Arte Hotel in Rhodes Town

Fantastic hotel, we are so glad we stayed here. Right by the beach, super clean, well appointed, friendly staff. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Room had great views, comfy bed, was peaceful. Breakfast had every type of food imaginable although the later in the morning you go, it gets very busy and hectic. But we loved this hotel. No complaints. We will be back. Thanks for everything.

I stayed at Arte Hotel only for three days during September. I can't say I was satisfied but I'm not displeased either.

From what I understood, the hotel underwent construction work and the upper floors have new, good looking rooms whilst the lower ones are old. When we got there, it was late at night and we find out that my room wasn't reserved so they upgraded it to a better room in the upper floors. Indeed, the room was beautiful and clean, we had towels, bath robes, slippers, batroom kits (like dental or shaving kits) and a nice view (although the old building in front of the hotel totally ruins the view).
My family members on the other hand, were in the lower floors with a very old room which looked nothing like the newer ones. It was like you were in a completely different hotel, not to mention their door wouldn't close. The cleaning lady had to show us how to close it but at this point, they should just fix the door instead of doing all these tricks just to get a door closed.

What we were displeased with is that at the room I stayed at with a family member of mine, because as I explained it was upgraded, they made us change rooms the next day, to the older looking rooms. We were only there for two nights. The LEAST they could do is offer us the better looking room for these two nights after they messed the reservation. Making us change rooms for just one night was so unnecessary.

The older rooms desperately need renovation. Old showers, ACs, hair dryers, they need to do something about it.

The corridors were also very confusing and there should be signs to follow for the elevators.

The breakfast was delicious, there was a variety of options. I haven't had better breakfast at a hotel before!

The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The cleaning time takes forever though, beware. We were out the whole morning until 3 pm and when we got back, the room of my family members still wasn't cleaned. Overall though, the cleaning was good. The rooms also have a mini fridge with water, coffee and tea.

Be ready to never understand how the TV works. The TVs are overcomplicated to use and I don't really think there is a volume button on the controller. You just have to watch TV in a constant volume, you can only mute and unmute it. The WiFi was free but the connection not so great in some rooms.

To sum it up, my opinion is neutral. We didn't stay long enough to have a full opinion nor were we hanging in the hotel a lot during these days I was there. Our stay could have been better if it wasn't for these negative points I explained above but overall, it wasn't bad. I believe I'd give them a second chance if I were to visit Rhodes again.

Loved the staff especially Angela on the front desk. I didn’t have the best night sleep due to the mattress being 2 singles. Really good location. The breakfast could’ve done with a little more fresh fruit. Overall decent and would spend a few more days.

What an amazing first trip to Greece and Rhodes, not a 4 star hotel but great value for money in a good location! All the staff especially the nightshift reception guy Paris was so welcoming and friendly. I will defo be returning to Greece

I really enjoyed my stay here for a week but I am not pretentious at all, all I need is a bed and a shower.
The room was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
The shower and some appliances are a bit old but work just fine so I was happy with it.
The location is close to the main street
and old city centre.
The pool has no view but why go there when in 3 minutes you can take a bath in the wonderful blue sea?
It is not a 4 star hotel more of a 3 star but for my and my wife it was perfect.

The hotel is still in renovation. However the room was cleaned every day, the receptionists were amazing. The breakfast was good and varied. The room was small and between the bed and the table the space was very narrow.
