We had a very enjoyable stay at this unique hotel, with truly spectacular views that are hard to beat. Waking up and seeing the landscape from the property was an absolute highlight of the trip. The hotel was still preparing for the summer season during our visit, so there was some light maintenance work happening, including painting, and the pool had not yet been filled. This didn’t significantly impact our stay, but it’s worth noting if you’re visiting early in the season. The rooms were exactly as expected for a cave hotel—simple, cave-like in design, but still comfortable and well suited for a relaxing stay. The staff were excellent and consistently responsive at all hours of the day and night, which made a big difference. Breakfast was another standout—delicious, fresh, and plentiful each morning. The only thing to be aware of is that the property is built into the mountainside, so there are a LOT of stairs if your room is located lower down. It’s something to consider if mobility is a concern. Overall, a memorable stay with breathtaking views and great hospitality.

Avoid this hotel. It was the worst experience we had. Rude staff, serious room issues, refused refund after early checkout. Room provided was not as per the photos and there no hot water, TV not working and there was water leakage from AC which created a huge issue. The bed/matress was extremely poor quality. Whole room was in a very bad shape. The management did not change the room when it was asked so we decided to change our flights to check out one day earlier but management refused to refund us the that night and was extremely rude and disrespectful. Next day management changed the room(a bit better) but we already had changed our flights. Overall we wasted money. Never stay here.

Sunrocks abruptly cancelled our long booked reservation 24 hours before our arrival and they offered no assistance or explanation. This was very disappointing and unprofessional. We had to scramble to find another, last minute alternative and were lucky to find any availability at such short notice.

Excellent hotel, exquisite stuff, knowledgeable tourist experts, maximum commodity. They met all our expectations and I want to thank them for making our holiday memorable and beautiful! I must mention Tim an Konstantina and Nicola that think out of the box and they are a great value to this hotel providing top quality custumer service.
We will definitely be back again in this hotel.

We were notified just 24 hours before our departure that the hotel had cancelled our booking — a trip planned for a special birthday. No explanation, no apology, just a sudden cancellation. This left us scrambling at the last minute to find alternative accommodation, turning what should have been an exciting, joyful lead-up into a stressful, anxiety-filled mess. Thankfully, we managed to secure another hotel about 1km away, or the entire holiday would have been ruined. Out of curiosity, we visited the original hotel during our stay to ask what happened, only to be told by reception that “it was the boss’s decision.” No apology, no accountability, no concern whatsoever. We’ve travelled widely and have never experienced such unprofessional and careless treatment. This is not how you treat guests — especially with no communication or effort to help find a solution. Absolutely unacceptable.

Great hotel in a stunning location. Beautiful rooms, all with amazing rooms. The room we stayed in had the most incredible view from the window and balcony. Didn’t need to find any other spot to watch the sunset, could do it right from our room. The food is outstanding if a little pricey but the real star is the staff whose are amazing and could not do enough for you. Out special thanks to the pool bar teams, Kristie, Breanna, Irini and Nikos. You made our stay very special with your kind and attentive hospitality!

Very good environment, but there may be more small insects on the beach, but there is nothing you can do about it. I will consider coming here next time. The waiters are very friendly and I like the breakfast here very much!

This hotel was easily one of the best experiences we have had at any hotel. The staff makes you feel like you are family and they go out of their way to accommodate you in any way possible. Thank you Nicos, Irinie, Christina, Briano and Tim for making our stay so memorable. And thank you to the chef for such innovative and delicious dishes at every one of our meals. This hotel is small and that is exactly what makes it so wonderful. Location is also great and the views are breathtaking. I can't say enough about this beautiful place and the wonderful people working there. Can't wait to go back. Thanks again.

This was our first trip to Santorini and we had an amazing time. The views are spectacular and the hotel staff treated us like family. Lots to do within walking distance. But the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious! Be prepared to walk stairs anywhere you go on the island, but worth every step! We will be back!
