As returning guests, my wife and I visited MenDan Magic Spa once again, and we were not disappointed. The wellness area remains outstanding and is the perfect place for total relaxation. Our room was impeccably clean, with great attention to detail, which ensured our complete comfort. However, the main reason we keep coming back is the gastronomy: the dinners are simply magnificent! The chefs still manage to surprise us with new and exciting flavors, and the quality and variety of the food are flawless. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality wellness experience and culinary adventures in Zalakaros. We will definitely be back! Nice, quaint, almost boutique spa hotel (at least compared to the standard enormous hotel chains). Food is of high quality, I honestly can't say anything was bad - everyone should be able to find something they enjoy during breakfast and dinner service. Spa and skypool are nice, there's no reason to go to the Zalakaros aquapark/spa to be honest. The location is nice, right beside a new pond and (the main) park in Zalakaros, perfect for going for walks. I guess if I had to critique something it would be the bedsheets (pillow and blanket specifically) are starting to show their age. They've yellowed over the years and the pillows just feel cheap - like those ultra cheap pillows with the foam chunk filling. The hotel is in need of a complete pillow, blanket and bed linens refresh. The bath robes we were given were children's size, like literally children's size, my wife's robe was too small for her and she's only 150cm tall. I guess I could have asked for new robes at the reception desk, it's more the principle than anything, why would the cleaning staff put 2 tiny robes in a room, in a hotel where 90% of guests are couples? The boxspring under my mattress had a nasty squeek from a worn out spring, which woke my wife every time I got into/out of bed during the night. Oh and the jacuzzi bubble function in our suite kept either turning on randomly (with no water in the tub, the tub turned off) , or making loud noises all throughout the night (hard to describe the sound, like the pump kept turning on for a split second, over and over). It actually kept me awake on our second night.

My family and I stayed there for one night; it was very relaxing and we felt very comfortable. I was even surprised with a birthday cake. The infinity pool is the highlight. There are plenty of parking spaces and the food is very good. We would love to come back.

Excellent for family holiday. Recommend the local cycling paths and kenue-ing on the “Kis-Balaton”.

Best Spa and Wellness Hotel in Hungary. The rooftop pool is unique in Europe with DJ and les wall. You can visit the city lake in 5 mins next to the spa. With family, friends or couples.

We are returning guests because it is one of the finest hotels in Hungary. Comfortable and clean rooms, friendly, polite and helpful staff. The wellness area is huge and a great experience. The SkyPool is unique and wonderful. The restaurant is spacious and very nice. The food is incredibly rich and delicious. We will return at least twice this year as MenDan is our favourite hotel.
