The rooms are small in the limit of just barely enough for 1-2nights. Shower is leaking, bathroom stinks constantly so we had to keep the door closed always.
What is maybe worse: the cleaning service. Cute cleaning lady start slamming the “service room” door at 6:15, listening to ABBA - Take a chance on me. As well as singing is loudly in the corridors and smashing things like there is no tomorrow. The room temperature is 24degree celsius and you are unable to cool it since our window (room 14) opens to the street that is LOUD. So we check-out earlier. :(

We hilly recommend this hotel it is very clean the staff is very helpful and the food is amazing. We had a very nice room, and it is very near to the center of the city

Clean spacious room. Very good breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend. Close to Eger center too.

It is a very nice place to stay in Eger. Very close to the city center and also to the Turkish spa. However, they serve only the breakfast, no lunch or dinner (even if they offer this on booking).

This was a great vacation. We were located quite in the centre, could park the car and the trailer which was essential. It was quiet and the rooms were freshly renewed. That and the fair price is what we liked. I like the quietness there - that is often so in Hungary. The only thing we missed was a climate system, but that is more than can be expected at such prices. We certainly come back again!

A very quaint and charming place located in walking distance to the city centre. The place is clean and breakfast was always good with a good choice of food.Staff was friendly and accommodating. Well done 👏 will definitely recommend it to my friends.

I have just returned from a very enjoyable holiday in Hungary. My friends and I stayed at the Hotel Aqua Villa in Eger. The hotel has changed management a few years ago and is now run by a delightful and energetic young couple. Comments made in December 2016 as well as those made in 2018 about the hotel are no longer valid. My friends and I stayed at the hotel for a whole week. The rooms were very clean and the towels were changed every day. We enjoyed a delightful buffet breakfast every morning and had a lovely dinner every evening. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to whoever wishes to enjoy a pleasant holiday in Eger and its whereabouts.

If you’re traveling to Eger you have lots of choices but none better than the Aqua Villa. Just on the edge of the busy historic district, it’s quiet and spacious and pristine. The breakfast is a traditional Hungarian one. All you need to do to make it truly authentic is add palinka! Enjoy this historic and scenic city. The food scene is fantastic.

We had a pleasant stay here. Staff was really friendly and service minded. They prepared the sauna and jacuzzi for use and we received muffins upon check-out. Rooms are a bit dated, but facilities are nevertheless still fine. Would come back when around.

Quiet hotel at 5 min walk to the castle, baths or center. Very kind and smiling staff. Tasty and affordable restaurant although was closed a bit early
