but €2 for the best cappuccino I've ever had frothy & creamy strong coffee perfect any type of fancy coffee made mike 1 of the men that works there makes the best mojito fresh lemons picked on the hotel grounds fresh mint also grown round the pool area so makes...

Good views. Good management. Relatively cheap. Rather a steep walk uphill as hotel is aptly named.

Best hotel due to the staff that run it , great views from balconies, rooms are cleaned ,beds made every day the cleaner works very hard cleaning changing towels every day , the pool is clean , was there June 2017 booked up to go again June 6th 2018 as I traveled last year myself 1st time ever sister was in hotel near by but Afandou Sky much better hotel it's up a hill but I have bad lungs emphysema...

I do not know if the same malakas run it at this point. I hope they do as it was a great hotell. how it is now? And you can sit outside. the only noise you hear is some chatter from the pool

You shouldn’t be allowed to reserve the ‘best seats in the house’ and then clear off back to bed! Staff were all very friendly, if you make the effort to talk to them rather than just demanding drinks they will appreciate it

The reason for writing it while I am still here is twofold:- 1 - I am going to be far too busy when I get home to think about it 2 - I can give a much more thorough review if everything is still in front of me so to speak My opinion, and let’s face it, that is all you have on here, is that a lot of the enjoyment of a holiday is down to the people that you end up holidaying with

Despite the hotel still being open for the final week, some foods started reducing / lowering quality at all inclusive, nightly shows stopped, kids club closed, there were more maintenance workers around seeming to prepare for closure

I always read reviews before I book a holiday, so I was very much reliant on other people’s opinions before booking this hotel for an all inclusive 10 day break in October

I would recommend the hotel despite some of the above as i don’t expect perfection at all and it really was a fab holiday, but it just felt that there was some end of season fatigue in some areas and some areas for improvement

Like paradise. Wonderful family, wonderful place, big pool. The best place for relax. Me and my family are looking forward to visit that place again.

I've enjoyed two weekends at Elefteria Apartments so far

The rooms are super clean, the garden is beautiful and the hospitality is legendary! It is very close to the highway junction too, near supermarkets and various stores. I would definitely recommend this place

Even a little beach bag !! In our villa there was a room upstairs with 2 single beds and downstairs a large king bedroom, beautiful bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. There were fresh oranges and lemons on the trees

A short drive away is the beautiful Tsampika Beach, although we found a much better beach a little further on called Agathi Beach. The 2 beaches at Lindos are definitely worth a visit too

The property itself is immaculately clean and well maintained and the owners are happy to help at any time. The pool felt like it was our own pool as there were very few people there

This hotel is especially worth visiting because of the people who work there, but also for the delicious food, great location with beautiful garden and pleasant beach, and excellent facilities for children

Bus stop is near hotel, which is very convenient. However, cleanliness should be improved — in a four star hotel there should not be yellow stains in the basin, and rooms should be cleaned under the beds

The Staff was outstanding friendly , polite , chatty and always trying to make you feel the best. Food choices for everyone and more than enough. Ill deffo book that hotel again next year

We spent our holiday with our 4 year old daughter at Irene Palace Beach Resort last June, and this year we decided to return because of what we appreciated most — the family atmosphere and warm welcome

Throughout our stay we felt that the staff really loves children, so we felt safe, relaxed and comfortable. The stuff talked with the kids, smiled, remembered their names, and did their best to make us feel at home

14 days of bliss! The hotel is a hidden gem, a 15 minute walk to Ladiko and Anthony Quinn beaches. Rooms were large and modern and exceptionally clean. Rooms were cleaned and sheets changed every day which is great

We had an amazing stay at Zoes, the staff were so accommodating and really went out of their way for us

The food at the hotel was really good, including the buffet breakfast which is all you can eat! The hotel is a 20 min walk from Falaraki town or there is a bus stop just at the top of the road with access to Rodos and Lindos

Bar open all day and in evening. Walkable to town (25 mins) though a few hills. Hit and miss bus outside but either packed or doesnt turn up, only 4 picks per day

The restaurant menu was very good, with the Moussaka, Giouvetsi, Gyros and Souvlaki dishes being really good. The bar drinks were all good and reasonably priced

Lovely hotel, with a wonderful family run feel. Nothing was too much trouble, and they very kindly offered assistance with our late pickup by offering somewhere to stay after checkout

We booked a week stay at the Lydia Maris for a half term break - me, my partner and our 5 year old. Lovely hotel with great facilities. Plenty of space to relax around the pool. The beach was less than 10 mins away

The room was perfect for our needs, the beds were comfortable. It was in need of some bits and pieces that needed improving but as it was the end of the season I would expect those to be done by next year

Deckchairs are scarce, and the pool water is murky. The accommodation doesn't live up to the advertised 5-star rating. Excellent waiter service: friendly and always available

Some of them had closed as it was coming towards the end of the season but there was still plenty to do if you wanted to. The food and drinks were great - plenty of options

It would be good if the food labelling was a bit clearer - I picked up some stuffed mushrooms that had meat in them and I’m veggie. Staff were available but busy so not that easy to get the info you need

There are some bars (I recommend Oasis), but just a few streets; after that, not much. I recommend renting a scooter from Max Moto, just one street away from the hotel. For coffee, I recommend To Nisaki café by the sea

Unusually bad weather Rhodes this time of year. However can't fault the hotel. It was clean, comfortable and the staff went out of there way to look after us

Attention to detail, the staff knew what we wanted to drink as soon as we went to the bar. Staff was so friendly and welcoming everyday. Manager vasisils was fantastic! Always onsite

Sea – A bit farther, about 10 minutes’ walk. The beach is average, not great but not terrible either. Negatives – The hotel Wi-Fi is basically just for show, practically unusable

Great hotel, very kid friendly, the best hotel and main hotel we have been, although our suitcases did not arrive and were delayed for a day and a half, the hotel did everything to make it fun and good, began to physically hug us and tell us about such cases, give gifts to children, improve the room

Now called Leonardo Resort. Staff are the ones that made me give 5 stars, cannot fault their hospitality from the manageress to the restaurant and bar staff.All made a big effort to make you feel welcome at this hotel.

Everything was clean, the room cleaners do a great job, I noticed on these reviews there are posts about cleaners stealing aftershave, this news went around the resort like wildfire, I don't believe for one minute the staff stole these items and it was a review from a bunch of people out to cause the owners problems, probably the ones screaming and shouting at stupid o'clock as I've mentioned above

The hotel boasts a fantastic view of the coastline (attached below), which is just as much beautiful in the day time as it is at night. Tasty food, an amazing drink selection and a warm homely feeling

I had a broken shower head, the owner heard me call through to the missus about water going everywhere, within seconds the owner was at the door apologising and had it fixed within 10 minutes and even offered to give us another room which we declined

Lovely place to stay, nice and quiet apart from one family shouting screaming drunk as skunks at stupid o'clock. View was great, owners and staff were brilliant

For nightlife, you'll have to go to Faliraki or Rhodos, as the area is very peaceful and does not offer any bars. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for someone looking for a peaceful and simple holiday

A great place that allowed is to fully relax after an intense two-week trip around Greek islands! Ladiko Inn is located in a wonderful place on the island, within walking distance of two of the most beautiful beaches

The best hotel in a very quiet and beautiful place near Ladiko beach and Anthony Quinn bay! The staff is with friendly and helpful! If you need a car you could ask at the reception

Ladiko Inn and the businesses around is run by a lovely family. They were perfect and accommodating hosts. Rooms were simple but very clean, cleaning was done every 2 days which was enough

Fantastic room and amenities were great, great value for money. Agora restaurant on site was fantastic service and great options. Staff were excellent from day one and the beach view was good too

Great Honeymoon Vacation It was a wonderful honeymoon experience as a couple. The buffet has a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is always fresh and of good quality

The snack bar products are very good, they make great gyros. All staff including reception, restaurants and bars are friendly and very smiling

We just returned from a 3 day stay at this property. The food was excellent, staff very friendly, pool and beach area very clean. We had a family room with 2 full-size bathrooms, very comfortable

Looks lovely when you walk in reception. 4* rating, but it should have been 3*. Rooms were basic, and food was more or less the same every day. Pools were nice, and they had slides aswell

It’s a shame as other than that the hotel was okay. Some staff, Antonio, Daniel and Mateo, were nice, Antonio did all of the entertainment on his own he was lovely. Reception staff obviously not good at all

Sometimes the entertainment in the night wasn’t great but Antonio was working on his own so it was good for a one man band

Currently staying here, we arrived late night Tuesday and Mohammed who was looking after reception and the bar manager made sure we got drinks and some food even though they had just closed for the night

Very friendly staff, pool area is good and bar staff are fantastic, the food is what you expect from an all inclusive hotel

The only limitation is that the Residences don’t offer dinner onsite (except at the excellent Blue Bay à la Carte). Instead, you dine across the way at the main Hotel

I enjoy dressing for dinner, and since the pandemic the Hotel has relaxed the dress code. While many will welcome this, for me it’s changed the atmosphere — I prefer dinner to feel like a special occasion

Now a cut toe is not the best thing to have on a beach holiday. The food was fine but not 5 star. We will not be returning, we’ll be going back to the Mitsis in Faliraki

The pool side food is very good, the club sandwich is the best I've ever had, would highly recommend if you are hungry

Excellent hotel, little bit outside Faliraki which lends itself to peaceful & quiet atmosphere. Views from the restaurant & pool are very good, overlooking all of Faliraki beach and town

Food was good we only ate there one night as there was plenty of places to explore in Faliraki (walkable) and Rhodes (taxi €24 from reception)

it's a great place as a base to get to know the island. It is quiet, the rooms are clean, no animation. The food is tasty although the choice is not great

The neighborhood is attractive - I recommend renting a car and seeing Lindos, Butterfly Valley, waterfalls and Tsambika beach

Although I am a fussy eater never in A/I have I not found something to eat, however I really struggled with the food at this hotel and found we ate out most of the time

Your not super disconnected like you would be in a really big hotel the service is so much better here. My husband and I had a massage each at the spa and it was really great

We moved to the Leonardo Kolymbia after staying in another hotel in the next resort which was not a very nice hotel at all and we didn’t want to continue our holiday there

We went 2 weeks from the end of season and it seemed like they were all ready to go home. The pools were good despite being very cold apart from the heated pool although a little grubby

We only ate in the olive restaurant and always enjoyed our food although the kids food is very repetitive. The staff here were always friendly and worked really hard in clearing tables

The bathroom could definitely do with a refurb as the shower looked very grubby and we found what looked like an animal dropping in the corner of the floor

The rest of the bar staff and the staff from the snack bar and ice cream shack didn’t seem like they wanted to be there and never interacted with us

The porter who took us to our room was really friendly and pointed out all the attractions and took our luggage to the first floor

I really think the toddler slide area would benefit from being heated as my daughter’s lips would turn blue after a while
