Great location on Vaci
Room was nice, larger than expected, in a great location - close to everything! One morning we we unable to get hot water in the shower, but other than that it was great.

Great location and clean
It was hard locating the hotel, but understandably it was on pedestrian street with no access to car entrance. The location was convenient for walks, there were no signs outside to find the hotel, but once we were accommodated it was a very nice place. I thought i booked a room for 3 as it was me, wife and son, but all there was a bed and a one person sofa. I would stay at the local again if I go to Budapest, based on the locality, and cleanliness.

The young lady at the reception was very unfriendly and there was some hair on the floor of our room. We also had to discuss in order to get the paid breakfast!

Amazing
Amazing accommodation. Beautiful room with piano theme, quirky and spacious. Comfy beds and warm. Clean room and hotel, reception staff friendly! Will definitely be staying here again!

No hot water for showers in the evenings!
Great location and nice clean simple accommodation. We were unable to use remote control and TV and this was sorted for us promptly. A panel on one of the steps came loose, this was sorted with duck tape. Staff at reception were attentive, cheerful and helpful.
I cannot say the same for the management! There was no hot water available in the evenings on all 3 days of our stay. This definitely impacted our stay in Budapest as after long days exploring the city we were unable to shower before going to bed! The manager investigated our complaint and could not explain why there was no hot water stating that he could not see the problem.
However, there was a problem; there was no hot water! Unless you call the emergency telephone number after 7pm, nothing can be done as reception closes at 7pm. I e mailed reception every evening to inform them that there was no not water.
I have to say that I was disappointed that nothing was actually done, even a visit from the manager, the offer to change our room or a discount for the issue of not having hot water would have been nice! The reception staff assured me that someone would be in touch with me regarding this issue, but sadly no-one has been in touch!
Unfortunately we will not be staying at Walk Inn Vaci 78 again!

Incredible location - everything was within walking distance, which we really enjoyed. We stayed 5 people (two parents and three kids age 7-14), which meant all kids on sofa beds, which wasn’t super comfortable. Would also have been great to be able to close a door between some of the beds so our youngest could go to bed earlier while the rest of us stayed up longer. But all in all it was a great place to stay and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Confortable and we'll located
The room is comfortable, had all I needed.
The hotel is well located. The staff is nice.
But it is a bit noisy the room at the ground floor. Is just by the reception and you hear everything.

We arrived at 14h25 and the receptionist announced check in was at 15h there was some maintenance to be done. The tone was very rude and for a toilet seat to be fixed we were refused access to the room. Check out is at 10 which seems early. I don't understand why they need 5 hours between guests.
Reception is only until 19h and the hotel does reply to SMS or emails.
Receptionist was super rude.
They offer courtesy umbrella ☔ but they are broken. Maybe 3 for all guests.
Over services are very poor.

Everything was in good condition with a lot of complement refreshments . Only the free in room wifi was not stable ,most of time was lost contact.
