Simple rooms but it's exactly what you pay for. The staff is very nice from house keeping to servers. My wife asked if there was gluten free bread available and the lady working breakfast said no but asked how long we were staying. The next day the lady came with a package of gluten free bread. That made my wife's day. If we ever come back to Rhodes we will be staying again.

The location - right on the beach is great but you know that before you go. I liked it because it was so relaxed….refreshing not to have to hand over passports and fill in forms when you’re tired after a long journey. The welcome (very late evening) was perfunctory rather than warm with very little information given. We also had a noisy a/c unit. However, once we were switched to room 401 (for a small surcharge) we were very happy. The hotel is very well managed, kept clean, the food is good and....particularly we liked the quiet. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Good value for money. Room was clean and the pool area was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helped us when needed. You have to pay a small price for air conditioning in your room but it works amazingly and if you need a hair dryer or iron they have them at reception if required. It a nice quiet area and will definitely be coming back

Filmar has the most helpful, friendly, caring staff. My husband became unwell during our holiday which means we had to look for a place for him to rest when he got discharged from the hospital. Highly recommend! Really great location, less than 5 min walk to bus stop into Rhodes old town. The owner was really lovely and had great suggestions for us. Breakfast was delightful and the room was clean, comfy and spacious. Located close to the beach and lots of brilliant restaurants and shops.

I have been traveling for over 20 years, the owners of Helena Christina apartments are some of the most friendly, sociable, nice people I have ever met, a place 100% worth recommending.

A quiet but secluded base from which you can explore the area (20 min to Rhodos-city), fully run by the family who are very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
