Where to stay with kids in Rhodes Town

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. Large complex but very well managed. The beach is their own and the main pool looks olympic size! All staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The view from the main pool was amazing. The a la carte restaurants were of a great standard with lots of choices. The staff were wonderful and very attentive

Can’t wait to return What an incredible hotel! So beautifully decorated, such a vibe. The food selection is incredible, so many different restaurants- even for breakfast & lunch. Garden Bungalow was clean and spacious

The food, coffee, cocktails, and more are of better quality and in a quiet environment. The room, the setting, the service, the housekeeping, the restaurants, the games, and the evening entertainment are extraordinary

It's just a shame that the meals are exactly the same as they were two years ago. If the hotel could change the menu and buffet every one or two years, it would be perfect. But hey, it was as good as the first time

We couldn't get into any the first two days due to availability, but when attending the restaurants we had booked these where almost empty at times We had booked an executive suite our shower leaked and would flood the room if a few towels weren't put down under the shower door The ceiling in the walk in wardrobe started to leak and water from the air-conditioning unit leaked onto my clothes

We arrived a day late because we missed our flight, but when we arrived the next day we were told we had been upgraded to the adults only sister hotel, we were told the room would be the same as we booked, but it wasn’t

We had a look at a few different rooms but they were not the same… we did eventually get the room we booked (junior suit with a swim up pool and sea view) not sure why we weren’t placed there from the start as the exact same room next door was empty

The pool areas were clean but the water was a bit cold for the time of year we expected it but for a five star hotel you would think like it to be heated. The beach was lovely and beach bars also had amazing service

We would have liked the sauna, steam room and indoor pool to be included in the price as its five star. The gym was quiet and had a lot of new equipment with showers and towels included

We tried a lot of cocktails at the pool bar which was amazing because the staff came over and took your order for lovely bar snacks/lunch too

Great place, energetic entertainment team although the current show we are watching maybe in the twilight zone. Lovely pool with plenty of padded loungers and a good food selection on an evening

My first vacation with my family wasn't that great. We arrived after 1:00 AM, checked in, and went up to our room. We entered the room and I immediately went to the bathroom to check everything

Has everything you need nice and close. (Kids pool, kids club within sight of main pools, beach). The food was incredible! Nice touch being greeted to the restaurant without fail

I expected more fish, but that wasn't the case. The children's area was truly lacking; the swing was about to come apart. For a 4-star hotel, they still need to work hard on cleanliness, friendliness, and food

One important issue is the lack of supervision at the pool — unfortunately, some guests ignored the rules, jumping dangerously into the water near small children and rinsing sandy feet directly in the pool

Areas for Improvement: While the facilities were generally good, we did notice that the pool area could use more frequent cleaning, especially during busy times

The kids loved the pools, the slide, and the entertainment, while we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and fantastic food choices. There is something delicious for everyone, and the variety is truly impressive

What really made our holiday special was the staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, caring, and always ready to help. They treated our children with so much kindness, which meant a lot to us

The children pools were heated and were very welcoming for the little ones, although we visited in the off season, so it was not crowded

They only had two staff on at the pool bar but the ques went down quickly. Reception staff are very good and helpful they helped booked taxi to airport. but the main mention has to go to the daytime animation crew

The water park was brilliant except the spinning slide. That managed to burn and bruise my arm off it. Rooms nice and clean, wasn't quite the same as photo but was nice. The hotel is bigger than I thought

We’re a family of 4 with children aged 9 and 6, we’ve had a 2 week stay at the Blue Bay and have honestly had the best time. We stayed in the main hotel, floor 2 with a sea view

This is our second visit and once again did not disappoint all staff are very friendly warm and remembered us from last year and feel part of the family x Food is excellent in the buffet restaurant however the on site restaurants are superb Need to praise Maria Maria Polly Ki re Nicks Christina Billy Can’t wait to return

All inclusive food was not notch with plenty of options every day. Snack bar had gyros and burgers everyday with chicken nuggets for the kids. Plenty of desserts to choose from. Pool was massive and very well designed

From the minute we arrived we were in awe of the hotel. The family room of 4 is something we have never stayed in before with stunning views over the sea. Beds were massive and very comfy

Gym wasn't bad and had most things to get you through a quick holiday workout. Kids pool looked very good, though the lazy pool just took you whatever way the wind was blowing

Also the slides were all very good but they only had 1 /4 slides open at a time We were there in the last week of closing so that might have something to do with the slides

We had the mostly amazing stay with our friends and family. Food was incredibly varied, with restumants also on site. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble

We have just returned from a week’s stay as a family of 4, children aged 13 and 11. The hotel is perfect and we cannot fault it. Everywhere was very clean, with cleaners and staff constantly cleaning all day

I would recommended beach shoes as it is stony to walk into the water. The honey doughnuts in the bar are also delicious! A brilliant family-focused hotel and holiday

We loved the beach, the bar, the room, the pool table, the gym, the entertainment, the tennis courts, the easy access to shops and so much more

The pools during the day were heaving, you could hardly move, on 3 occasions the pools where closed due to parents letting babies poo in the pool, it's not acceptable

Lots of people letting children throw food on the floor and then just watched the hard working staff pick it up

The buffet was fair and always found something to eat. The restaurants by the pool that you would sit and order to your table were absolutely fabulous. The a la carte restaurants were also top notch

Should have written a review then, but only thinking to now as I am trying to rebook to stay again this year. We had the most amazing time at this hotel. The value we got for money was unbelievable

Had some of the nicest sushi of my life there. The cocktails were really high quality and never too much of a queue. Hotel was dated yes but clean

I think they currently are doing big renovations as I have tried to book for this year and unfortunately can’t. I will definitely be trying to book in when they reopen

We stayed here when we visited Rhodes. It was a beautiful and amazing hotel, very close to Rhode's old town

The staff is very friendly and made our stay there amazing! Food is also very good. There is a public beach right accross the street, which is very nice for swimming and relaxing. Two sunbeds with umbrella are 20€ a day

There are three top beach bars around as well as the ******, that serve food all day, and in the evening become bars with a stunning sea view. The breakfast of the hotel is quite delicious and it has quite the variety

The location is right on the city beach, certainly the best choice in the whole town. The staff is friendly and professional, special praise goes to the lovely waitress Marijana

It is a walking distance from the Old Agora, the Municipality, the Marina, the Evangelismos, and about twenty minutes more or less to the Medieval Town and the Light and Sound

The Location was Perfect!! Across the street from a Great beach (get the sea view rooms, so worth it) & a close walk to ancient ruins. The rooms are all updated & beautiful

The staff is among the best I've ever encountered, from the receptionist who goes above and beyond to assist with everything and provides personal attention to each guest, to the dining room staff, who were exceptionally attentive and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed, especially with our small children (and a special mention to the friendly pizza chef who makes the best...

After check out you can still leave your luggage and use swimming pool or shower. Really good quality of everything. Huge recommendation ❤️ Definitely gonna come back

Overall, the hotel is good, with a great location close to everything. The food is average and does not really change from day to day. Many thanks to the entire team. we would be happy to return in the future!

The staff was very friendly, warm and welcoming. The variety and quality of the food was amazing. We came with a small child, Rebeca, she is very shy but they made her feel so comfortable she even danced in the lobby

The hotel upon check-in to check-out was excellent. Staff were very friendly and we would stay there again due to location and just thd sheer pleasure of being welcomed warmly and nothing was any trouble.

Just steps outside the door are lots of restaurants, bars & shops, lots of choice to suit everyone. Our room was comfortable (really comfy beds & pillows) with a balcony looking over the pool

The staff are all lovely & always greeted us with a cheerful smile. The location was perfect for us, between the beach and the magnificent old city

It was mentioned in the description about the building work at nearby hotels but we decided to book anyway. So glad we did, we were not bothered by any noise while we were there

It is a shame that building works are part of the view but there's nothing the Esperia hotel can do about that Overall, we had a wonderful 7 day break & we will definitely go back & stay again

I spent a week in an apartment with my two-year-old child and we truly enjoyed our stay. The room was functional and clean

The only downside was the large construction site across the road but that is something the hotel can't do anything about. There wasn't a lot of noise but it affected the view

We have recently returned from Castellum Suites and we had a wonderful time. It is a medium size, clean and inviting hotel near to the Old Town of Rhodes

Right on the outskirts of the old town. We booked an all inclusive option with unlimited drinks during the day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Despite the low occupancy, the quality of the food was very good

Standard room with a garden view. We arrived early, but they checked us in without any problems because there were rooms available. I booked in advance and specified that I needed a room with two beds

We were given a room with two beds, but they were pushed together and covered with one sheet. I asked the maid to bring additional sheets and a blanket to separate the beds

Two maids came in literally five minutes later and changed everything. We found out that one of the beds was missing a leg. We called a repairman, who fixed it quickly

Spacious room. Bed was too hard for me but housekeeping added an extra bed topper when I asked for help and that made a big difference. Pool was lovely (although very busy) and hotel prices were good value.

The rooms vary, of course, according to what you pay but are all scrupulously clean, and it's possible, if you're clever, to get a room at the back overlooking the pool and palms without breaking any bank

Pool area bar very good with adequate menu. So good we booked again as soon as we returned home!

Location is convinenet, not too long way to go anywhere. For longer stay, you would like to have some kind of couch in a room. Pool area is compact but big enough still to take the sun in

I have only ever used it when making the trip from the UK to the distant Dodecanese, when it's wise to get to Rhodes then break your long day's travel with a recuperative night here before you get the ferry onwards, and the same on the return

close to harbour, local tavernas. Taxi back from old town if needed 7 euros. Can't fault this hotel! Breakfast caters for all dietary needs - continental, cooked, etc. Rooms immaculate and cleaned daily if required

What was supposed to be a relaxing, refershing birthday surpise eventually became a bit of a nightmare. This attitude towards guests is totally unacceptable and I hope that this doesn't continue to happen to other people

The location is perfect very close to the city center and the port. The welcome was warm, and throughout my stay every staff member greeted me with a smile true Mediterranean hospitality

There was live music on the first night, and although I couldn’t stay long due to other plans, the band sounded amazing

What really took us by surprise was that when we asked if we could have a late check out (as our transfer wasn't arriving until 6pm), we were ubruptly told no as "the hotel is closing for the winter"

To my utter horror, we were then told that the latest we could be back at the hotel on the day of departure was 5pm to collect our bags and that after that we were expected to wait in the street, in the dark I might add, with all of our belongings and luggage

At NO POINT during the booking process, or the run up to our holiday, was I informed that this would be the case otherwise I would have more than likely changed the dates, or cancelled altogether

Dinner bad, they serve food the old for two days, the fish don't clean up, I wonder if they taste the prepared meal prior to serving, the rooms are excellent but those facing the pool are full of moisture not to asmaticare and cardiac patients, the staff very kind

We ate at Ibiscus hotel's outdoor restaurant close to Elli beach - mainly because prices at nearby Azul restaurant bar on the beach were very expensive (salads at 20 euros? Beers between 8 and 10 euros? Hmmmm, no thanks

The rooms and decor are tad tired, but adequate, rooms quite basic but clean. Breakfast very good, plenty of choice and the staff are very attentive and professional. 15 minutes walk to the old town which is good

I am not completely satisfied with our room, because the description said it was newly renovated, and I experienced the opposite in several places. The cleaning was okay, and the bed was comfortable

On the first night of our stay, we were a little cold in the room, but the air conditioning is coded, so we could not switch to heating. The hotel staff is nice and helpful

The elevators in the hotel are slow, and if the hotel full, you have to wait a few minutes

The lifts are a bit of a pain at busy times. The pool has lots of beds, and generally, they are available as staff remove items from beds not being used

Hotel clean and well serviced - cleaning staff always polite. Great location with a gentle 25 min walk to harbour. I have travelled to many Greek locations but we have never felt such warmth and hospitality

Pool area was good enough apart from being in the shade mostly and the beds in the sun were in high demand. All in all great stay in a great location , very very minor gripes

We went bed and Breakfast and food was no worse than we’ve had anywhere but glad I wasn’t all inclusive as the choice on an evening was limited and room overcrowded

We had a sidesea view with balcony room 619. Breakfast lovely plenty of choice to suit all. Pool small but perfect for a dip plenty of beds if staying there for the day

The area surrounding the hotel was a huge construction site. Horrible noise, during the stay at the pool and even in the rooms. It would have been great if it was notified us prior the booking

Had a couple issues with the room, which the staff quickly fixed with no further problems x Breakfast served daily, and a mini fridge in the room. The lady who cooked the eggs and pancakes every morning is a superstar! X

Good location with benefit of the sea breeze to cool the baking temperatures down! Easy to walk to old town and up to acropolis, lots of restaurants close by and lots of small shops for food/drinks etc

We both absolutely loved our stay here, the room was clean, spacious and comfy, we opted for a 'side sea view' and still had a beautiful view of the old windmills and the sunset over the sea each night

My family members on the other hand, were in the lower floors with a very old room which looked nothing like the newer ones. It was like you were in a completely different hotel, not to mention their door wouldn't close

We were out the whole morning until 3 pm and when we got back, the room of my family members still wasn't cleaned. Overall though, the cleaning was good. The rooms also have a mini fridge with water, coffee and tea

What we were displeased with is that at the room I stayed at with a family member of mine, because as I explained it was upgraded, they made us change rooms the next day, to the older looking rooms

We were only there for two nights. The LEAST they could do is offer us the better looking room for these two nights after they messed the reservation. Making us change rooms for just one night was so unnecessary

Indeed, the room was beautiful and clean, we had towels, bath robes, slippers, batroom kits (like dental or shaving kits) and a nice view (although the old building in front of the hotel totally ruins the view)

The older rooms desperately need renovation. Old showers, ACs, hair dryers, they need to do something about it. The corridors were also very confusing and there should be signs to follow for the elevators

Great small hotel, nice shaded pool, fabulous extensive breakfast. Ideal location for a daily swim in the sea, a 15 minute walk to the glorious Old Town and plenty of options of restaurants and shops nearby

I stayed in this hotel last year and booked again this year on the strength of my previous visit once again I found it very clean with good food (although we only had breakfast and the occasional lunch) but the jewel in their crown must be their staff especially the chamber maids who made you feel like an old friend returning, if I go back to Rhodes I would definitely stay here again

We were given a warm welcome by the lovely receptionist on checking in, our room was lovely with a view to the swimming pool, we also had a safe and tea/coffee facilities, the bathroom was very clean with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner supplied together with a good hairdryer

Although this is only a 3 star hotel, staff takes care of you during the whole stay. The swimming pool is big enough to fit customers (although it closes at 6pm, which is too early)

We were also supplied with a free towel to use when swimming. We will return to this Hotel because it was only a 10 minutes walk to Rhodes old town and the beach was less than 5 minutes walk

Good little pool and comfy subbed. We stayed in room 211 with balcony overlooking the pool. A little noisy at night but you are in the town. Johnnys Bar is good and so is the food at Greek stories

Great location, surrounded by beaches, everything you need within 50m. Refurbished rooms, nice pool and deck amenities, with lots of space to relax. Service is superb, the staff are very friendly and helpful

There is a spacious pool, with sufficient lounge chairs. They offer a small but very nice menu of food you can order, make great cocktails and offer lots of other drinks. The breakfast isn't very interesting but okay

The good things: lots of storage space: cupboards and bedside tables, drawers etc; the view was good, the pool area was perfect, the breakfast was okay, the air conditioning was good, the balcony was good, the service was delightful

Very nice hotel close to the sea. We stayed in the room before the renovation, but it had everything we needed. The room was cleaned daily, towels changed on average every two to three days

Great hotel. My 3rd stay Great staff, great room ,great breakfast.What more to say. Only slight drawback was the square basin plug, which you can't actually 'plug' also could do with more storage cupboards for cloths.

Great 5 star hotel an the heart of Rhodes. Almost 100 years old luxury hotel at the heart of Rhodes. Great breakfast served to your table. The best thing about this hotel was the helpful and friendly staff

Service is nice, always smiley and helpful. (We were talking to people with basic rooms and would recommend to pay more for the upgraded ones). For night entertainment, it is crucial to travel to the city (Rhodos)

For those who prefer to relax, there is a relaxation area with pool tables. The hotel bar offers a variety of cocktails and drinks, perfect for spending pleasant evenings with friends or family

Some rooms are too noisy because of the main street. Swimming pool is open only between 9-18. You should also open pool bar in the evening, now it closes at 17:30. And pool for children is not for very small children

Hotel amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool, where guests can relax and enjoy the sun. Furthermore, there is a basketball and tennis court for sports lovers

We stayed in Amira Hotel for 10 days in 2021 july. The staff very kind and helpful. The food really tasty and absolutly enough and selection of food was great

Hotel is located in perfect place. Quite near of everything but still not too near and noisy. Beaches are only two steps away. Pool is in the other hotel and it is very small. We knew that so it doesnt bother

We had a trouble with our car and needed help asap! Even tho we were not hotel customers Nicole from the reception has been of great help calling road support and making sure we would arrive to the airport on time, so we wouldn't lose our flight!! Thanks a lot Nicole! Really appreciate your help and if we come back to Rhodes we know which hotel to choose :)

On the northern spot of Rhodes island with a tremendous see view, Aquarium view hotel is a very nice café and restaurant with exciting music nights 3 times per week and a very nice staff always ready to serve you

The location of the hotel was perfect. Right by the beach with stunning views from the balcony. And in great walking distance to the center of town, restaurants, etc. Service was very friendly and helpful

Stayed here for my honeymoon. Everything was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly, the views were stunning and the food and drink at the bar were lovely and at a great price. Definitely recommend
