This hotel is great the people are great lovely and cannot do enough to help you and make sure you have a nice holiday, I would love to go back, but unfortunately I have mobility issues, and the mattress are for me impossible for me to sleep on, and I am in pain because they are so uncomfortable. Having read some of the poor reviews I was a little worried about coming here, but I needn't have been. The location could not be better; the place is spotlessly cleaned and the food is just fantastic. I think some of the previous reviewers who have slated this place just haven't travelled very much (or were expecting a UK-standard four star). There was daily cleaning, the smart TV was great, the staff was nice, their confidentiality was almost too much. The kitchen could be normal, but it is very poorly equipped (no microwave, kitchen appliances, cutting knife, plate, dish, small glasses, kitchen equipment, etc.), 1 of the 3 air conditioners worked normally, 2 trash cans (August 2023).

Staying at the Thetis was a joy. Good communication with Elena who welcomed us and kept in contact with WhatsApp. The housekeeping was superb by our brilliant housekeeper Bruna. Just returned from a 10 day holiday .Stayed in the new block so can't comment on the old appartments. New rooms great and the pool.in front was never too busy ,unlike the other pools.The best part about this hotel is the location, perfect for famillies.The beach is a stones throw and the local restaurants and bars are a 5 min walk if that . The Koukiunaria Hotel and Suites was a great find in Alykes. It’s up a short track off the road and close to the sandy beach. It has a beautiful pool with ample sunbeds for all. Called here one evening for food as we were late going out and it was near our accommodation. Wish we'd come before as the food was delicious + very reasonably priced. Just got back from Giannis studios ,we had an amazing stay ,all the staff are amazing very friendly and welcoming,The food at the hotel was top notch and very fairly priced .the hotel is a 5-10 min walk from the beach and centre .very peaceful and for 20 euro you can hire a moped and see the island and all it beauty .

Had a lovely two weeks stay in September 2025. The apartment we stayed in was roomy, clean and had everything we needed including a good spacious balcony and was Cleaned on a regular basis. The Breakfast was lovely and Kate and Penny were always on hand to help in anyway they could. The Apollo restaurant which is part of the Apartments served excellent food . Spent a week in the 2 bed apartment & couldn't fault it tbh. Clean, functional, spacious, and with the lovely Apollo Taverna at the front. 10 minute stroll into Alykes centre so perfect after dinner to walk home & chat. Great spacious studio with comfy beds limited cooking facilities but with a fabulous restaurant and pool bar on site who wants to cook!! It's a 8/10 minutes stoll to town centre which is more than doable. Host's were friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble. The studio would benift from a clothes drier to hang wet towels on rather than over the balcony. All in all a great stay

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week holiday staying at the Aphrodite studio and apartments.. and all we can say is wow... the apartment was immaculate, very well equipped, bedding and towels where changed very frequently..and big thing for us was that air conditioning was already included in the room..our apartment had views of the mountains, the salt flats and also the sea.. its location...

Fantastic suites and Studios. We stayed in a luxury suite with private jacuzzi and sea view. Host left fruit, bread, milk, tea and coffee , snacks on arrival. Greatly appreciated. Restaurant downstairs serves delicious home cooked Greek cuisine and other dishes. We ate their for 3 nights!! The complex is spotless and the pool bar is fab with mountain views. Highly recommended!
