Lovely staff, great rooms, beautiful pool area!

My sister and I stayed here five nights. They were so helpful and kind. Drew us maps, showed us around, ordered a rental car that was delivered, gave advice, and made our check in and check out a smooth transition. Staff very approachable and friendly. Check out was at 11am and they let us stay, use the pool and shower while hanging out waiting to leave for our 3:30pm ferry. Rooms cleaned every day...

My husband, daughter, and I spent 4 days at The Black Rose and LOVED it! We were greeted like family, and the staff was exceptional for the entire stay. Great access to local restaurants and beaches. Our stay was wonderful, everyone friendly and welcoming. Very close to the bus, the beach. We had delicious omelettes every morning made by the owner, you can get other stuff too. They were there to pick us up at the port. Our tour was arranged for us also. Enjoyed the heart shaped pool and our sitting area. The beds are a little firm.

Beautiful small family hotel run by Julia and her sons, who make you feel right at home with their warm welcome and discretion. Steps away from the beach and numerous restaurants and bars, and within wlking distance (about 30 minutes, don't forget water) from Vlychada and Perissa. The homemade food is very nice and the shaded tables on the edge of the heart-shaped pool make for a very relaxing experience...

Excelent place and grand persons the hotel

The rooms are extremely small, no space for keeping the luggages, open showers in the toilet, also barely enough space for 1 person to stand. The owner was a very nice person, drove us from airport for 35 euros each way. Overall not too bad, just wasn’t the right one for us.

The property is clean, located walkable distance to black beach in Perissa, do grocery and restaurants. The pool size is good and the pool is clean. The owners are nice and respond hast to messages. Drinks can be purchased at the hotel and enjoyed on the terrace.

The man who checked us in, couldn’t of been any less helpful if he had tried, he was rude and was only interested in trying to sell us tours. Our room had 2 huge beds in, so no room to walk around ! Only one large dinner plate and very little cutlery. The 2 ring hob was extended using tape, health and safety non existent, sockets hanging off the wall. We were absolutely pleased with our staying at Evelina pension. Kostas is very friendly and made sure that our stay there was special!! He recommended us some places too which elevated our experience on the island!! I recommend this place !!

Clean, comfortable and well located for beach and restaurants. The best thing about Evelina Pension was our host. Kostas is a lovely man who made us very welcome from the start. Lots of useful information. He even took us dancing with his family!

The gentlemen who owned this was kind and friendly, and very helpful. Our room was lovely too. Could not fault any of it. I just suggest the towels need to be a bit softer . The beach was beautiful and very close too. The only thing we did not like was there were rocks as you walk into the sea and it was very slippery. We had a lovely time though, and would recommend this hotel.

4 days with 4 friends, everything perfect. The Evelina pension has different types of apartments, some simpler, some more elegant. The location is perfect, 2 minutes by foot from Perissa beach from Perissa beach. Kostas is a very kind person! We stayed very well!

Accommodation ordinary but cozy. The host is a very pleasant person who loves people. He will give you tips for trips and give you discounts on restaurants. I recommend it to everyone.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. However, we were disappointed that the hotel didn't serve breakfast but it was close to a very good bakery. Also, the location was very close to the beach.

This was a gem of a find. The family were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was upgraded on arrival and we had access to a roof terrace as well as choice of balconies. There were areas to dry any clothing, hairdryer, small hob and kettle in each room. The room was cleaned every day, with fresh bedding and towels, bins emptied and surfaces cleaned. I absolutely enjoyed this stay to the maximum. The family run place is adorable and the family itself…they looked after me like I was their own :) The studio has everything you need - comfortable clean bed, the fridge, the cooker, plates, mugs, cutlery… and the views. It’s located within 5 mins to the popular Gyros place, beach, bakery... If you rent a car, you can park just a few metres higher up...

All the staff were so attentive and welcoming. The transfer arranged too and from the airport was great. The hotel is better than the pictures, the breakfast each morning was different and lovely. The pool areas and the beach beds well kept and always beds available. Would definitely stay again.
