The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the Parliament Building, and very convenient for all major city attractions. We stayed one night at the Mercure Hotel in Budapest and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The hotel was quite cold for the two weeks of my stay due to a technical issue. Unfortunately, the spa area—which was the main reason I chose this hotel—was also too cold to fully enjoy. This hotel offers the best views of the Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest. It's located on Fisherman's Bastion, and the rooms with a view are on the ground floor, accessible via a private, discreet pathway. The Leonardo Hotel Budapest was fine for a short stay. The location is decent, with some public transport options nearby. The room was clean but a bit small and basic. I had a great business trip to Budapest in December. The staff (particularly a gentleman named Akos) was amazing and super attentive towards my needs. The room service and location were great as well. The bar was fantastic and the bartender Oliver, was so gentlemanly and kind. I loved it so much. Only recommendation is that the hot tub could be a bit more hot!

You can take the 100E bus from the airport directly to the hotel, but for the return trip to the airport, you'll need to go one stop forward or backward to catch the 100E.
