Where to stay with pets in Eger

We stayed at the Flora Hotel before the renovation and were very pleased with everything. The food is excellent, and the saunas and cleanless, The connection to the thermal baths is fantastic

free use of spa facilities good Wi-Fi free parking five minute walk to the centre of town 10 minute walk to the train station two hours on the train to Budapest would definitely stay here again

The room is spacious and the bathroom is very comfortable. We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back again. Thank you very much for a truly enjoyable stay

The hotel was updated and very clean. I is attached to the thermal bath and you are able to take advantage of this easily. The food (breakfast and dinner buffet) was quite nice as well

Outstanding boutique adult only hotel with private balconies, great breakfast, large gym, and a lovely spa. I enjoyed my 2 nights here while taking a trip up from Budapest for the weekend in November 2024

The spa was a highlight with a multiple saunas, baths, and steam rooms. The hotel's location is a quick 10 minute walk into town. I really enjoyed my stay thanks to the great service and amenities offered at Imola

The sanitation is very good, the breakfast is good, and the service communication is basically no problem. Bring a swimsuit to enjoy the sauna in the hotel

Realised family hotel after getting there. But inckuded dinner and breakfast. Had to move rooms could hearvthe bowling alley in our room. The pools and saunas were nice

Breakfast is decent with a good selection, but rather repetitive from day to day. The spa area is very nice, with several saunas

And the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. One could easily walk to most parts of Eger from this hotel. I was surprise me to find out they charged for parking -- they said it was to pay for the security system

The rooms are a bit dated in design. We had a room with large windows facing the street and sidewalk, and we're not sure the curtains there did much to help with our privacy. The appliances don't always work properly

It sort of threw me -- why did they need a security system if this was a safe area? But it was only 5 euros a night, and it turned out there wasn't enough spaces for one night, so we had to park on the street

We found a spot very close to the hotel and had no issues. The hotel had a mineral bath, but unfortunately we never had a chance to use it. But they provided robes for the baths, which was a nice touch

The wine cellar tour with wine tasting offered to us, by an English-language leaflet, turned out to be exclusively in Hungarian. It's not entirely clear what the Beatles Museum does at the hotel

It's located inside the Beauty Valley. Perhaps because it was the off-season, there were few people around, and the front desk was rarely seen

Good place. The food was good, wines were better and there were cats chilling near tables. Didn't stay for the night, just dinner.

The environment is beautiful, nestled beside a lovely mountain forest, perfect for an after-dinner stroll. The hotel facilities are complete and clean. Free breakfast is provided, but parking is available for a fee.

My favourite place for dinner in the Valley. The whole place is designed as a showcase of traditional Hungarian cuisine, wine, and wine making. Dishes are exceptionally delicious, and the wine selection is great

It felt like they actually enjoy cooking and are proud of what they do, instead of just offering something for tourists. Very nice experience, and the restaurant itself is also very nicely decorated

Nagyon finom, one of the best Hungarian restaurants I've been to. The service was nice, and the food was really really good. We ordered a table full of different things and everything was delicious

The front desk also has an employee, torn black jeans, and a blue nike slipper that doesn't fit there at all 🤭 On arrival we were a lovely young man, on the second day this torn young man in jeans, on the day of our journey a lovely lady! These are “little things,” but they matter a lot

If you already have a Mini bar, a bottle opener wouldn’t hurt the room either! There is a wine opener, but no glass opener… Regardless of these, my 5 * rating is because it fills a person with warmth once he enters the hotel, we work in hospitality in a 5 * hotel and we are aware of how much work there is in all this! At dinner, 2 small appetizers , 3 main courses + garnish, 2 small cookies to choose from. The salad bar does not exist, instead it was the same 3 salads for 2 days with 3 changing dressings

We had a lovely week! The apartment were clean, functional and spacy. The wellness was cozy with a nice view and plenty options to relax. The breakfast and dinner were good homemade meals

Perfect location, perfect staff!

Spent here around 3 months during a business trip. Everything is great, rooms are very clean and the host is very flexible. I can only say a big Thank you and definitely recommend to anyone visiting Eger. All the best!

Extremely slow and with a million questions asked in the check-in process, there was no one there when we came (15:30h), had to call and wait for 20 minutes for them to come

Great lady working both as a chef and cleaning staff. One room was very cold as the gas heating wasn't working, until the next day when that sweet lady helped

It is perfect that it's located right next to the castle and a Michelin star restaurant, and I could find other restaurants around. It's within walking distance to other attractions as well

A beautiful and well organized hotel, located a few meters away from the medieval fortress. Everyone at the hotel was nice and ready to help. We also liked the garage that can accommodate about 10 cars.

We got room number 2 which was located on the first floor with a balcony to view on the castle. The room is not huge but includes a small fridge with drinks and sweets. Short walk distance almost everywhere

We went back to Eger after 20 years and this was our first time to stay at Imola hotel. Great location with the option for underground car parking for fees

You can feel the history and the culture radiates from the walls of the building! Actually it is an interesting fact that they used some of the stones from the castle when the hotel was built

The best chicken soup I had in a long time🤩 And the "édes lányom" is a perfect wine for some dessert, we really liked it!

The location was perfectly situated on Market Square near some lovely restaurants which made us feel like we were a part of the excitement of the city

My husband also let them know he collects money and wanted to find some of the old Hungarian notes and to our surprise and pleasure the next night the owners gifted my husband some of their own old currency

They do provide a breakfast buffet every morning with yoghurt, fruit, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, bread and a delicious cheese and bacon scrambled eggs

This hotel can be described as one big warm hug. The husband and wife owners man the front desk and are honestly the sweetest hosts

The playground is super, interesting, and has a wide variety of games. The slides are quite steep, there is no harm in parental supervision

Our little girl really enjoyed the pony ride, it was a real experience and absolutely affordable. The people who worked here were helpful and kind. Next time we will try the restaurant as well, it is now left out

A rustic rural ranch type of place..if you like the horse life then you're in for a treat.

Great place, we were with a 3 year old kid and all three of us had a great time! 🙂 The car park could be bigger, but luckily you can also stop by the driveway

If you’re traveling to Eger you have lots of choices but none better than the Aqua Villa. Just on the edge of the busy historic district, it’s quiet and spacious and pristine. The breakfast is a traditional Hungarian one

We hilly recommend this hotel it is very clean the staff is very helpful and the food is amazing. We had a very nice room, and it is very near to the center of the city

We were located quite in the centre, could park the car and the trailer which was essential. It was quiet and the rooms were freshly renewed. That and the fair price is what we liked

My friends and I stayed at the hotel for a whole week. The rooms were very clean and the towels were changed every day. We enjoyed a delightful buffet breakfast every morning and had a lovely dinner every evening

The hotel has changed management a few years ago and is now run by a delightful and energetic young couple. Comments made in December 2016 as well as those made in 2018 about the hotel are no longer valid

The hotel has a decent breakfast with enough variety to start the day, and the location is very convenient, near the city centre, making it easy to get around and visit nearby attractions.

The Unicorn is the hotel of choice. It's in a great location for walking around the city

The room was clean, spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The TV and remote control were awful; there was no channel list, the remote worked intermittently, and the TV screen was tiny

The location is the best and at the same time it is not noisy. The room has nice design, but some maintenance needs. The breakfast was poor, I would recommend to book without breakfast. The service was really nice.

This is such a lovely boutique hotel! It’s centrally located, not too far from the town square and it’s next to the central market Piaccsarnok! Maybe because it’s the off season but I managed to get a really good price for a room and it comes with breakfast! For breakfast there is a small breakfast bar with juices and water, bread and spreads, and this amazingly fresh honey
