Hungaria Guesthouse in Budapest

It was a bad experience, but it might be OK for an emergency case that you came here late at night.

They gave me a room on the rooftop floor, a small room with poor furniture. You could smell the stinky and weird smell on the pillows. Sheets just so-so. They don't provide any things to take a shower, shower head was horrible, and the toilet had the most dirty floor I have ever seen. It couldn't be closed or locked, and the exhaust fan was noisy. If I check in for an earlier time, I will complain about these and then ask for a change room. (Other room is not that dirty and acceptable, but it hasn't any shampoos either.)

The good news is that everyone (except the female cleaner) here was friendly and warm-hearted; I really enjoyed the experience talking with them. But it is not for a reason with this cost (20,500ft one night, check out at 2pm); if half, I will consider it a good deal.

The rooms are small and dirty. It is really scary to go the the bathroom to take a shower, as there is a hole in the bathroom cabin. You can also hear really well everything what goes on in the street as windows are old and have holes as well. What is good is the placement of this place.
All in all this is a place for one night.

AVOID this place at all cost! The rooms are infested with insects, the beds are full of bed-bugs, the whole room has a dirty toilet smell. We leave after the first night. Staff people dont speak english at all! We asked for a refund, we received after saying we are calling the cops. Big No!

The horror. Neglected entrance from the street, without lighting. Room for 4 people is too small. Bathroom with toilet is too small for an adult. It stinks. The room has an old window which blows. Sheets were dirty. Room "H" They do not speak English or German. We leave after 1 hour. NOT RECOMMENDED !!!
Not nearly as in pictures!!! Go away.

Paid for double bed room with toilet, and I've got single bad room in attic, for same price!
I litteraly hear everything that people arround me talk, there's no heat in room it's like 5 celsius.. I'm cold, beds aren't clean, room isn't vacumed and personel doesn't speak any language but hungarian..
terrible!
